Headache and Cancer warning

When I turned it off, we were fine. Also, this brand's air purifiers as well as some other brands have the cancer warning (Prop65). The tag on this said it can expose you to lead and other chemicals that are known to cause cancer and reproductive harm. This ruins the purpose of an air purifier. I emailed Levoit and they didn't know exactly where the lead is located in the product, and what other dangerous chemicals are there. They basically said the warning is there for the customer to decide if they want it or not. Very glad to have returned this.

Literally worked for 2 minutes and then fan just stopped working. Took it to the store, showed the bestbuy employees, even they couldn't figure it out. Maybe a defective product.

Don’t bother, works like a fan

My partner smokes so I had hoped to it would help the quality of the air in the room but it didn’t at all. I don’t know how it got such good reviews. It works more like a fan than a air purifier.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.One of the main reasons I purchased this item is to help reduce the amount of dust in the house. I am still seeing a layer of dust on the desk and bedroom furniture. While cooking in the kitchen it eliminates the food odors well. My children say they notice better respiratory activity and less sneezing. I will pay a little more attention to my wife sleeping but I think she is snoring a little less. I don't know if it's due to the Levoit or something else. The set up and operation of the Levoit 200S is very easy. I have not changed the filter yet but I don't anticipate it being a challenge. The units run mainly throughout the night and off during the day. I'm a lite sleeper and with the fan speed on level III it is a little annoying but I'm learning to deal with it. So far everyone is enjoying the Levoit 200S. I am considering purchasing a larger unit for another area of the house to eliminate the moving of the units around.

Saving Grace

Needed a room free from pets and pet dander. This little device worked like a powerhouse and saved me from having to use an inhaler morning, noon, & night. Plan on purchasing a few more.
