Highly recommend, especially if you own a pet that sheds

Actually dissapointed. Basically 5/10 it does everything that it's supposed to do...yes but not very well. Also much larger in person than the images suggest.

It's now Sept 2023, and we've owned this unit since April 2023, so about 5 months. I figured it would be helpful to review the unit and share some of what we've learned since purchasing it. First, the pros: Overall, it's quite quiet for how much air it moves and filters. I love that it pulls air from all sides, rather than just one direction. If you have a spot to put it in the middle of a room, it'll help circulate more air from all directions. Of course, that doesn't always work for most rooms, but you could move it when you want to. The app has been consistently able to connect to the unit. No issues there. It's our only Levoit product, so it's a little extra to tap into this device to see or edit anything, but that's not really a huge issue. The unit is simple and, I guess you could say it looks good, considering it's a medium-sized white plastic obelisk in our living room. It doesn't really stand out, and that's a good thing in my opinion. It's also light, so it's easy to move around. And opening the unit is really easy: a small twist of the top and it comes right apart to clean or change filters. And the manual, which is well-formatted, is available digitally from the manufacturer's website. It seems to filter the air fairly well. We run it 24/7 and it's had zero issues. I guess Levoit recommends changing the filter 1-2x per year, so we'll probably check it after 6 months or so to see how clogged the filter is, as our dogs shed quite a lot. Now for the cons: This isn't really the unit's fault, but I wish it moved more air or worked for a larger space. I feel like that's asking a lot, though, as a single point of filtration for a larger space probably wouldn't do well at all. However, we have to run it on setting 3 or 4 (maximum) to really filter the air in our living room. If I run it on low, it really doesn't work well and I see a ton of dust and hair floating around the room. We have it in a larger living room + kitchen + dining space, so I'm guessing we just outsized the unit's specs. So, I guess my point is, don't expect it to clean air in a huge living room. Secondly, on high the unit does make a bit of noise. It's hard to watch TV or have normal conversations when it's turned up to the maximum setting. It's not crazy loud, but it's not quiet, either. On lower settings, though, it's just a whisper. Lastly, and this is my biggest concern with this unit, the PM2.5 readings may not be accurate. It usually reads at 1 at nearly all times. The only time I see the number go up is if we bump or move the unit, vacuum right near it, etc. Otherwise, it's just sitting at 1. Considering the crazy amount of dust I see floating in our air when I don't run it, I wonder if it's calibrated properly or if the particulate sensor needs replacement. Overall thoughts: I think this air purifier does a good job. When I run it on high in our larger room, it seems to filter the air fairly well. I would recommend it for rooms at maybe half to three quarters of its rated capacity to avoid running it on high. Despite my concerns with the PM2.5 readings, I'm happy to give it around 4 to 4.5 stars.

This Levoit purifier works great! It noticeably improves air quality within just a few hours. I love how quiet it runs, even on higher settings, and the app makes it super easy to control and monitor air quality. Perfect for people with allergies or pets. Highly recommended!

I've been using the Levoit PlasmaPro 600S Smart Air Purifier for a while now, and I honestly couldn't be happier with it. We get a lot of smoke drifting in from neighbors who burn wood, and this thing handles it like a champ. You can really tell the difference in air quality—not just with the smoke, but even general stuffiness is gone. I was so impressed, I actually bought a few more and now have them running in different parts of the house. They're quiet, easy to use, and I like that I can control them with the app. It’s kind of nice to check air quality or change settings from my phone without getting up. Overall, this has been a great purchase. If you’re dealing with smoke, allergies, or just want cleaner air, I’d definitely recommend the PlasmaPro 600S.

I originally purchased the 400s for my new apartment and then forgot about it for several months. After remembering and get it set up I fell in love. But I had set it up in my living room/ kitchen area and realized I should probably get something more powerful as it seemed to take a while to quiet down. So I decided to get this unit and move the 400s into my bedroom. Best. Decision. Ever! So I have a street facing apartment on the ground floor and two cats. I’ve been miserable! this year from the early rains and with just a week of the 400s I had improvement to both the dust levels and smells in my apartment. When I got the 632 up and running it easily took over and within 24 hours I was no longer smelling my neighbors smoking and the dust has drastically dropped as well. I love that I can just vacuum the filter - for both of them and that extends the life of them right there. But I’m most happy with the reduction in sneezing. Oof man if you have pets and allergies you know how bad it can be when the pollen gets going. I’m very happy to see a reduction on that and my need for allergy meds. The bonus is the app that both work with. Lovvvve that I can schedule the start and stops on it and if I need to up the fan speed I don’t have to get up and go to the device. All and all a very easy to use unit l, just make sure you get the right size for your needs.

