This level is designed to enhance my older LEVEL smart lock. It has improved and expanded my home ecosystem, offering additional entry options. I particularly appreciate the integration with Apple, allowing me to use my iPhone and Apple Watch for locking and unlocking, which I find truly impressive. Setting it up was a breeze, taking just a few minutes to have it fully operational. Later on, I added it to the Apple HomeKit app, and the option to add it to the Wallet app's home key popped up. My only disappointment with this lock is its lack of Wi-Fi capability, limiting my ability to adjust its settings when I'm only connected to Bluetooth, which requires me to be near the lock at home. Remote control is solely accessible through Apple HomeKit and is restricted to locking and unlocking. However, the various locking and unlocking options, like using a card or key, are valuable features to have. Overall, the lock performs admirably, and I'm delighted with the upgrade.

The smart lock is pretty easy to install as long as the previous lock was done in the same size. One of our doors was different so I couldn't install the smart lock. It took approximately 1 hour to install.

Hard to install but works like it should. Make sure you have an Apple home device to be able to control it away from your home. The keyhole is white not silver.

Excellent smart lock that looks like a normal deadbolt. Great features, Apple Home Key is very nice to have.

Functionality works well so far and the installation instructions are very clear and simple to follow. It seems to be a good product, though certainly a lot more expensive than a regular bolt.

It works well. Due to my front door quality i did have to modify the door to accommodate. Otherwise i like how it works.

This smart lock is an excellent choice for all Apple users. It looks like a regular deadbolt from both the inside and the outside. If one is running the latest iOS, it is worth the extra price to be able to use Home keys. One can unlock one's home using an iPhone or Apple Watch to pay for merchandise. Second, I can give a guest a "hotel" key to enter the house without having to set anything up regarding an account for the guest. If someone living at home does not use a smartphone, there are key fobs, too. The first smart lock I purchased was made in August. I connected it to their video doorbell for internet access. Unfortunately, when this lock jammed, I broke it to rectify the problem. As August discontinued doorbells, I upgraded to the Wi-Fi smart lock. The problem was that it used two CR-123 batteries, which only lasted about a month and became very expensive. (Smart door locks do not support rechargeable batteries). This year, I upgraded to the Level Lock + because it uses a single CR-2 battery, making it more economical. When I installed the lock, the battery lasted only a few weeks versus the six months that Level claimed. The instructions say the lock is only compatible if there is no resistance when engaging the deadbolt. It turns out that the slight resistance experienced was enough to shorten the battery life. The easy fix is to ensure that the entire door jam is hollowed out in the same diameter as the strike plate. Even if the deadbolt works correctly, take a drill around the strike plate's opening to ensure no obstruction. This simple fix has allowed the lock to work flawlessly. I have not changed the battery since. Before, I went through about three batteries in less than two months. Overall, the Level Lock + is a fantastic smart lock for anyone who uses the Apple home environment. Before, I would check to ensure there is no preferred lock for one's doorbell. Although the lock is good, integrating a lot with the doorbell may be easier for many people.

Incredibly easy install and functions perfectly. It’s definitely on the pricier end of smart locks, but highly I recommend. My only two complaints are that it doesn’t come with the WiFi bridge and isn’t compatible with the google home ecosystem, but I knew those prior to purchasing.

This lock design is very impressive. For those that want the functionality of a smart lock with a more contemporary look this is the way to go. It blends so nicely with the satin nickel finish of the door knob. The installation was mostly straightforward but had to slightly adjust my deadbolt hole so it fit better. Probably more of a knock on the original hole drilled. The door is also old and I’m sure has been weathered significantly.

This lock looked great and was very excited for it had to make some adjustments to my door for it to fit so when i found out it went theough batteries in 2 days it was a very big let down a $200 something lock that constantly does not work is really bad. Found a thread for it on redit that has a lot of people experiencing the same problem, honestly save your money and try a different lock spending money on batteries or even if you buy the rechargeble ones youll need to change them out daily and frankly takes away any of the point in spending soo much money on a lock too have to find ways to work with it, id rate it lower if i could.

Got it as a gift for a relative - it was easy to install and the app seems simple enough. They like it. It's nice that you can unlock the door with a phone or smartwatch, so you can go out for a walk without carrying too much.

The bluetooth range limit doesn’t allow me to access the lock if I’m not standing next to the door. I bought a HomePod to rectify this but have no other use for the HomePod. The level app is also glitchy.

Love this device, it works well and looks really sleek. however just make sure it fits your door because the motor is large and might not work for custom doors.

I understand why people charge $250-$300 just to install this stupid lock. You might think “how bad can it really be to install this lock?” Its bad. This lock in order to work properly had to be set perfectly in the door and frame. The planets have to be aligned, and a scarifice of something precious to you has to be given as tribute. Otherwise it will keep giving you errors or say its jammed when its not. Product support? Good luck. Not sure what type of support is closed on the weekend when a normal person with a mon-fri job can use. They actually emailed me and wanted to schedule a call. I am sorry - but no. If your product requires a mystic on the other line telling me a wood ship is messing up the lock. You have a trash product.

This lock is so cool and it looks just like a normal lock. Its was very easy to install.

Great lock! Looks just like the original. Easy to operate and maintain. App is also easy to learn and use.

I really like it, especially with the unlock when getting home. Takes a little bit of time for it to register I am at the door but having my hands full, I dont mind the small wait. The biggest problem I have with the lock is the battery. Less than a month of usage, I have had to replace the battery 3 times now. Seems like a somewhat common issue others have had, will probably update after trying to get a replacement.

Amazing product. Looks good, much better than those blocky locks. Took a bit to understand the setup (especially the Apple home portion) but once it was setup it was pretty smooth and worked as expected.
