Portable & capable machine. Easy to carry.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent form factor, great battery life, better than expected brightness, solid keyboard, acceptable trackpad, vibrant display, great speakers, lightweight, and a capable processor. The only downfalls are the single USB type A, and the port positioned power button. Wish it had a skinny numeric pad and fingerprint sensor, but given the 15.3" display, I'm not sure it would've fit. It's a perfect little machine for office and home use, cranking out solid portable performance. Paying close attention to your power settings, brightness, and application use, you certainly could get 15+ hours of use on a single charge. I'd recommend it on sale. I got an open-box unit for $700.

The best laptop on the market is not the most exp
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is the true definition of a laptop! You can work for 5 hours with very good performance using Photoshop, Affter Effects, Illustrator, WordPress Without relying on your 60W charger. The keyboard is the best I have ever used on a laptop!, I use a ROG SCAR 4090 and I must say that it is a laptop that gives it a lot of battle! it is impressive as a competition despite not having a graphics card. You can play games like League of Legends at 120 fps with vertical sync in Ultra o Warzone at 60 - 55 stable FPS and win qualifiers It is a laptop that you can charge with a powerbank and I simply think that the Core 7 Ultra EVO processor is infitiously superior to the MacBook Pro M3. It makes no noise with ventilation, it is a fresh laptop, it is beautiful. It is a perfect computer, I think if you have a chance it would be worth buying the 32GB version, but with the 16GB version you can achieve great things!

Best all around laptop with fantastic IPS screen
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is fantastic at the $999.99 price point. Pros: Snappy operation, comfortable and responsive keyboard, loud and clear speakers (play around with modes to get the best sound), sharp and bright 120hz IPS screen (no screendoor effect life most OLED screens), rounded edges (no sharp edges digging into your palm like Macbooks), minimal bloatware compared to HP or Dell, cold to warm laptop feel, quiet fans Mediocre: Touchpad (works well enough for a mechanical type; wish it was haptic), cannot open lid with one hand. Cons: The keyboard backlight only has two settings. The entire f-key row bleeds (more light comes from the edges than the key cutouts; you can see the LEDs themselves, check out the attached photo)

Awesome laptop!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using this laptop for work, and it has been consistently lasting around 12 hours which is absolutely fantastic! I was a bit iffy about the IPS screen originally but it's one of the best I have seen personally. Not exactly OLED level but REALLY close. It also is completely silent and stays cool so you never get uncomfortable when resting it on your stomach or legs.

Posted .Hi JUNIORH,
Thanks for choosing Lenovo and for sharing your feedback with us. We wish to provide the best experience possible, and if you'd like, we want to work with you to address the points you shared to try to improve your experience.
To start with performance, this Yoga Slim 7i features a Core Ultra 7 Series 2 CPU with high-speed memory for elevated productivity. If you are experiencing slowdowns in speed, yet this Yoga's specifications align with the workload you need, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, apply all available updates. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, following on-screen prompts to apply all available updates here as well.
Regarding your issue with battery life – there are many variables that contribute to shorter battery life. Thankfully, many of those variables can be adjusted. By default, the system will tend to give more speed when needed, which can sacrifice battery life. If you want to squeeze out more battery life, we recommend utilizing the Lenovo Vantage application that is preinstalled to adjust settings related to power and battery performance (to access relevant settings, open Vantage > Device Settings > Power). You can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both worlds.
Please don't hesitate to let us know what else we can do to try to improve your experience, as your satisfaction is important to us.
Regards,
Lenovo

does the job would buy again
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I first brought it worked really well. there weren't any scratches or dings. It came looking brand new, but now that I've had it for a few months, it's started to act a little funny. It'll randomly turn black, then start working again, and my tabs will sometimes close themselves other than that it works well!

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought open box. Excellent condition yoga 7i Slim Aura. I got it on April 14 2025 and May 30 2025 i tried to reset to factory reset and it wouldn't let me do. Cuz it got some type of virus. The only thing I've been looking at is YouTube and Netflix. I haven't done nothing else with this laptop. I shouldn't have no virus that's stopping me from factory reset. I very disappointed.

I want my money back Lenovo!
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I want my money back, the worst laptop I have ever owned. I had to exchange the first one for graphical glitches and now my $90 extended Lenovo warranty is not getting me anywhere to fix the motherboard on the second. You can read more here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Lenovo/comments/1ncyecm/psa_dont_buy_the_yoga_slim_7i/ In essence, I don’t want it repaired and I don't want it fixed, I want my money back so I can buy a different brand of computer. Solid performance, but open-box quirks
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked up the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition (Copilot+ PC, 15.3” 3K 120Hz Touchscreen, Intel Core Ultra 7, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Luna Gray) as an open-box deal. For the price, it’s a powerhouse—lightweight, sleek, and fast. The display is stunning with rich colors and smooth touch response, and the Copilot+ integration adds a nice productivity boost. However, I’m docking one star due to a flashing line on the display that appeared out of the box. It’s not a dealbreaker, but definitely something to be aware of if you're buying open-box. Otherwise, the laptop runs beautifully and handles creative workflows with ease.

