Wow, this lock is so convenient! no more fumbling for my keys to open the door. My husband installed this lock in about 20 minutes with ease. Instructions are easy to follow. The lock has many great features that we are learning to use. Being able to lock and unlock our door from anywhere is awesome! We can let friends/family in and view live activity feed on the app. The app allows you know the status of your lock at anytime. We have not used the control with our Alexa or Apple Home but hope to learn how soon. Using our Iphone or apple watch to unlock the door is so helpful when your hands are full. The lock comes with a keypad that you can discretely hid so there is no sign of technology on the inside or outside of your home! The convenient key code access can be used the included keypad - making it great for contractors/cleaners/etc. A CR2 battery is included and can easily be replaced when needed. This has been a great upgrade for our home and one that we didn't know we would love so much!

My review is for the Level Lock+ Connect with Keypad Smart Lock Bluetooth/Wi-Fi Replacement Deadbolt with App / Keypad / Key Access in the Satin Nickel finish. Let me start by saying the lock is exquisitely made as if it were a high-quality watch. Everything from the door plates to the internal locking mechanism have a very clean look and design, even though the lock itself will be hidden away internally inside the door. The initial installation was a bit intimidating as instructions are a little spartan. Fortunately, I have installed enough door handles and deadbolts to know what to do and the actual physical installation went smoothly once I matched up plates and screws to replace the old deadbolt. Since door plates vary in size, I might eventually need to fill in areas left exposed by the new plate with some wood putty and touchup paint. After installation, I placed the old deadbolt parts and keys into a plastic baggie to save in the event we move so that I can take the Level lock with me and reinstall the old lock. Once installed, I was quickly amazed at how many ways there are now to lock/unlock our front door. Included in the kit is a numeric key pad to mount outside near the door, two key cards for keyless entry, and last but not least, access by Level’s smartphone app. With the included WiFi device, you can access your front door from anywhere you have cell phone coverage and you can even use Amazon’s Alexa or Google Home to operate the lock with voice commands. We use Alexa and for example, I can ask Alexa if the door is locked or unlocked from anywhere I have an Alexa device. For those family members nervous about new technology or don’t have a smartphone, there are two standard keys that will work even when all else fails. I probably will never use the key cards, since if someone steals my wallet, they will have the card to enter and have my address from my driver’s license. I suppose I could give these to family members instead of making new keys or having them install another app on their phone. The smartphone app on my Apple iPhone is simple and straightforward to set up and use. You can invite family members to have door lock access and this can be set up either permanently or for temporary use, accessing them from your phone’s Contact list. The app also keeps track of all lock activity so you have a complete history of when the lock was used and who used it. You can even set up routines to automatically lock or unlock the door upon leaving or arriving home. Level gives you complete control and you can customize the lock to meet your security needs, even if they change over time. Never again will I have to worry about wondering if I forgot to lock the front door.

Best Door Lock On The Market Today

I was quite excited to receive the Level Lock + Connect package and immediately opened and unboxed everything when it arrived. I ordered the unit in black and it looks great on my front door which had an oiled bronze lock and handle on it previously. I had wanted a digital door lock but not found one anything close to what Level Lock does! The Level Lock + Connect includes everything you need to install it except for a philips screw driver and possibly a chisel if you need to widen the door strike plate hole. Included are the lock, battery powered electric motor, connect plug, 2 metal keys, 2 key cards, digital keypad opener, 2 batteries for door lock and keypad. Installation was a breeze once I removed my old deadbolt and door lock and took around 5 minutes to install the new locking mechanism and dead bolt. Once installed, inserting the door lock battery after plugging in the connect plug produced a friendly chirp to indicate it was connected and ready to program using the Level Lock application I'd downloaded to my smartphone. I use an iPhone and it was a simple download and set up. You must create an account that includes a bit of personal information including your name, home address, and a few other items. I phoned Level Lock's customer support number to help me program the key cards and they were very responsive and helpfull staying on the line while I installed the keypad and connected it to the system. They are available 7 days a week and provide a 2 year warranty on the lock and attachments. Note that the keypad is waterproof but made of white plastic with dark keypad numbers and does not look that great against a dark door frame. I wish it matched the black lock and door cover. The Level Lock + Connect is the most complete digital/electronic lock currently on the market. It is very well designed and built, has the most features on the market with customer support that is one of the best I've experienced.

