I needed a tall fan with a slim design, and this fits exactly where I needed it to. It has 12 speeds, but I just keep it on the maximum speed, which suits my purposes well.

Amazing. I bought one for my home office that doesn’t have a ceiling fan and it instantly cools the whole room. Like it so much, we got a second one for the living room to keep the ac from working so hard.

This is a really good fan. It is easy to clean when needed. Also the smart features are great and it easily connects to voice assitants adding increased functionality.

Start with the simple things. Set up took less than 10 minutes. That includes securing the base to the fan, reviewing the quick start guide and loading and signing up with the app. The app isnt mandatory, but it does provide you with cool additional options like setting up a schedule and has all the features that comes with the remote as well. This fan is impressively quiet. Even if you take it up to max speed of 12, you can hear it but not anything that would drown out anyone talking or watching tv etc. You can set the timer on the unit to work when it's best for you and it also has an auto setting that monitors the temperature in the room and adjusts fan speed accordingly. Another nice feature is it will display the in room temperature. The advanced sleep mode button. This also adjusts to the temperature of the room. Turbo mode puts the fan right on speed level 12. When you have the oscillating feature activated you can stop it at anytime and have the fan focus on the area that best suits the user. It looks nice also. Very sleek and feels well constructed eventhough it is basically all plastic. This in no way takes away from the look or features at all. This is worth the money especially for what other makers charge 3 and 4 times more than the Levoit. Well done!

I recently picked up the Levoit Classic 42 Inch Smart Tower Fan for my home office. I have limited airflow in this room, so I have been looking for something I can use while working to keep the temperature down on these hot summer days. The issue I have had with so many fans is that they are too loud to use during meetings as they seem to all create distracting background noise. The options I have tried that are quiet enough to use all day have not provided much airflow at all. This one is so much different! It is very quiet, even on higher settings! The airflow is so great that I honestly don't even have to use the higher speeds either and it still keeps the air flowing into my office from the hallway quite well. The remote is great too! I can easily adjust speeds if it starts to get cold, which is something I never thought possible. The sleep mode functions perfectly and is also nice, it helps to ensure I never leave the fan running all evening or night when I am not in the office. I have also never had a tower fan this tall that allows such a versatile fan angle adjustment, another huge plus.

This fan is great for any room large or small! There are 12 speed settings, oscillation, the ability to set it to turn on/off by temperature, a timer, schedular, as well as a quiet night setting. The fan has a very small floor footprint and has each reach controls on the top with a display panel on the front. You can set the display to stay on or turn off after a short time to keep your room dark at night and the ability to turn off the beep noise when buttons are pressed. You can use controls directly from the fan top, or from the included remote control that has a built-in storage space in the back of the fan. The fan can also be fully controlled via the VESYNC app and integrates with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for hands free voice controls. The front vent has an adjustable vent control to direct the lateral direction of the air. Another great feature is the ability to remove the intake grill on the back for easy access to cleaning. The fan is about very easy to assemble out of the box, and the remote has a battery included.

It's hurricane season, which means it's time to gather supplies such as fans for when my power goes out and we have to run cords to the generator. It's also super hot in Florida, so a good fan always comes in handy when you'd like to cool smaller spaces more than the whole house. Unboxing Overall, getting it out of the box and getting it set up was relatively easy. I struggled a bit with getting the power cord connected. It seemed that I needed to get it lined up perfectly, but once I did it was a piece of cake. Size The fan is 42 inches. You may think you know how tall that is, but it might be worth pulling out your tape measure to ensure it's the size you are seeking. The fan is very tall which is perfect for our needs. I primarily use it in the afternoons when I'm working from my desk at home so the size is perfect for me to be sitting at my desk enjoying the breeze without cooling the whole house. The A/C is on, but Florida is hot so this fan is perfect when I'm stationary and just need to cool a room a little more than the rest of the house. Although it's big, I don't mind storing it when not in use but size is something to consider when evaluating your own needs. Noise What noise? It is gloriously quiet. I have had my fair share of fans and even the quiet models are typically loud. The Levoit is totally different. You will not even realize it's turned on, except for the pleasure cool air you feel. I like to use the fan when I'm working from home in the afternoon before I turn the air up as everyone gets back home. This is perfect for me to easily attend meetings with no background audio competing with my meeting. Temperature Wow! It has 12 different speeds. By the time I hit the third speed, I was getting chilly. I can only imagine the relief it will bring the next time the power goes out at our house. With this oscillating feature and a turbo option, we won't be fighting over the breeze. There will be plenty for the parents and the kids. Design Well, this fan is beautiful. The color combination of black and white has a super sleek appeal and looks good in any room in our home. The App This is the first fan I have ever owned that came with an app. It was very easy to setup the app. I use my phone as a remote, although the fan does come with its own remote. It's easiest to change the speed via the app or remote. From the device itself, you have to cycle through the numbers rather than decreasing the speed directly. There are many options in the app to define a schedule in case you may want to schedule it around a sleep schedule. Maybe start cooling off a bedroom just before bedtime or something like that. There is also a timer option which can come in handy as well. I also found it helpful that the app indicates what the temperature is in the room. This will come in handy when I'm trying to cool a kid's room if our power is out so I can keep an eye on the temperature and adjust accordingly without interrupting their sleep. Overall, I have been incredibly impressed with this product. I was surprised by the low price point when compared to all the benefits packed into this wonderful fan. Looking forward to a cool, cool summer!

