I connected it via bluetooth to my Sony Bravia TV and the soundbar did not play any sounds via bluetooth. Then, I tried the optical audio port and connected the soundbar with the TV. It connected for a couple of minutes and then it disconnected. Then, it would connect again and disconnect every time. The next day, I tried to set up the system again and this time the soundbar wouldn't even turn on.

Sound quality is no better than the regular TV speakers. Sound has regularly gone out or will only play music without voice audio. Zero bass or range with this unit as well.

Still not happy that LG makes a TV that you need to get a sound bar to go with it. If the speakers in the TV are not enough then that should be corrected.

This product also ads yet 1 more remote control to my growing number of remotes, it sure would have been nice if my cable remote could control the sound bar.

Posted .The remote control of the SK1 can control your TV's power as well as the volume. It cannot change the channel however. Your TV's remote control may be able to control the volume of the soundbar as described on page 17 of the owner's manual https://www.lg.com/us/support-product/lg-SK1#manuals ^CP