Looks and feels good. Performs Great. Nice Laptop.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.***I ordered this laptop directly from Lenovo with 32GB of RAM*** The Specs - CPU - Intel Core Ultra 7 258V Processor (45+ TOPS NPU) Graphics - Intel Arc 140 RAM - 32 GB LPDDR5X-8533MHz Display - 15.3" 2.8K (2880 x 1800), IPS, Glare, Touch, HDR 400, 100%DCI-P3, 500 nits, 120Hz Storage - 1TB M.2 2242 NVMe PCIe 4.0 TLC (Single slot) Network Communications - WiFi 7(802.11be) 2x2 + Bluetooth 5.4 Battery - 70WHrs, 4-cell Li-Polymer Ports - Right Side - Camera Switch, Power button, USB-C (40gbs), USB-A (5gbs) Left Side - 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C (40gbs), HDMI 2.1 I really like that the Yoga Slim has USB-C ports on both sides of the laptop and that there is a toggle for switching off the camera. The Power button on the right side can lead to accidental presses but it wasn’t an issue for me. Weight and Power brick - The unit comes in at approximately 3.4lbs and once you add the power brick, total weight is approximately 4lbs. The power brick gives you approximately 9 ft 5 inches of freedom from a power source. The power brick itself looks and feels sort of cheap. The cords are not stiff and don't feel that durable. I love the fact that this laptop has a 65-watt charger. It means that it is easy to replace and use other chargers and cords that you may have laying around. First Impressions - The laptop itself was light and felt well built. Opening the laptop was not as easy as expected and does not fulfill a windows user dream for one handed opening. Two hands are needed. Picking it up feels nice in the hand and it has hardly any flex on the unit (screen, body, keyboard). It doesn't feel like an almost 16-inch laptop, in a good way. You get most of the benefits of the larger screen without the feeling that this laptop is big. That 15.3-inch screen looks awesome and displays vibrant colors and stunning images. The IPS screen sports a glossy finish which inherently does produce glares from other light sources, but it can reach a bright 500 nits to combat that. The panel is 120hz which will certainly please those fast scrolling users. This screen is a touch panel and can fold back 180 degrees. Keyboard and Trackpad - The keyboard pressing depth and resistance seems well balanced. The crisp, slightly springy and quiet functions of these keys please me and the typing experience is fantastic. The trackpad is responsive and feels great. Clicks come reasonably easy and offer a nice, refined clack sound. Scrolling just feels good with the trackpad. System Responsiveness - The laptop offers a smooth experience. During everyday tasks such as opening and using office documents, surfing zillow for a home, checking in on facebook, and opening a ton of tabs in a web browser for comparison shopping, the laptop is a pleasure to use. The Logins are a breeze with the windows hello sign in feature. I never noticed the system hanging or having to wait for the system to be ready to use it. It was always ready to go. Wi-Fi was ready to go as well. I did not notice having to wait for the Wi-Fi to be ready after logging in from sleep mode. Fans and Heat - This laptop is awesome when it comes to fans or heat. Even in the “under heavy load limit” scenario, the laptop is very bearable in terms of heat and noise, so anything on that spectrum is a “feel good” situation. You can hold your head high or even higher than your macbook peers with this laptop. Heat wise, you are looking at a high of around 84F while doing most tasks and a high of 33 decimals for fan noise in performance mode. To see the max noise and heat that could be generated, I opened about 8 browser tabs consisting of shopping and new sites, ran CPU-Z stress test, and booted up a sims like game called Kingdom and Castles on Steam in performance mode. Temps reached around 102F on the 7,8,9 keys. Main keyboard area did not go above 95F and the keys felt a tad warm, but I did not notice any radiating heat or air coming from the keyboard. The max fan noise was approximately 49 decimals. I was impressed with the game performance while stress testing the system. I noticed a glitch or two (brief pause or stutter) while playing the Kingdom and Castles game, but it was very playable and enjoyable. Web Camera - The quality is probably a little below average. The laptop does not appear to help enhance the image for you. You would definitely want to pay attention to angels and the light in the room in order to look your best. The audio quality is, I think, a little above average. The range that the speakers can produce seems to be pretty good. Battery - There was battery drain during sleep mode. I’d close the computer lid in the evening and come back in the morning and noticed about a 6%-8% loss. I ran basemark web 3.0 (80% brightness, using the balanced mode for an hour then performance mode for an hour then switching back to balanced mode for the rest of the test) and not altering any other system settings to get a feel about how long this machine could last in more demanding situations. From 100%, I got approximately 3hrs 20mins. This obviously is a much more draining task than just doing light web browsing, listening to music and some productivity tasks. Software - The Lenovo software I think is very good. They provide a Lenovo Vantage hub that gives you all the important information for your laptop in one place. You can view and make changes to the settings, find warranty support, ect. I like Lenovo’s minimalist approach regarding their software. It's informative and useful without having to find and piece together things. I also like that Lenovo has shortcuts (fn+q) for power modes. As this is an Intel machine you get to use Unision, which allows you to send and receive messages and notifications via your phone, even if it's an Apple phone. Lenovo also has a feature in which you tap your phone to the screen and it will sync photos. In conclusion - The overall impression is that this laptop is awesome and checks so many boxes for me. There isn’t much not to like. The size is great for a bigger screen laptop. The weight is nice and light. The screen is gorgeous, and you won't feel bad about not getting an OLED screen. Performance is great for most tasks, and you can easily snap into most games and have a great experience. Even under heavy load this laptop is very usable both in terms of the heat and the fan noise. You’ll be pleasantly surprised and it's a joy to use.