The Level Lock+ seemed like an eventuality. After all, they were going to figure out at some point that they could hide parts of the lock in places. Who knew the battery would work well in the deadbolt though? Level did. I'll start by saying that this lock requires some precision. That rattly door at the cabin that you have to push on with your knee while you work the deadbolt? That's not the one you want to install the Level Lock+ on. Because of the lower power being provided by a CR2 battery, the level lock seems to have a little less locking/unlocking/deadbolt power that other locks. In my past experience with other locks, there is only one other company that had more consistent locks/unlocks with less failures, and those guys (Yale) don't make ANYTHING this small. If you're into the idea of a smart home, but the aesthetics are still important to you, then the Level Lock+ is the only thing on the market as far as that's concerned. While there are a few issues that I would expect from a company/product that is just blowing up, like some minor picking/security issues and the occasional missed locking cycle, I've decided I can live with it. The Connect and Keypad are both attempts to bring some of the features that others have noted were missing from the first versions of the Lock+ but giving you the ability to have codes instead of NFC keys, and also allowing you to remotely lock/unlock or "monitor" over the internet via wifi. I say "monitor" because the Lock+ doesn't have a door sensor, so it could be registering as locked, and be swinging in the wind. I'm hoping this is remedied in the future along with Matter compatibility, which I believe they're headed towards and hopefully it's all software upgrades instead of hardware ones.

I had fun using this smart doorbell. It was pretty much easy to set up just like any other deadbolt you put on the door. With some setup through an app. It was really easy to work with. I have no complaints and this is definitely a five-star product before I go into detail. If you know how to put a deadbolt on set up, shouldn’t take you no more than 15 to 30 minutes. Everything was standard and he gave you physical keys which are devices. It looks like any standard deadbolt, especially in this color silver. My favorite part about this smart lock is that it gives you two key cards that you can tap on to the lock to let yourself in. This allows you the give cards to guess who would want one physically like a credit card. It was fine just tapping the door and letting yourself in without a hassle. I like using this because when you have a bunch of groceries in your hand, it’s nice to just tap to get into your home. The app is pretty standard but above all It allows you to give keys to guests through the phone as well. Just use the wallet app on iOS! I love this this is perfect for giving and revoking key privileges. It comes with a keypad so you can enter a code on your own if you forget any of your keys to your home/condo/apartment. I can see this feature being useful in my case. Oh, and you can use your Apple Watch. I don’t see any issues with this product and he took care of all safeguards. Giving you multiple ways to get into your home. It’s just easier to use this device and I love it wholeheartedly. One of the most useful devices I own and enjoy. I think what makes this stand-out home product is just how easy it is. Letting nothing get in the way. It works with Alexa and Siri. Nice product.

The Level - Lock+ Connect with Keypad Smart Lock Bluetooth/Wi-Fi Replacement Deadbolt is great for those looking for a solid smart lock. The packaging is very well laid out and everything is labeled which makes the install process rather easy. I only ran into a few small hiccups when setting up the lock through the smartphone app, but overall it was fairly simple. The smart lock and the connect device both required a firmware update, which added to the length of time it took to install the lock. The lock is made of sturdy and solid materials and it was easy to install on my door. I wanted to install it on my Double French Doors, but the doors require a traditional latch. The latch on this deadbolt has a round cylinder type battery inside of it, therefore the latch is round. I was not able to use it on my Double French Door. I had to use it instead on a single door, in which I could cut use the round latch plate to accommodate the round latch. The connect device allows me to connect to my home’s WiFi network, which gives me the ability to connect to the smart lock remotely. The touch keypad is a nice feature that allows you to use a code to lock and unlock the smart lock. You can also share and assign codes to other people. The numbers on the touch pad are very responsive and light up when you press each number. I just wish each press would make an audible sound to let me know my key input was recognized. The smart lock also comes with 2 key cards that were easy to program, and it also comes with 2 standard keys. Overall, I’m impressed with what this smart lock has to offer.

The level Lock+ Connect with keypad Smart Lock Bluetooth/Wifi is a great lock for your house. Overview: The lock is a quality built lock. Deadlock was very easy to install with the videos for support installation and step by step instructions. I was able to install the lock in a matter of minutes. hardware - Quality built lock. Heavy duty. I was very impressed on the way the product was boxed and packaged. It took a matter of seconds to unbox and verify all parts were in the box. I installed the lock first and then downloaded the app. App - Easy to download and install. The step by step to connect to the installed lock was very simple. Took just a few seconds to install. I then added the cards to lock and unlock the level lock within a few secons. I held the cards next to my iPhone and it found the cards quickly. I then tested the cards and was able to unlock and then lock the door. Keypad - I installed the keypad when we are on vacation, I can give this to the house sitter to get into the house. All in One Smart Lock Kit