Excellent modern design and usability. The product's top controls are easy and clear. The accompanying mobile app makes it simple to control the product via Wi-Fi. The purifier is very quiet. The air feels fresher and lighter after using it for over and hour. I leave it on at night from time to time

Use this in my basement gaming area, opened my pc for the first time in 6 months to clean it and there was almost no dust inside, conisdering my pc has 6 intake fans, that is almost unheard of. The only difference in those months was this purifier. Noticably less dust all around the basement which is quite large, air quality is so much better, everyone noticed a huge difference after running this for a few hours on max speed. Excellent purifier.

I got the Levoit 600 air filter for my 800 sq ft apartment, and I couldn't be happier with the results. It's incredibly easy to operate, and I immediately noticed an improvement in air quality! It really does clean the air and there is noticeably less dust! I have it on a schedule to run before I leave for work and the. Again right before I come home. Highly recommend!

I recently purchased a Levoit Plasma Pro 600S Smart Air Purifier to use as a summer portable air conditioner, and for that I really like it! I was thinking about one of those units that needed to be vented via a hose through an open window, but preferred this instead. It is a fantastic air filter for over 600sq. ft. of space, and for me, it cools the air inside on a hot day pretty well. I did not care to have freezing air, so thought I would try it. It works well for my purpose and is very lightweight and easy to use. I cannot compare it to the ones that needs to be vented out a window, I needed to be able to move it wherever I needed it. I would recommend this highly as a portable air filter, and it works well as a small, very portable A/C unit...I am pleased and am once more comfortable indoors in summer!

This is a great device, well designed with an excellent feature set. This device works perfectly in my large family room (24x18). The amount of air it can process in a short period of time is simply amazing. It is well construct and is very quiet in normal use. When it detects poor air quality it can automatically increase the fan speed which, although noisier, is not excessive and soon reduces as the sensor detects the air quality improving. As a bonus, if you decide to use the app, it's easy to setup and provides a couple of extra functions. Overall, I am very pleased with my 600S

It's been a month and I can testify that if you want to smoke indoors, get this. I know this is a little pricey but this is truly worth the monetary sacrifice. The simplicity of it makes it even more worth it. Most people don't think about their air quality off the bat until it's noticeably a problem but there's never a day where I'm stuffy in my place. If you're big on cooking, your stove vents alone will take forever, they may clear some smokiness out, but not at the speed of this device. In fact, you probably wouldn't even have to cut them on if you ran this by itself, still though, use them if you're cooking. The display on the device keeps an accurate read if the air quality of where it is placed. The set up is easy too. It'll come in the box, you rotate it with a quarter turn, hoist it up, pull the plastic off the vent, drop it back in and you're set, seriously. If you can afford this, buy it. For filtration purposes, I believe they're around $80. If you want to know the frequency of how often you change it, just use some common sense. If you're heavily polluting your area, your filter would probably need to be changed more frequently. If it's average or infrequent, you get a longer life out of it. I was referred to this from one of my buddies and I'm leaving this review in hopes that someone will read this and help them make the decision to buy this device. I haven't had a single complaint about anything. Oh and as far as noise, if you've ever heard a vehicles radiator fan turn on when the engine is hot, it's about half of that noise volume. It's fairly ambient in my opinion, with that being said, I hope you enjoy your device when you get it I know I am.

Best purchase recently made. Filter is incredible for 1600 square foot home. This has eliminated need for plug in fresheners. Air quality is now consistent within the home and machine adjusts to environmental quality. Highly recommend.

I have had this for a year now. I absolutely love it! It helps remove smells from cooking, our dust level is significantly lower, and I hardly notice dog hair lingering around our house. I have this one on our main floor, and a different brand on our 2nd level, and this one (BY FAR) is the best of the two. I highly recommend this product. One filter lasted us about a 6 months, and we are approaching it to be changed again. Our air purifier runs 24/7, 7 days a week. I don't even notice much of a difference on our electric bill.
