Pros: Solid build, braided cable, touch control Cons: Lighting effects are bad. The multi-color modes are terrible and don't even really have a pattern. It's barely better than those cheap LED devices that just flash red, green and blue lights. Plastic surface seems like it could be smoother. Bottom line: not good value. If you're gonna go RGB, get a mousepad that has better lighting control and features like wireless charging. Strongly advise you don't buy this one at regular price.

ok for 40$ I don't know enough of other mouse pads with similar futures to compare. a few things I don't like. the RGB lighting is only 7 colors to choose from. then you have 3 more selections to change for rainbow effect, or a mode that cycles thru the colors or off. so you don't get a program to customize the color to what you want. lucky for me, orange is my favorite color and its one of the colors. another big issue, it has a button at the top that looks like a finger print. this is what you press to cycle thru the 7 colors and 2 extra modes. downside, when ever I pass this button with my mouse, it activates it and changes the color. if using with a wired mouse I highly suggest a mouse bungee to raise your cord at it can drag and get caught at the top where the wire for mouse pad comes out at. as for feel. mouse glides great on it. I have always used a cloth pad and have one that goes all the way across my desk. mouse seems to glide a bit smoother on this pad. however it does make a scratching like sound. I enjoy using the mouse pad and if want something with lights and don't mind not being able to customize your lights then this is a great mouse pad to have. its a nice size mouse pad from side to side however not as much top to bottom. just slightly bigger then a sheet of paper turned sideways. its hard for me to really recommend this at this time. I think they should have made a button where the mouse cord is to press instead of where it is at so that you don't glide over it and change the color on accident. I also would love to see it more customizable thru an app. if they had those then sure I would recommend. but lack on that, I would suggest saving money and get a cloth pad that works for half the cost.

From it's humble beginnings on Kickstarter, LEXIP proved to be a great gaming hardware company. They delivered after all was said and done. They delivered yet again with this mouse pad. The responsiveness is insane. I took a while to review this product just enough to see if it had any flaws and I only found one that wasn't worthy of taking a start away, and that was that since I play a hitscan character, my mouse sensitivity is low, therefore my hand has to move through most of the very ample space provided for a medium sized gaming Mousepad. It has a touch sensor button to change the color or color pattern. The button only has one function. It's a very basic Mousepad and super stylish. The mouse basically moves by itself. This is great for anyone on a budget who does not want to break the bank and still wants to take their gaming to the next level. Good Job LEXIP!

Sturdy race track for mice with cool lighting

If you are a avid computer gamer looking for another gadget to trick out your rig, this just might be the ticket: The Lexip B5 Touchcontrol Mousepad. The French company best known for making gaming mice now makes a racetrack for them to run on. And even better, the edges glow with all the colors of the rainbow. It's the perfect accessory for the avid gamer who has already tricked out his or her gaming PC with lights. The big appeal to gamers, aside from the cool lighting, is the mousepad surface: a hard black textured affair that allows you to run the mouse around with the least resistance possible, ie, very fast. That's essential in the gaming world, where speed is the difference between winning and losing. Unlike most mouse pads, it is pretty huge to boot, about 10 by 14 inches. So there is plenty of room maneuver without running off the pad. The LED lighting system (power provided by one of your computer's USB ports) can produce one of seven solid colors. Just touch the white fingerprint at the top of the pad to cycle through the choices. There also are several multicolor animated modes, in which the lights either pulse or race around clear plastic outside edge. Perhaps too distracting while gaming but cool the rest of the time. (You can turn it off too.) Unlike the soft spongy mousepads some people use, this is a very sturdy ridge device, with an integrated metal frame and big rubber feet to mask sure it stays put. But this mousepad is also a bit clunky, with a big black metal block at the top of the pad where the fabric wrapped USB cord connects. It's a little too easy to crash your mouse into it when making fast gaming moves. Not the most elegant design. My biggest gripe is the brightly lit edges of the pad are sharp, instead of rounded as they should be, for comfort. If your hand or arm hangs off the edge of the pad, the sharp edge can cut into it. Not good. In the end, this pretty pricey for a mouse pad. But if your gaming rig is all about style and speed, it's hard to go wrong with this one.

It's a pretty good mouse pad, however, because it is a hard surface pad my mouse wasn't gliding as nicely as I hoped. this mad using it a little difficult. Additionally, because you can change the color on the mouse pad by pushing the sensor, if you have a wired mouse it will sometimes 'push' the sensor and change things. Not a super big deal just inconvenient.