The highlight of this fan for me is just how quiet it is. Even at its highest setting it’s much quieter than any fan I’ve owned and still throws out a considerable amount of air. I can have it full blast and not really have to turn up the volume on my TV. My other favorite thing about this fan is the Google Home integration where I can automate it based on my routines. It requires using their VeSync app to first link it up to a wifi network and the app is a very well-designed where I can perform all the functions of the fan like controlling fan speed, oscillation, as well as scheduling. It seems like there are 8 billion different smart home devices and apps out there and I generally expect horrifically designed apps but they did a very good job with the design and functionality. Huge kudos to them putting a lot of effort here where it’s not an afterthought. The fan itself looks great with a clean, sleek look and being that it’s a tower fan it saves a ton of space. On the top of the unit there’s touch controls for speed (12 levels), oscillation, as well as scheduling and it also comes with a remote that mirrors the same functions. My only wish here is that I didn’t have to point it directly at the front of the fan to use it (like a TV remote). Works great otherwise and I appreciate the storage area on the back of the fan when not in use so there’s less risk of me losing it. The setup and assembly is also simple and incredibly intuitive where all you have to do is snap two 2 pieces together that make up the base and then attach it to the bottom of the fan with a screw on ring. No tools are required. Very impressed with this fan when it comes to airflow, sound, their app, as well as Google Home integration.

Okay, I love this fan! Out of the box, it was very easy to set up. It took me about 10 mins give or take to attach the bottom stand by snapping it together, attaching the plastic nut on the bottom and to get the app up and running. A few things worth noting. I have the 42” option and man is it perfect for our beside the bed fan. Before our fan was shorter and I couldn’t really feel the air being that I lay on the opposite side of the bed with my husband in front of the fan. Now, I feel the air with no issues. It has 12 different speed options with a 90 degree rotation and man, oh man…it cools my room down SO fast! At night, you are also able to turn off the display so that you don’t have the low light glow in your room while sleeping. That was a huge plus for me. The app VeSync is very user friendly. Once downloaded, I created an account and had the fan added as a device option within no time. The app allows me to use the “smart functions” to turn the fan on/off and to control it’s the speed, oscillation and even allows to set a schedule. Another cool function that we use often is the Alexa voice control option. It has voice integration with both Alexa or Google for a little wider selection of use. I was able to sync it to my Alexa as a new device and the next thing I know, I can ask to turn it on or off with ease. Overall, this fan is very useful. I love all the smart feature options and the fact that when connected to WiFi, you have all the controls at your fingertips. The price point is great and makes it very appealing to the buyer.

This review is on a Levoit - Classic 42-Inch Smart Tower Fan. I have been looking and waiting a long time for a fan like this. The main two selling points for me is it works with Alexa or Google and the ability to clean the inside. The design looks sharp and looks nice for any type of decor. Airflow is strong. I like that I can leave the instructions stuck on top and it still looks like it is a part of the fan. Setup is a breeze. I installed the VeSync app. Selected add device. Pressed the power button for 5 seconds. It immediately found the device. Selected the Wi-fi network and password. Assigned it to a room and then gave it a name. You can control all functions easily though the app or just say it to Alexa. You can set up a schedule or timer. You can control the speed or use an advanced sleep mode that will look at what the temperature is in the room and adjust the speed accordingly. Their app has several other features for wellness and health. This is the first tower fan that I have come across that gives you the ability to easily open the plate from the back to give you access to clean the blades. Many I have owned in the past get really dirty and no way to properly clean them. This makes this the perfect fan to own.

The Levoit 42 inch smart tower fan is a really nice looking fan. It is tall and feels built really well. I was impressed with the quietness of the fan even at higher speeds. It has most features that any e would want but the cooling is great. It seems to push a string volume of air with little effort. I also like the remote storage which holds it well and the remote itself works all the same features as the control panel on the top of the fan. The buttons on the control panel are so easy to just lightly touch and they work really well. The oscillating feature is smooth, goes 90 degrees and distributes the air well. The display is nice and large so you can see it from across the room. It also has a temperature setting for advanced sleep mode that adjusts the fan speed based on the room temperature. It works with Alexa and Google voice assistants. I already had the VeSync app on my smartphone so I added the smart fan using the included instructions and it worked great. I could control all the features from my phone.

The Levoit Classic 42" Tower Fan is an excellent choice for anyone wanting a fan that doesnt take up a bunch of space, looks good and performs well. It is a good fan that works well in small or medium sized rooms, I'm using it in my living room and it cools the area very well. I also like that its ridiculously quiet, at its highest setting its practically whisper quiet, I don't have to increase the volume on my TV or speak up when guests are visiting and the fan is running. Set up is incredibly easy, open the box and the fan is there, the onky thing you'll be assmebling is the base and its two half circles that clip together with a big plastic lock nut, no tools will be needed. It looks nice and feels sturdy, I was concerned it would feel like cheap breakble plastic like some other tower fans I've seen, but the Levoit is very durable. It has a handy little control so you can operate it from your couch or bed and not have to get up. Overall its a solid tower fan and I like it alot, especially during these hot Texas summer.
