We now have in Arizona, so not needed as much but it definitely makes a difference. Great product

Other than that its a great product!

What's That Smell?

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this brand of air purifier based on some promising reviews made by others, but quickly discovered two drawbacks that made me return it to the store: 1. The shape of the purifier is round, opening up the possibility that it would clean air from the "advertised" 360 degree angle. Problem is, there are no vents on the side or back. They're only on the front and cover a relatively small area. Hard to handle 360 degree coverage given that; 2. The icing on the cake was this purifier had the worst chemical smell about it. I kept it a couple days hoping it would go away, but it didn't. No idea why it smelled so bad, but if the purifier emits smells worse than the ones you're trying to get rid of, it's a no-go for me. I didn't want to give the product zero stars -- after all, the "tower" aesthetic is nice, and I liked that it was a "true" hepa with an integrated charcoal filter. I cannot, however, recommend it as a solution to anyone's air purifying needs.
