I've had other brands of combination microwave / convection ovens before and have liked them much better. I primarily use it as a microwave. It doesn't do a lot of microwave things particularly well. Examples: (1) You cannot touch a number pad button (like "2") and get 2 minutes of microwave cooking. (2) The auto cook feature for commonly microwaved items doesn't have a guide (except in the instruction book). When you select that item, it only tells you to choose 1 - 6, but there's no indication what those selections are for (and no sticker in the unit with that information.) (3) There's no sensor re-heating for a beverage. (But there is a programmed item to melt marshmallows. Who needs that?) It is going to take A LOT of time with the user's manual to learn to use the appliance to reasonable proficiency. I expect to be able to do that without having to constantly look things up.

Looks nice,convection oven works good, microwave seems to be a little underpowered compared to my old microwave!

Installed easy for someone who has never done it before. Easy enough to operate and got it open box through best buy so it cost half as much

I still need to try out the convection feature, but as far as a microwave goes, this is nice. Quiet running. Not obnoxious when it's finished. Nice tone. Nice to look at & easy to use. No complaints.

Having the convection microwave is a must! We were able to get rid of additional appliances and love the food that comes out of this great machine.

I've never cooked meat in a microwave. I have only used microwaves to heat food up. This one has a convection feature so I decided to give that feature a try. I roasted a well seasoned 4 lb. chicken according to the instructions in the booklet. Not only was the chicken tender and flavorful, but it was also beautiful. The skin was brown and crisp.

We are very pleased with the microwave. The buttons are easy to use. We plan to use polish to keep fingermarks to a minimum. We would recommend this microwave to others.

I continue to be impressed by LG. Unit is attractive and is multi function. I can just use the microwave or use as a convection oven. I am pleased with my purchase.

Was looking for a convection microwave; this is the only one available in the LG suite of appliances. Overall, fine as microwave, however there seem to be a lot of buttons that make functionality overly complicated. When purchasing this in the Best Buy store the associate said that there would be a long rack from side to side for the convection. However there is just a round rack that goes on top of the glass plate in the microwave. Have not needed to use the convection yet, however it seems I would only be able to put a small baking dish (8x8) on the rack.

The whole family loves this Microwave/Convection Oven. My husband loves to make giant cookies in it for our dessert. Would recommend it to family and friends!

I haven't checkout out the convection capability of this one, but it's a great microwave. In spite of all the bells and whistles, it's very easy to use

This microwave is impressive with all it can do ! Plus be s oven also . So glad I decided on this one !

Nice microwave. All the bells & whistles. Interior is completely stainless steel. Should be a breeze to clean.
