I was looking for a way to maximize my limited kitchen space. Replacing my vent hood with an over-the-range microwave seemed like a logical solution, but I was a little skeptical about the exhaust performance. Installation was straightforward, especially if you don't need to vent the microwave. If you are venting, the exhaust motor needs to be reversed, and you'll need a proper adapter based on your ductwork. However, the results were impressive! The exhaust performance was surprisingly similar to my old vent hood. I suspect the larger size ductwork used and the powerful exhaust motor contributed to this success. The microwave itself has all the standard features, like a 30-second button, programmable cooking options, and a stop turntable button. However, I wish the interior was brighter and that it had brighter LED lighting underneath (multiple LEDs would be ideal). Overall, I would definitely recommend this over-the-range microwave to anyone facing similar space constraints. It's a functional and space-saving appliance that exceeded my expectations.

This Microwave was a replacement for a very old one. I was thinking initially about a very sophisticated microwave, but realized I use most of the time the timer position, even to bake potatoes or unfreeze. The only issue I found was the overheating light that I replaced with a led for $4. So, for the price, it is an excellent deal. Easy to install and look much nicer than the old one.

Purchased 10-21-24 , Its ok microwave , would like to know if anyone has an interior light in theirs. I have not seen one, inside is so dark cant see food when cooking

This LG OTR Microwave is excellent. It's very easy to use & functioning very well.

The microwave works, but you need to have a class in using it. I was not impressed with the instructions and after several weeks still trying to learn. It is easy to clean and is attractive.

Beautiful microwave, very sleek. Quiet when on and makes a nice chime when done. Easy to use.

Great interior size. Easy to use presets. Good power for reheating and defrosting. Love the musical tones instead of beeps, especially as one person in our house tends to leave things in the microwave for a while.

So far so good after a month or so! Very quiet and easy to install. Nice features and a great modern look.

Works very well. Is very quiet while running. Automatic fan is nice for over the stove. Brilliant at popcorn.

For the price I will say it does more than what I expected. There's a ton of options present on the microwave. 30 seconds heat time feels more like 1 minute. There's plenty of space as well, some plates are larger than others. I know there are Styrofoam plates that are larger as well, they all fit. It is a really good product. The only issue I has was the light went out within a week

Best microwave ever!!! If this fits in your space, GET IT! It's fast, affordable for what you get, and stylish. It's way faster than any other microwave I've ever owned. Also is QUIET super quiet cooking and when it alerts you when something is done.

It was easy to install and works well Overhead fan works well pulling out smells and smoke.

We have been very happy with any LG purchases, This microwave has hasn’t disappointed us. The size is perfect for us, we had a smaller one that turned out the wattage (1000 watts) and size turned out to be not what we needed. This microwave, 1.7 cubic feet is perfect for our needs.