I picked up this kit to replace an older, regular lock. I have the Level Lock Touch version on another exterior door, and I really liked the Homekit integration, and I wanted the next smart lock I got to support Homekit and support Apple digital keys. This kit checked all the boxes for me. If you've ever installed a Level Lock before, then this will be pretty straightforward, and the documents with the kit do a good job of walking you through the install. Honestly, all you need is a screwdriver set with both philips and flathead bits, and you'll be golden. This is one of those tasks that doesn't require you to be as handy as you'd think. In the box, you get the Level Lock +, wireless keypad, and the WiFi adapter. Honestly, I didn't need the WiFi connector. That's only required if you want to pair your Level Lock+ with Google Home or Amazon Alexa. The lock and keypad work with Apple's Homekit right out of the box. I had this thing installed, paired with my Homekit setup, codes assigned for my wife and kids, and a pass for us all in our Apple Wallets in less than 30 minutes, and most of that was spent taking off the older, original lock. I found the digital key in Apple Wallet to be a bit finicky, you basically have to have the top of the phone directly over the lock for it to register, the NFC field isn't that far. The part of the set up that took the most time was getting the keypad and lock to register with eachother and then the subsiquent firmware update. It's a curse and a blessing... I want the thing to work right out of the box, but I also appreciate a company that pushes out frequent updates. There's also 2 Level Keycards and 2 standard, pre-cut keys in the kit, which is nice because even if the Level Lock+ can't connect, or the battery is dead, you can still physically unlock the door with the key. If you're an Apple Homekit user and you want a nice set up for a smart lock, this kit has everything you need.

The best and most complete smart lock I have used

Level lock is offering something unique in the smart lock world simply by not looking like any of the other options on the market. This kit is more focused on aesthetics than what you may have grown used to. While it does include a keypad for coded entry for your lock, the keypad is not integrated into the lock cylinder, leaving you with a traditional looking lock. The installation is easy just like any other lock but I did encounter with installing it on my door. The level lock kit includes some fairly thick strike plates, including the one that the lock cylinder is integrated in. In my case I had to chisel out the door and door trim to accommodate the thicker strike plates. A little more work and time than expected but once installed it looks and works fantastic. The lock itself seemed robust when installing, I didn't feel like trying to kick my door down to test its abilities and hopefully no one else will test it for me either, but like I mentioned above the strike plates were about twice as thick as the Schlage lock it replaced. This kit includes keys, key cards, and the external keypad as entry options in addition to being able to use the level app to unlock the door remotely. There is also the option to add your home key to your apple device for access using NFC similar to how apple pay works. You can invite friends, family, and whoever else you actually trust these days through the level app to provide customized access which will allow you to see who in your group locked or unlocked your door and at what time. Within the level app you can also grant temporary access passes that will expire and become non functional after a specific time/date that you set. Lastly it includes two normal keys that you can use, I did not experiment with trying to re-key this lock as it was not mentioned in the instructions so I would assume you would ideally re-key your other non-smart locks if you prefer to continue using a traditional metal key. There is even touch control options on the outer bezel for locking and unlocking once installed. Overall this lock offers and includes more entry authentication options than any other kit on the market that I am aware of. With the inclusion of their "level connect" wifi plug this also integrates with all three of the main stream "home assistants" Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Apple homekit. It can also be integrated with Ring alarm systems and routines. Having this be a separate unit allows the battery life for the lock itself to last much longer as it is not consuming any battery power. The only drawback to this set-up is that you must have an electrical plug within range of your lock for the Level connect system to function. The lock itself runs off one battery, unfortunately not a standard AAA or AA size, that installs in the deadbolt. If remote access and control of your home is important but you dont want to sacrifice aesthetics with your existing hardware I would strongly encourage you to check out what Level Lock has to offer.

OMG I cannot recommend this enough. At first i was a little overwhelmed with the installation of the lock and the setup but as long as you follow the directions you will have no problems. You will need some tools to remove the old lock and reinstall the new one but it ended up being easier than i thought it was going to be. I am telling you this locking system is awesome. I live in the city limits and not in a high crime rate area or anything like that but wow i love having this. Now just to give you a little background im a single father and my kids are all grown up youngest being 20 years old. Now with my old lock on the door i had to go make several keys for my two kids who do not live with me and one for my daughter and her boyfriend who do live with me. So for starters you have keys floating around to the door that stops people from getting in your house and if by chance one gets lost who knows who has it. So with this system all my kids not have a key to the house on there phone and can remotely open the door to get in without a physical key and if they get to the house and forget there phone no worries there is an included keypad to enter the door code manly to get into the house. So now the only people with a key to my house i know are the only ones with a key. Also say you live in a bad neighborhood or you get home and its -20 below and you have groceries you have to carry in the house, who wants to be fumbling with a set of keys to get into there own house ? Not me and neither should you. Now you don't have to just click the open button on your phone and walk rite into your house with your groceries or kids in your arms or trying to get into the house in a hurry because you see someone standing on your sidewalk you think wants to do you harm. No more scarry movie moments were your trying to open that door and you drop your keys, nope now you walk rite into your house and lock the door. I could not be happier with the locking system, it has been the best item i have gotten for my house in a very long time.

