Works very well. Sturdy. Easy to set up. I have not downloaded software yet. Takes place of computers which no longer ship with internal Blu Ray.

It seems to be very well built. This is my 3rd external writer and is by far the best! I'm very pleased that I chose this one!

Works as expected with easy installation via USB cable and power supply. I haven't used the burning feature yet.

It's made for PC, but I used it to play and burn CD, Blu-ray, and DVD on my Mac. It worked great with USB 3 connnection.

I have burned a number of Blu-ray discs with no problems. It works as advertised.

I was having trouble recording my videos. The blue ray had sufficient capacity.

It does overall meet my expectations. The information online was confusing. Other models don't seem to have blu ray player software but this one comes packaged with it. I was looking for a data backup solution. Most sites recommend using M Discs which are more expensive. The software also seems to have a bug for files with the same name that hasn't been fixed. Despite those issues, more of which blu ray disc to use and the bug it does do everything and worked after plugging it in so I do recommend it.

My previous DVD Reader/Writer died and I had to get a new one. I looked specifically for one that worked well with Windows 10, and I found this one. I love all of the features and it works great!

I'm not sure why but this drive shuts down or broken after a little more than a year Thank god I purchased geek squad protection The drive is great other than that I'm pleased with My recommendation is to purchase the geek squad protection more than worth it I've been using this drive for a number of years now

i use this with my computer , and i love the fact that it can play 3d blurays.. i have used this type LG external player for several years.. they handle burning videos and data and playing lots of movies very well.. i am very happy with this product

This thing is real nice, cosmetically clean look, operationally BEAUTIFUL, works like a dream, I copied movies DVD and in Blu-Ray format and makes perfect back ups. I have not found one thing that I do not like, Just plain a great unit !

I bought this since my computer doesn't come with a DVD burner. It seems to do a good job at burning dvds haven't tried to burn any blu rays yet. Definitely would recommend.

So far all is good. No problems burning using multiple engines and playback of 3D blu Ray is crystal clear. The only question now is longevity.

Defeats the purpose of a laptop being thin and light when you have to carry this around, but it does work and is pretty quiet compared to others, it's not whisper quiet but it works.

I've had no problems with this device so far. Except for the software updates (just took more time than expected) it works fine. It is a bit on the noisy side when reading a disc. Will update if any problems appear.
