That is a frustrating feature. As long as you’re aware of it before you purchase, you’ll be fine.

However, I do know there are other options with more advanced settings, and I also find the placement of the buttons to be weird. It’s just not intuitive and I’m not adjusting to it as easily I am for the other appliances we purchased. That said, it’s a pretty minor issue, and a microwave is a microwave - and this one functions as it should.
