Doesn't last much beyond a year.

Two of them stopped working in the second year of ownership. They seemed to work well cleaning the air, but the fact that they seem cheaply made, I can't give them anything more than a 1 star.

Website shows 361 sf coverage, box and manual show 290 sf of coverage. Video for item shows LV-PUR131s - this model matches the website specs. Item received was LV-RH131s. Will return and buy from Amazon - more expensive but the model desired.

Would Not Recommend

I placed it on the tv stand behind my living room TV and dust still accumulated all over the stand after a day or two. I watch smoke float in the opposite direction of the device. Super weak. The worst part is that it randomly shuts off several times a day. It doesn't matter what mode it's on... auto, low/med/high.. I tried plugging it into multiple outlets and surge protectors throughout my home and that made no difference. The quality is average at best. it isn't very sturdy. the rear door which holds the filters is flimsy and moves around when you lift or move the device. would have been great for the $ if it worked, but i guess you get what you pay for.

Levoit truclean smart air purifer

If the house gets a little smoky from the fireplace the light turns red. If my other son sprays to much aerosol body spray the light turns red and kicks on to higher fan speed.

Helps with the dust

Seems to help keep the dust down. The app makes it easy to monitor the filter life and fan speed.

Disappointed

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Disappointed in the power of it’s air intake I placed a small piece of paper near the air intake opening and it barely even pulled towards it and for those who might ask, yes the filters are properly installed. I had it in a room half the size it states it would purify but it didn’t remove the small unknown particles that were floating around likeI I thought it would even after several hours and I mean several hours I could still see stuff floating around in the air. I waited to long to use it so I own it now will be contacting the company to see if there may just be a problem with the one I have and if we can rectify the situation.

Poor lifespan

Doesn't detect smoke

This one is supposed to detect the smoke and turn on when it detects it. Well, my neighbors are bad chain smokers and this thing never detects their smoke. I manually turn it on and it KINDA helps, but not really.

Absolutely Useless

I can’t believe that for so much money, this thing did nothing. We have a dog and the point for was to help with dander and allergens in the air. My fan does more than this thing. It’s pointless and I wouldn’t recommend.

Users' experiences can vary depending on external factors (room size, weather, presence of animals/plants, etc.) and personal sensitivity. To more aggressively clean the air, we recommend running the purifier on the highest fan speed (and for extended periods). The Grade H13 True HEPA filter captures 99.97% of airborne particles 0.3 microns in size; the activated carbon filter helps reduce smoke, odors, and VOCs. You may not see buildup on the pre-filter for a few months; this part of the filter captures larger airborne dust particles. Please note that the air purifier will not be able to filter particles that have settled onto surfaces. The filter lasts for 6-8 months.