Yoga Slim Computer
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using this laptop for a few weeks now, and overall I’m really impressed. The performance is smooth—apps load quickly, and multitasking between work, streaming, and browsing is effortless. The screen is bright and clear, which makes both movies and work documents easy on the eyes. The keyboard feels comfortable to type on, and the trackpad is responsive. I also appreciate the battery life—it lasts me most of the day without needing to plug in, which is a big plus when I’m on the go. In short, it’s a reliable laptop that balances performance, design, and portability really well. I’d recommend it to students, professionals, or anyone looking for a solid everyday computer.

Great!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cool, quiet, and still snappy for most tasks. Battery life has a notable improvement from last Gen Intel, but not quite as good as Snapdragon X Elite. What is does do well is full app compatability, and great GPU performance. Very nice laptop. The screen is an unusual size of 15.3". I love it, as full 16" feels a bit cumbersome at times. Due to its 16:10 aspect, the actual screen area is slightly LARGER than the once popular 15.6" size. The screen quality is pretty darn good, but not as good as 7x slim's OLED. Keyboard is GREAT. Speakers are loud, albeit slightly muddy. Great port selection. Lightweight for it's size. It doesn't show fingerprints as bad as it's Snapdragon cousin, the 7x slim. Performance is solid, but NOT a powerhouse. It's strength is battery life and good GPU. If your workloads aren't demanding and you game casually it's absolutely perfect. The Webcam is a disappointment. It's not a deal breaker for me, but I expect better in 2024. Battery saver (max charge 80%) would be a welcome feature and I do hope they add this in an update!

Efficient x86 laptop but not without flaws
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This machine is overall great, if you are looking for a large screened laptop with snappy performance, long battery life, and just an overall premium feel, this should be on your list. It has a very efficient processor and feels very cool in operation despite it being an x86 one, so it does not suffer from any of the application compatibility issues as the Snapdragon chips. The look of this laptop is sleek and modern. The only complaints I have about the design are the keyboard and touchpad. The touchpad could be a bit larger to appear more modern, as the "bezels" around the touchpad are somewhat thick. It is plenty big enough for usability, so increasing the size of this touchpad would be purely for visual appeal. Similarly, the keyboard key shape and font make it look too much like a chromebook, IMO. This is a completely personal opinion though. The screen is great. High resolution, very bright (500 nits+), 120hz, and touch. It isn't an OLED, but honestly I didn't miss the OLED on my previous laptop all that much when switching. This is a good IPS panel, and TBH most people just don't need an OLED for a general use laptop. If you are a content/movie junkie, maybe, but even so this screen looks good for that. Because it is not OLED, that helps with PWM flickering (if you are sensitive to that), prevents burn-in, and allows it to be more power efficient and brighter. Overall I wouldn't change the screen for an OLED one, this is great as is. The only complaint is that being a glossy panel, you see a lot of reflections. I would trade that for a good touch experience though, which this laptop has. The build of the machine is good. Not the best I have ever used, but great. (That award goes to the ThinkPad X13 G3.) The hinges feel solid, and the construction is an aluminum and (magnesium?) hybrid. The outside is a thin-ish cover of well made aluminum, while there is an internal reinforcement of what I think is magnesium. Could be aluminum too though. This internal cage is actually visible around the USB-A and HDMI ports. Overall this gives the machine excellent rigidity and stability. The screen panel is also made of aluminum and glass, no complaints there. Thin and well built. Where the build faulters though is in the hinge. It occasionally creaks/cracks when left alone for a while. Not a huge deal but something to note. Overall, while the build is not as cohesive and premium as a Dell XPS or MacBook, it gets about 90% the way there. The input devices are great. The keyboard is lovely, with a very deep 1.5mm key travel by today's standards. While it takes a bit more force to actuate than I would like, it is still a joy to type on. The face of the keys is a bit smoother than I would like, but their concave shape makes up for this. The touchpad is also good. While not a haptic unit, it is still very accurate and feels very nice to use due to it's large, glass construction. The click mechanism is thankfully deeper sounding than the Slim 7x, but can have a bit of a "cheaper" sound to it depending on where it is pressed. This is really a nitpick though, and the touchpad is overall great to use. Performance is also a high point. These Lunar Lake processors are simply awesome for general every day use. While they may not have great multi core performance, it is good enough for 99% of people. Single core performance is amazing and makes the machine feel snappy. Similarly, the integrated GPU is literally the best in the game right now and can run games well. I played World of Tanks at 1200p, Low/Med settings and it was locked in at 120fps+. Even bumping it up to ultra settings was playable. During use, the machine hardly ever gets warm to the touch when doing normal tasks. The fan turns on more than I would like, but it is very very quiet. You won't hear it unless you are doing something like gaming. 16GB RAM and a 1TB SSD are plenty enough for general users even in 2025. I would have liked 32GB of RAM, but for what I do on this machine it would have gone to waste IMO. Battery life is also good. Not quite what I was hoping for, but after a clean install of Windows I would get around 10hrs in general use. Plenty for a work day or school day. Overall, this is a great machine. It is good for casual users, light gamers, and especially students. The large display, good battery life, and excellent input devices make it a great option for nearly everyone.