A Smart Lock That's as Convenient as it is Secure

I've been using the Level Lock+ Connect with Keypad for a few weeks now, and I'm totally obsessed. It's made my life so much easier, and it's actually pretty fun to use. One of the best things about the Level Lock+ is that I never have to worry about my keys again. I can just tap my iPhone on my door to unlock it, and I'm good to go. This is especially helpful when I'm carrying groceries or other stuff in my hands. It also works with Google and Alexa! I also love that I can give guests access to my home without having to give them a physical key. This is great for when I'm expecting visitors but I'm not going to be home to greet them myself. I can just create a unique code for each guest and send it to them in a text message. The Level Lock+ is also super secure. It has all sorts of fancy security features to protect my home, like tamper detection and strong encryption. I can even require dual authentication for locking and unlocking my door, which means that I need to enter my key code and authenticate with my phone in order to lock or unlock my door. Overall, I'm super impressed with the Level Lock+ Connect with Keypad. It's a convenient, secure, and fun smart lock that I would highly recommend to anyone. If you're thinking about getting a smart lock, the Level Lock+ Connect with Keypad is definitely the one to get. It's the best smart lock I've ever used, and it's worth every penny.

The Level Lock+ Connect with Keypad is an amazing smart lock with multiple methods for unlocking. The best thing about the Level Lock is the fact that it looks like any other lock on the inside and outside of the door! This specific version of the Level Lock+ includes the keypad if you still want to have a way into your house without sharing keys or giving someone a digital key. I decided to install it without this as I really like the fact that this lock blends in and looks like a normal lock and adding a keypad detracts from that in my opinion, but it is a great addition for people who need it. The Level Lock+ integrates with all the major home platforms, Apple, Android, and Alexa which allows you to use your platform of choice to add the lock to your house. With NFC keys, physical keys, and the added keypad you have multiple options for people to get into your house. You also have the ability to add temporary keys with time and date expirations for people using either their phone or using the keypad. This is a great ability and makes it so that you don’t have to share an actual key with anyone and can grant and revoke access for people as needed. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a smart lock, and I would recommend this even if you are looking for a regular lock because I think the added functionality makes this a great purchase.

My review of all parties involved is following. Product review: Poor engineering is the key problem for this device. The main concern is the battery life in 20 days it drained 2 batteries ($14 value) and stopped working without any notification that the battery needs to be replaced soon. It's not worth the price for sure, too expensive to maintain and keep it functional. It is also glitchy around 20% of the time trying to open it with Apple watch and iPhone Store review: Best Buy didn't want to accept a return as I kept it for 20 days (policy allows 15 days), but I tried to see if the original battery was discharged and gave it a second one, so I ended up going to Best Buy plus membership for $ 50 to be able to return this lock. You guys should be happy that your customers are trying to keep the items you sell to make them work and not return to you. But I got $50 subscription and no mercy from Best Buy, so you have to review your policies guys. Level review: I was advised by Best Buy to call Level support - a useless thing to do. They just collected info and refused to accept a return (their original return policy allows 30 days, but it is not a path through, so Best Buy gives you half a period the manufacturer provides?? questionable) Level support asked to take photos of the lock installed on the door to get help, I had it taken off to return, reinstalling it to the door to get support is a time-wasting joke... It's your product, no matter if it is installed or not you guys have to support your customers and maintain your warranty.

Call me old fashioned but I think to sell a lock, it should work very consistently. My experience: - i have had to change the battery 3 times in less than 2 months, progressively getting worse (last time it died in 3 days) - it dies without warning, leaving me locked out- you have to check the app and it will not notify you - it often doesn’t lock or unlock the first time- have to try several times - support tells me to basically uninstall and reinstall it, when I had a professional do it and doubt I can do a better job with this finicky thing. And multiple times they’ve told me the screws could be too tight, or too loose I’m using it like a standard deadbolt now, carrying a key everywhere. Such a waste!