Pro: -Lighting is bright and consistent -Big and sturdy -Price Con: -RGB is not customizable through software, only manually cycle between colors -Rough surface -Noticeable bump around the touch sensor -Doesn’t remember settings after powering off I think this mouse pad is fine for the price. It’s nice and big and the RGB looks good, but I don’t like the textured surface. It feels almost like fine sandpaper and feels rough on my wrists, it’s loud as the move the mouse, and it’ll probably wear out my mouse feet faster. Even using Lexip’s ceramic feet still didn’t feel as good as a smooth pad. There’s a touch button near the top that controls the lights, but it creates a bump about 2 inches down and is noticeable when you mouse over. The lighting effect looks nice and defused, with little hotspotting. There’s 6 colors, and 3 effects (rainbow, transition, and spiral). There’s no software control, even though the website has a link for their Control Panel software. It would have been nice to be able to coordinate the colors of the mouse pad along with their Pu94 gaming mouse, which does use Control Panel. If you want more control, then you’ll have to spend a bit more on either a Corsair or Razer. One annoying thing is that it doesn’t remember the setting when it powers off. It also doesn’t power off when my PC is in sleep mode.

Wow. Just WOW! I have a few hard surface mouse pads in the house and that I have used over the years. But NONE compare to this one when paired with ceramic feet. Using this with the Lexip PU94 is a great experience. First off, the flash. The lights around the pad, they can be turned off or cycled thru. Probably the easiest way to turn off is unplug. :D The lights are controlled thru a finger sensor on the pad itself. Plugging this into the PC really does nothing but light the mouse up. If you need to save a USB port, a USB wall plug should work. The pad has some heft to it. There are 5 rubber pads on the bottom to keep it from sliding on your desk. It is plenty rigid, so there is very little flex if any for a desk that may have cutouts or if the pad hangs over an edge. Odd thoughts I know, but I have a desk with cutout for small items that is next to the keyboard and this can cover those up and not sag. The surface is metal with a subtle texture and very smooth for a great glide with any mouse. I do recommend having ceramic feet, there is next to no friction and very little resistance. Lexip also has replacement ceramic feel you can apply to most mice. The tracking area is great for any mouse I have tried and almost makes the mouse sensor a bit more accurate. This is great for precision movements. I did have to turn my DPI down a bit because it was too responsive. My one and only gripe. At the top of the pad, where the USB cable connects to power the lighting is just high enough to lift the mouse off the pad when you get too close. If it could have been angled or rounded, I think this would alleviate this minor issue. One nice to have that I hope they include in any future versions of this pad: have a USB port or two where the USB cable comes into the pad to power the lights. When using this with a laptop, USB ports can be at a premium. Even with a desktop setup, fewer cables run to the PC makes for a cleaner desktop. I really love this mouse pad, especially paired with the Lexip mouse. Any mouse will be great, but the ceramic on the metal is too smooth to describe in words. Highly recommended.

    A Large Flashy Mouse-pad

Let me start off by saying this thing is pretty massive. I did not expect the mousepad to take so much room up on my desk, so be aware. I can barely fit it on my desk with my mechanical keyboard and my macbook next to it. The RGB lighting is pretty cool, all the lighting is controlled on the mousepad itself, there is a little sensor you touch at the top to scroll through various colors and then ultimately off. The mousepad itself is also pretty darn heavy, it is made out of metal. The trackpad surface is ok, it is a little too coarse for my liking but still offers great trackability. One little thing that is odd, maybe its just my computer, but sometimes when my computer is off, the phantom power that is left over resides in the mousepad and causes the RGB lights to turn on, not a big deal, just odd. For the price, you can't beat it, other mousepads are almost double the cost with the same features.

    rigid gaming mousepad

If you have the room (it is quite large, about the size of an iPad pro), I highly recommend the Lexip - B5 hard mouse pad. Most mouse pads are flexible, this one is solid and your mouse effortlessly glides across the surface without much effort, although the matte finish does not make for a slippery, out of control tracking surface. The bezel of the mousepad (yes it has an edge) is lighted with selectable colors (via a press point towards the top of the mousepad) so you can light it up with differing colors or even put it in a color shuffle mode. The mousepad in order to light up does require USB power, but there is nothing saying you couldn't just leave it unplugged if the added bling of the lights does not appeal to you. Now lets face it, if you are not a gamer that takes pride it their rig and its appearance then this mouse pad might be a bit overkill. The fact remains though this provides a great tracking surface which is rigid. For example I anticipate using this when I surf from my laptop while sitting on the couch, this mousepad will provide consistant operation of my mouse (I only use my trackpad on my laptop occasionally) because of the rigid, hard surface. Pros: - rigid mouse pad - matte surface - lighted edge Cons: - not for tight places, kinda of large

The mouse pad is bigger than my current pad and that's nice. I like the textured surface as it seems very responsive with the PU94 gaming mouse. My old smooth surface Allsop aluminum pad was having some issues with the mouse, but the texture of this new pad seems to have fixed that. The pad has a trim light and it's powered by a USB cable. Make sure you have an open slot for it to plug into. The light is toggled by your finger at the top of the pad. The choices are off, orange, green, yellow, turquoise, blue, purple, multi colored (mix of all colors changing randomly around the edge, think Christmas lights) and two other mixed settings that change colors as one or in segments. I'm a turquoise guy and it matches the mouse and my Logitech G513 keyboard. Except for the need to use one of my few USB ports, this thing works great. Not sure if that's because I'm using Lexip's PU94 mouse or if it's the texture. Either way I'm happy with the performance. Not much else to say, but I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a good gaming/work mouse pad. If you enjoy all the LED color accessories than bonus!

