It locks itself while open and will not unlock by touch. It locks by touch but won't unlock the same way. And given how expensive it is I expected it to be awesome.

Amazing smart lock to have at home. The best thing is that it doesn't look like it is a smart lock but it has amazing features like auto-lock; auto-unlock or simply touch to unlock. I haven't tried to set up passes just yet but I'm sure it would work like a charm. I'm loving it so far.

I have bought three of these locks. They work with a key card or if have the app on your phone you can open via the app. If your phone is in your pocket Siri will open from your watch. I really like these locks!

Bought two of these for front and back door. My experience is that I had to adjust the size of the deadbolt receiving hole to account for seasonal changes in the alignment of the door. As the directions note, it must move freely or it won't work.

I am really impressed by the characteristics of this product, the quality is remarkable in addition to the ease of installation as well as configuration from my own cell phone. Unboxing is very easy, you just open the box and all the necessary parts are there, a couple of documents that include a quick installation guide and a couple of cards that will be used as keys to open and close the lock. Once having everything ready, the installation is something simple, you only need a screwdriver and that's it, the previous lock must be uninstalled to be able to put this new one in its place and they are practically the same pieces as a common lock, the difference lies in the internal mechanism that works with Bluetooth or even remotely if configured with the Apple Home Kit app. After installing the smart lock, it was only left to place the battery and at that moment the smart lock is activated you will hear a bip, the Level app has to be downloaded to be able to configure the smart lock and it can begin to be used. If you have an iPhone, adding this lock to the Home Kit app is very convenient since it can be opened and closed remotely, it is also compatible with the Alexa app and Ring. Regarding the performance, the only thing that I had a little problem with is with the Key cards, at first it didn't fully recognize the card that was registered, after registering the key card again and closing and opening the app it worked correctly, in addition to be able to use a card to open it, you can also use the touch function, you simply touch the smart lock and it opens or closes depending on the configuration chosen, it also includes 2 physical keys in case you do not have any of the other options to open or close the lock. Whether it is closed or opened remotely, touching the plate, using the key or the key card, the app notifies you how it was opened and at what time in real time, these records are saved for future use. In summary I can say that it is one of the devices that looks incredible, I have this device in satin chrome color, it is easy to install, it is very safe and easy to use, it has several options to open and close first or remotely, the app It is simple, it has what is necessary to easily configure and customize it, which for me is great, it seems to me that investing in the security of our houses and families is something that to date is more a necessity than a luxury, I can highly recommend this Bluetooth badge, good job Level.

Ive only had it installed for a couple months, but so far every feature has worked great. Love this lock. I unlock it from halfway down my door from half a block away and walk right in.

Outside of not working with our Google Home devices, this is by far the best Smart Lock we've bought. It's extremely responsive, and the minimal design makes you think it's just a regular lock.

Worth the investment. Easy to install and does not require modifications to current lock process. Be sure to purchase v. 4 though.

Much better than my August lock! I love the touch functionality, the only thing I wish it had is the ability to remote lock your door. Other than that it is sleek and you can’t even tell it’s a smart lock!

Unreliable touch to unlock feature. Did not lock my door automatically reliably either. Left unlock multiple times.. returned and purchased the Nest x Yale.

I had a small problem with the app options however the customer support was very helpful and patient. I like the functions and my granddaughter was impressed.

Lock didnt set deep enough, so I had to dremel the hole back like 1/8th of an inch. But it’s worked great since.

I am very favorably impressed by this Level Smart Lock. It is expensive, but has the looks and performance to justify the cost. It looks good, works well, and feels very secure. The first point I want to cover is that out of the box this lock works remotely over Bluetooth using the Level App. The lock does not have Wi-Fi capability built into it. So it can be locked and unlocked using the App, but only when your phone is within Bluetooth range. It can be controlled from anywhere if the lock is connected, via Bluetooth, to a compatible Apple HomeKit or Amazon Sidewalk device that functions as a Hub. Installation was simple and took me less than an hour, including removing my old lock and pairing the lock to the Level App. If you have changed a lock before, then you will know what to expect. If the dimensions of your old lock matches the new lock, then the new lock installation is easy. If not then you have to make modifications, and the installation will be more complicated. The Level Lock fit my door perfectly so I did not have to make any adjustments. I used my existing strike plate because it accepted the deadbolt perfectly. The Level provided strike plate had screw holes in different positions then my strike plate, so I decided to not use it so as to not have to drill new holes in my door frame. The Level Lock and components all feel very solid and well manufactured. It has a basic, but elegant look that will match the decor of any home that it is used with. After the lock is installed the next step is to pair it to the Level App. Once that is done, the lock can be easily opened and closed by long pressing the Level Icon on the App. Two metal keys and 2 NFC key cards are included. The cards have to be enabled using the App. To do this hold the cards to your phone when prompted. The cards can even be individually named. The key cards work, but do read somewhat slowly. A useful feature is that the Level App can be used to send a guest pass via text or email. These passes require the Level App to be downloaded by the guest, but allows the pass to be limited to a designated period of time. This is a welcome that avoids me from having to give out a metal key that can be lost or copied. The key card is another good security option because it can be revoked if it is lost or you don’t get it back. Whereas a metal key can be copied and will always be out there if lost. The touch to unlock functions has to be enabled in the App and works as intended. But in order to work, I must leave the immediate area of my home with my phone. This is a security function that prevents someone from gaining access to my home by touching the lock while I am in my house. This smart lock offers basic auto lock and auto unlock features, but does not have the ability to create schedules.The App default picture can be changed from the chair, to one of your choosing. The provided lithium battery installs in the deadbolt, and is rated to last for about one year with 10 operations a day. I am very happy with this lock, and am looking forward to many years of reliable use. I am expecting that Level will add features to the App, and that the list of compatible Amazon and Apple devices will grow. At the moment, I do not have a compatible Apple or Ring device to test the Hub functionality, but do intend to eventually use the lock that way.

Really like this purchase. Had some difficulty getting it to work with touch but every other way works great.

Touch ID and Apple Home kit very difficult to set up. Neither one works.

It works well as the locking bolt to the house. We don’t need to lock the door except with the bolt now.

Not the Level Lock +. It does not have the capability to use HomeKit Key.
