I was weary of buying a new, portable mouse for my Surface Pro 4 after having used the Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse for so long. I had become accustomed to its flat, travel friendly design with the ability to pop up and curve like a normal mouse when I was actually using it. Unfortunately I lost my mouse when I moved I was on the hunt for a new one. It had to have good battery life, be rechargeable as I was tired of always carrying around batteries, offer a flat design when not being used, and work over Bluetooth so that I wouldn't have to sacrifice a USB port just to have a mouse. I had looked at getting another Arc Touch Mouse but grew tired of always making sure I had at least two AAA batteries around just in case it died. I had looked, and looked, and looked. I was about to give up and go back to the Touch Mouse but then I discovered the Lenovo Yoga Mouse. This is by far one of the best portable mice I have ever used. The tracking works on almost any surface, I've even been able to get it to work on black glass. The bottom half twists around so that it stores flat when I'm not using it and then twists back so that the mouse has a concave angle making it easy to grip and use. There are two black, plastic bars underneath the mouse that provide smooth movement without the need for a mouse pad. There is a touch-sensitive scroll bar in the middle of the mouse but it does not offer tactile feedback like the Arc Touch Mouse. It still works rather nicely and smoothly scrolls but it would have been nice to have feedback when scrolling. The Windows button is easy to press as are the left and right-click buttons. Lenovo added a bonus with this mouse: you can use it to control media and/or presentations when the mouse is flat. There are backlight touch buttons that appear when the mouse is folded flat while still powered on. These work in PowerPoint and you can control music playback in Groove and iTunes. It doesn't work for web-based media playback (like Google Music or YouTube) but you can still adjust the volume of your PC using the mouse. I was able to give a presentation at work with my PC and I used the mouse as a remote to click through my slides. It would have been nice if Lenovo included a laser pointer built into the mouse but that's a minor complaint. If you are on the market for a new, portable mouse and your budget allows (I spent $34 on mine from Best Buy), I highly recommend the Lenovo Yoga Mouse. It comes in four colors (black, silver, gold, and orange) but I think Best Buy only offers black, silver, and gold. That's OK though, the orange one is rather hideous looking. Lenovo nailed the design of this mouse. It's comfortable to use and it only takes a few hours to charge, something that has to be done about once a month. Not bad at all for a Bluetooth mouse of this size.

Nice upgrade from the Microsoft Arc Mouse!

I've had a Microsoft Arc Mouse for about 2 years. It's not been a bad mouse, but often the scroll strip would quit working. I would turn it off and on, and it would resume. It wasn't the most comfortable mouse, but it folded flat in my small case. Recently, the strip quit unless I pressed hard: hardware failure. Apparently common on the Arc Mouse, so I didn't want to go back to it. The nice Logitech travel mice work and feel great, but they're just too stinking thick. You need a big bag, or put up with a big bulge and probable damage in a small bag. Doing my research, I came across the Lenovo mouse. It had some great reviews, so I picked one up. Being Best Buy, I could return it if it didn't work for me, then get something else. It was a terrific choice. It's fast, accurate, and connects quickly and easily. So, given that I was comparing it to the Arc Mouse, what are the advantages? - More comfortable (at least to me) - Built-in chargeable battery (through USB). - Bluetooth OR standard wireless (usb connector is inside the mouse) (helps with multiple computers, although the mouse can pair in Bluetooth with multiple computers, I'm told) (also helps on non-Bluetooth computers) - If you turn it flat, but leave it on, it has two remote control functions: one for Powerpoint presentations (though no laser pointer), and another setup for music. It works very well. -At regular price, it's $10 cheaper than the MS mouse (at the time of this writing, Best Buy has it on sale for $49, $30 cheaper). So what are the disadvantages? - With the Arc Mouse, turning it flat turns it off; with this mouse you have to push a button to turn it off. It's a necessary requirement since the remote function works in flat mode. - With the Arc Mouse, there was audio and tactile feedback when you scrolled. I don't much miss it, but some might. -No scroll coasting. With the Arc Mouse, if you flicked your finger up or down the scroll strip, it would "coast" past, like a real scroll wheel. Lenovo's just stops. After a week, I'm used to it, and there's still the option of clicking the scroll and using mouse movements to do a lot of scrolling. Overall, if the price were the same, I'd still prefer the Lenovo with its additional features, better feel, and multiple connectivity options. $10 cheaper makes it even nicer. Right now, when it's on sale, it's a no-brainer.

