Like everybody else, the interior light stopped working. It is a satisfactory unit otherwise, but should work properly. I have only had it for about 8 months and it's barely used.

FIT PERFECTLY IN SPACE DESIRED VERY QUITE OPERATION

My microwave was doing great up until it failed while using the fan on high while boiling a chicken on the stove top underneath - the steam killed it. But here's the kicker, it was only about 9 months old. This happened to our previous LG microwave as well and it was about 4 years old. Shame on me for buying another LG. They sure don't make em like they used to. This has a design flaw that allows steam-moisture into the circuitry causing it to short out. Not a huge issue because it's still under the 1 year factory warrantee right? WRONG?
LG's customer service and warranty department SUCK! I tried for 3 months to either have it repaired or replaced and it never happened. LG's contracted service provider Sears, in our area SUCKED! and communications were horrible and they wasted countless hours of my time on the phone and waiting for service techs to show up. all while trying to allow them to honor their warranty but they never pulled through. I still have a fan motor and circuit board spare parts in my garage because Sears never showed up to fix it even though we had countless appointment scheduled. ZERO stars for them
However the good news is Best Buy ROCKS! after the 1 year warranty expired, my Best Buy extended warranty kicked in, and no joke within only a few days I had a new replacement microwave arrive at my house and they took away my old broken one. 5 stars for Best Buy being the Hero!
I won't be buying LG again.

Works good, looks good. Nothing fancy but it does what we need it to. The stainless is print proof but the rest of it is not. Good luck keeping the black parts clean and smudge free.
