    Product is good, but of course after buying. I found it on several other websites for cheaper. Including amazon. Best Buy would not price match, due to their fine print they do not advertise. LG product good, Best Buy will probably be out of business in a few years.

    Very quiet and if the thermostat, as measured by a smaller thermostat is only off by a degree. The technology works great and app works great but it isnt so clear right off the bat...if you want it to shut off when it hits the temp use the dehumidify mode...its not a dehumidifier setting as I thought. It shuts off when the temperature is reached instead of cycling to just fan which basically bliws humid unconditioned air. Its in the manual but most manufacturers call this energy or eco mode.

    Hands down the best portable air conditioner I’ve used. I have to get a blanket when it’s running. Granted, we live in a 1000 sq ft condo in the Seattle area where the temp doesn’t get above 90 very often, so I can’t speak for anything that would require heavier use, but for us it is perfect.

    rec;d no remote or instructions in package...spent 2 1/2 hrs on phone trying to obtain same...no luck with it...Now stuck w/ an air condioner that I do not know how tp operate and no remote...will not purchase L G or Best Buy again...I am 80 yrs old and cannot continue to jump through hoops. Guess I'm out $600. .............................................................................................................

    I hate this thing. Any time this unit is powered on, the fan runs whether or not it is warm enough for the compressor to turn on. I can't turn it on and leave the house with the hopes it will kick on if the weather warms up, because the fan will run non stop. I called the manufacturer and they said this is how the unit operates, the fan runs regardless of whether it's producing cool air. I can't stand the noise of the fan running unnecessarily, I cannot turn it on while sleeping, and it's a huge waste of electricity. I've never owned an air conditioner that has to have a fan running if it's powered on. I wish I had thoroughly tested it before the return window had passed. I'm so disappointed I wasted my money on this thing.

    I bought this thinking it was for an at most 500 sq ft room, when I received the item the box said it was 450 sq ft. I checked the item number to see if the number on the box matched what was advertised and they both matched! If I wanted the 450 sq ft unit, I would've bought that one instead, which is also cheaper than this one. According to the box, it only makes units up to 450 sq ft anyway. UPS was supposed to make 3 attempts to pick it up but only came once. To make sure my return window didn't end, I returned it myself. It was quite inconvenient returning as this unit was very heavy.