If you want a Rigid Mousepad that has Bling

Overall this is a nice rigid Mousepad. The surface is smooth and the different mice I use (depends on the game) all loved it. It is a nice surface and none of the different mice I tried had an issue tracking, and in fact it seemed they tracked better. If you have the space and want a rigid mouse pad that won't move around, then this is the one. If you also want to plug it in (nice long cord) you can do that too and its easy to change the lighting effect. Personally I don't need the lights, but the surface and rigid nature, as well as dealing with my sweaty hand (clean up is a quick wipe with a cloth) makes this the mousepad for me.

A big trend now is everything has RGB lighting but have never seen a mousepad with this feature...until now! With just the touch of a finger you can change the lighting on this pad. Looks like a lil space ship sitting on the desk. The size of this pad is twice if not more, the size of a normal mouse pad. The surface is super slick for excellent movement that's necessary for stellar gaming. This is a matched set to go along with the Lexip - Pu94 Wired Gaming Mouse. Together they're a force to be reckoned with when it comes to PC gaming! Would highly recommend this pad for anyone even if not a gamer. The RGB lighting capabilities are a really cool feature

The Lexip B5 is a very nice mouse pad to be sure, but, when I first started using it out of the box, I wasn’t sure what problem it is trying to solve. Then I used it for several more days, and it grew on me. Its primary selling point is that it has a roughened, matte surface and provides a variety of RGB lighting modes (it will use one of your USB ports) to enhance your gaming experience. To me, 90 to 95% of the experience you will have with any mouse is due to the mouse itself. Its design, its heft, its feel in your hand, how it tracks, its responsiveness, the button number, design, and location, and so forth. These “mouse improvement” devices, such as stick-on ceramic feet and now this mouse pad, improve things only marginally, if at all, beyond what the mouse itself gives you. Or so I thought. After several days of use, I grew to very much like the slightly rougher feel of the matte surface on this pad. It’s less smooth than a polished wood or glass desktop, but it’s more smooth than a typical, old-fashioned rubber mouse pad, and the tactile resistance you feel from pushing the mouse around on it is just enough different to make this pad worth the cost, in my opinion. If you use a computer at all for gaming, office work, or both, you use a mouse all the time, and even an incremental improvement in the experience, when multiplied by all the time you use the mouse, adds up to a noticeable benefit. The box contains only the mouse pad itself plus the usual, printed-in-ten-languages user manual that doesn’t say much at all. But then there isn’t really much to say. Plug it into a USB port on your computer and you’re off. It immediately lights up and begins to display a raft of colors. Color modes can be changed by pressing a little “button” with a fingerprint symbol on it at the edge of the pad. Repeatedly tapping the button scrolls through the various modes. Keep in mind that the USB connection only provides a decorative experience. You get changing colors and color patterns, but it is not necessary to plug the pad in to use it or to get the most out of it as a mouse pad. Just put your mouse on it and go. I’m using the B5 pad as I write this, and the mouse I’m using is a Logitech Pro Gaming Mouse, a mouse which has become my everyday, gaming and desktop, mouse. (It also has RGB lighting effects, and now my desktop is a cacophony of RGB colors.) The mouse works great on the ordinary, old-fashioned, rubber-like mouse pad I’ve had one or another version of on my desk for many years. But as I’ve noted, the feel of the mouse is different, and it’s a difference for the better, with the Lexip B5 pad. If you’re a serious gamer looking to get that last bit of oomph out of your mouse experience, this is probably worth its modest cost. It certainly won’t degrade your mouse experience, and it will be up to you to decide if it enhances it. It did mine.

Most RGB mouse pads exceed the $50 price point. Coming in at $40 this mousepad is a bargain as long as the quality is there. I can confidently recommend this mousepad because I have not experienced any lack of quality. The things I like are the size, smooth surface, and easy ability to switch the colors of the lighting. There is a touch sensitive button at the top of the mouse pad where you can quickly go through the color options. There really aren't anything things I dislike. It's such a simple, straight forward product it's hard to find real drawbacks.

Overall the quality of the mouse pad is good. It is sturdy and easy to clean unlike a cloth mouse pad. There is a section on the mouse pad, where if you touch it the LEDs will change colors from a preset number of options. It is not too big, but also not too small, just enough room to where you can move you mouse a great distance even with low DPI. I would say the only downside of this mouse pad is the cooling fan section which sticks out too much. This a bad thing specially if you have a wired mouse, because a lot of times the mouse cord will get stuck on the vent when you are playing, and it is more noticeable in FPS games. In short this mouse pad is great for everyday use and games that do not require precise movement is shorts amount of time. It is durable and very easy to clean. I would also strongly recommend a wireless mouse to be used with this mouse pad.