I love the concept of this! It's a wireless mouse + presentation assistance device all in ONE! The fact that it does not have to be connected by Bluetooth and uses wireless instead is great also, as my Lenovo only has one very precious USB port! It's a good size, can fold flat for easy transport in with your laptop basically w just a protective cover or very small pocket of a briefcase (us ladies can even throw it in our purses!), and it is even micro-usb rechargeable! Now the few downsides I've found... The mouse part is a bit tricky to use at times, as you really do almost need a flat surface and even a mouse pad I have found for myself to be most successful with it. Also, I have had major issues getting it to pair and STAY paired with my Lenovo Yoga 720 laptop (beyond frustrating when trying to write a last minute term paper! I know it's not the mouse's fault that I sometimes wait until the night before stuff is due, but they DO go together and should be able to JAM when you gotta hit it hard!) If the connectivity could somehow be better stabilized at least for the Lenovo brand computers it's made for specifically was improved, the sensor was more versatile somehow (or if there was a better/easy way to make it more user friendly on non-traditional surfaces), and changing from presenter to mouse didn't feel like I might accidentally break it if I move it wrong.... I'd prob go more towards a 5 star rating! Also, a minor thing.... the "scroll 'touch'" vs a wheel was a cool idea, but often gets messed up and seems upside down and doesn't work the best. Overall, this is a great product tho! You just gotta be a TAD patient at first to figure it out / work with it, and you'll have a great addition to increase your on the go productivity!

After purchasing a Lenovo Yoga 720 laptop, I decided I wanted a slim wireless mouse that would fit in my laptop sleeve for easy transport. At first I balked at the idea of spending $50+ on a wireless mouse after already spending over a thousand dollars on a new laptop. However, I noticed that the silver version of the Lenovo Yoga mouse was on sale at Best Buy (unavailable almost anywhere else from what I could find) and decided to order it, with the full intention of returning it if I wasn't impressed. As many reviewers have already said, this mouse is incredible. My first impression was that it was LIGHT - I haven't weighed it, but I would imagine it is just a few ounces. The design is sleek and matches the aluminum casing on my Lenovo Yoga laptop, which wasn't necessary but great nonetheless. The mouse can be twisted in two orientations - one with the arc that allows for normal use, and a flat mode after a simple twist of the bottom half of the mouse. This activates touch-sensitive buttons on the back of the mouse that allows you to control audio and presentations wirelessly. I really like this feature and already see myself hooking my computer up to my home sound system and using the mouse as a remote from across the room. I've also noticed that this mouse has a highly sensitive sensor and can be used on most any surface. I'm currently using it on a couch cushion and it is as receptive as if it were on a desk with a mouse pad. I'm really happy with this purchase, and the fact it was on sale makes it even easier to recommend.

I bought a Lenovo - YOGA Wireless Optical Mouse - Silver Model: YOGA MOUSE-SILVER - GX30K69568 SKU:5624468 on 5/17/18. Today is 5/22/19 and the receiver/USB chip broke today. I paid $52.99 for this product on my Best Buy Credit Card statement. This is a terrible product. I am disgusted that I paid that much for a mouse that lasted 1 year and 5 days. Lenovo customer service is no help since they warranty the product for 15 days. I am now using the $10 logitech mouse I bought 3 years ago. As far as ergonomics go, it was only 3 stars for comfort anyway.

We are sorry to hear that the USB receiver no longer functions for your Lenovo YOGA Wireless Mouse. Your YOGA Mouse is also Bluetooth 4.0 capable. If the computer you are using the mouse with has Bluetooth capability, you can connect your YOGA Wireless Mouse via Bluetooth. I will be honest, I purchased this based on design as an impulse buy when I purchased my new Lenovo computer. After struggling to get the cover back on it for an hour (cheap bendable plastic clip that holds it in place). It is not comfortable in your hand when using it. When it is in mouse mode, it's in a triangle shape, giving it 2 points of contact instead of a flat bottom like your average mouse. It works fine on a smooth surface, but if you have any ridges on your table top, the mouse will drive you crazy. Also, I can get 2 hours of use out of the mouse with one charge, not 2 months as advertised. It does make a cool remote control for your computer though, and it is slim and easy to carry with. Lets just say I have 2 options for a mouse with me at all times.

This is really a great mouse. It folds flat for storage in a computer bag and then swivels around to make an easy to hold. It is even a decent presentation controller when used flat. It can be connected with both blue tooth and the micro USB dongle that stores in the mouse. I am a real Logitech mouse fan, and I'm afraid that with all above said it just doesn't have the feel and finesse of a Logitech, but then Logitech doesn't make a mouse that would compete directly with this mouse. When in mouse mode it has four tiny glide contact points that make it slide a little too easily. It does track accurately on almost any surface though. It is possibly a tad too expensive too. I've given this mouse four stars for the above comments but I don't regret buying this mouse at all.

The reviews and specs don't mention the the reason why the pictures look as though they are advertising 2 different lenovo mouse but it's actually a 2-in-1 kind of mouse. One side is your usual mouse and the other is like a remote. They call it "Presenter/ Media Controls". Media has your usual remote buttons, volume, back, forward, pause and play. Presenter has slightly different buttons but Frankly, I haven't tried it. I assume it's for Powerspoint presentations. The only thing I do not like is the media control does not work for Netflix, which would be a 5* for me.

