Buy if you want to use for a year and a half

I hope that support writes me and offers me something. It simply won't turn on anymore. I purchased two years ago but had it unplugged in storage for the past six months. Upon taking it back out, it just won't power on. No issues with cord, no issues with outlet, followed all troubleshooting stuff, and in doing so am finding out that these units and this brand are known to simply fail after a couple years. That's a lot of plastic and money down the drain, especially if you buy filters regularly.