One of the best all around laptops
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't know what all of the negative reviews are about., It seem some people feel they just must have something to complain about, like the trackpad, which works fine, I cannot tell it from a hiptic trackpad from its operation. The screen is not oled but an awesome screen nevertheless, with color accuracy. It stays cool under heavy load, and perfoms just about as well on battery than when plugged in. and the keyboard is one of the best of any laptop; I have used. The speaker are top; notch. Ok so it does not open with one hand and the power button on the side, all minor annoyances as far as I am concerned. The only thing I would say as a sore point, is the color. I don't know why Lenovo continues to come out with these bland colors. I put an attractive skin on it. And oh I forgot, the battery life is exceptional. What else do you want?

Good laptop held back by it's trackpad...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very good laptop. Overall it has awesome performance, great display, awesome keyboard, pretty good ports, and great battery life. The main thing holding it back is the trackpad... It's pretty bad. The click is cheap and loud, and sounds like something from 10 years ago. It's a crime that you can but a laptop for around $1000 that has a mechanical cheap trackpad. That's what you use to control a "laptop" more than half the time, it needs to be good! Honestly, all trackpads NEED to be haptic at this point. No excuses! However, if you don't care about the trackpad, everything else about this is great.

Solid - One of the best laptops
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned various models of Yoga laptops over the years, and the Slim 7i Aura is definitely one of the best with good screen, design, sound, keyboard, and lasting battery. I can easily get over 10+ hours on light use (no games). While it is a really good laptop there are a couple of opportunities that could make this laptop even better. First, the screen only opens to 180 degrees which should not earn the title of "yoga" since it can't do tent or tablet mode. There is no camera cover although a camera switch is available on the side of the laptop to toggle the camera on/off; however, the switch is difficult to toggle if one doesn't have long finger nails. Power button is on the side which could accidentally power on the laptop. Overall the Slim 7i Aura is a solid choice, and I'm happy with it.

Yoga Aura and Best Buy is Wonderful
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Stunning! Grabbed this Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition from Best Buy, and it's the ultimate Copilot+ PC for on-the-go pros and creators. The Intel Core Ultra 7 processor with NPU crushes AI tasks like photo editing in Lightroom or real-time video calls with noise suppression—paired with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD, multitasking feels effortless, from Chrome tabs galore to 4K video renders. That 15.3” 3K 120Hz touchscreen is a dream: razor-sharp visuals, silky smooth scrolling, and vibrant colors (100% sRGB) make binge-watching Netflix or sketching in OneNote pure bliss. At under 3 lbs with up to 20+ hours of battery, it's my new travel companion—slim Luna Gray chassis oozes premium vibes with that signature Yoga hinge for tent mode.Best Buy made it seamless: competitive pricing, free 2-day shipping, and their experts demoed Copilot features in-store. Geek Squad setup was a breeze, plus I earned elite My Best Buy status points. If you're upgrading to AI-powered elegance, snag this Lenovo gem at Best Buy—refined, responsive, revolutionary. Fingers crossed for that review prize! Thanks, Lenovo and Best Buy!