The only thing cool about this mouse is the way it looks. You won't get nowhere near a month worth of use for a fully charged battery. It doesn't even show you how much battery life you have left, and you can't charge it and use it at the same time, so you must keep a backup mouse with you at all times. Be prepared to charge it weekly if you try and use it daily for work. For the high end price tag it's a complete failure. The battery life on my logitech lasts a minimum of 6 months and is half the price. The logitech may take double AA batteries, but at least it's reliable, as the Yoga is not!

I bought this to use with my Lenovo yoga 920 laptop. I like having the choice to be able to use Bluetooth or wireless connection. I also like being able to pause, play, and change the volume on Netflix and crunchyroll on my computer. Although not all of the special buttons work with these, I have not tried using the music player on my laptop with the mouse. The wireless option works better than the Bluetooth on my computer but over all it still works good. Over all I chose his mouse for being compact and good for travel. I think the price is high but it works for what I need it to do.

The last time I got really excited about a mouse was when I got my first wireless one. I thought that was so great. But now there's reason to get all excited again. You have to appreciate the technology that allows this super thin and aerodynamic hunk of metal to rotate into a really comfortable optical mouse or a presentation assistant when you keep it flat. The bluetooth pairing is effortless as it should be. It is rechargeable using a standard micro USB cable but I've only had to charge it once. It seems to run on air power alone. That's another plus for me.

Great Features, Not Comfy To Use

This mouse caught my eye because of the aluminum finish and the cool feature of being able to use it as a remote! But after a while using this mouse, I realize it is the most uncomfortable mouse I've ever used. The mouse is just not ergonomic at all and my hand cramps up very often because of it. I guess if you'd use it as a remote more often for presentations and stuff, this mouse would be great for you. But for me who is in college and spends hours on my laptop at a time, this mouse is very uncomfortable to use. I wish I had bought the Logitech MX Master Mouse instead.

This is a great mouse for travel on the go. But, we tend to use it all the time, even though the ergonomics are not as nice as with my desktop machine's gaming mouse. The Bluetooth works well, so we don't need the USB receiver that is tucked away inside the mouse. Also, it does twist and fold flat nicely and can be used well with powerpoint type presentations this way. Also, we've owned it over a month, and have not had to charge it yet -- so, battery life is very impressive (as, I said, my Hamster eats much more -- joke).

I travel several weeks out of the months and was looking for a good mouse that was easy to slip into the backpack. This one is hands-down the most sleek with it's swivel "folding" design. In the flat orientation, it is only about a half inch thick an easily slips in an accessory pocket in my bag. The media remote functionality is also a really nice touch. I would give this five stars, but ergonomically, this is not the most comfortable mouse to use for extended periods. That's not why you buy this mouse, though. You buy it for the portability..

I really like the idea of this mouse. I don’t have to do a lot of presentations but I like the idea having the option to control the slides wireless when needed. I’ve even shared it with others to use. What I really like is that this mouse is both Bluetooth and wireless with adapter. Very versatile but the negative that gives it only three stars is how inconsistent it is on turning on. I can’t ever seem to get it to turn on and stay. I even downloaded the guide and still struggle.

I bought this as a mouse to be compatible with my yoga 900 from Lenovo. The style match the computer perfectly and I did like the unique two and one mouse plus remote (don't know what to call them it but it works kind of like a remote for slideshows) but that is where the benefits to be stopped. It had very little function and acted poorly as a mouse and very hard to use as a mouse. If you have to have a mouse that matches your Lenovo notebook by all means buy it, don't expect it to be a mouse that's easy to work with.

I got this mouse as an upgrade to the N700. I do miss the laser pointer of the N700, but the tendency to use screens instead of projectors makes a laser pointer impractical. The new mouse is also nice since is is thinner and now has a battery that can be recharged via micro USB. All in all, a good upgrade. I have to say I got tired of waiting for an arc touch 2 from Microsoft. At least Lenovo listens to its customers.

I love all of the features of this mouse, although i wish it would have the ability for me to change what the buttons do in windows settings. The other drawback i see is that the material it is made from feels like it may crack if not carefully stored in my bag (ie, if i do not place it in a padded pocket, i fear it will break if my bag bounces off of a wall. I bought mine on sale and feel like it was worth $40, but i would not want to spend any more on it.

I'm a public speaker and I travel a lot, so this is a great mouse as far as portability. I don't need to carry additional batteries. The Bluetooth connects as soon as I turn on my laptop; then I can use it as a mouse and/or to drive my powerpoint slides or to control my media (i.e. audio). The downside is that it takes a while to get used to the scroll mouse; since there is no scroll wheel as such. Otherwise a thumbs up for me.
