My husband has hearing loss but the sound bar has helped him with hearing the TV . The quality of the sound bar is exactly what we were told for the price ! Never have had anything but satisfaction with any item we have purchased at Best Buy. Sales representatives are very friendly and informative,

It's only 40 Watts but the sound is very crisp clear. Music from movies are very clear and loud. I am pleased with it. Just the right size for my space. Plug and it plays, no programming needed. Great for this granny.

Had a speaker blow on my tv and wanted to fix the audio without breaking the bank and this soundbar is perfect for just that. Volume is lacking when you connect a Bluetooth device though.

Perfect to replace the TV Speakers

I recently purchased a Sharp Roku 50" and the stock speakers leave a bit to be desired. This guy brightens the room significantly! If you are looking to invest quite a bit of money to make your living room the Temple of Boom, there are probably better options out there, respective to price and design. However, for small-average sized living rooms this is a great addition, and the volume is easily controlled with my Roku TV remote (others have indicated otherwise). The included optical cable was a bonus.

The sound does not always come on with the TV and the cable has to be rebooted. Overall sound is clear and good.

I recently moved and my room is bigger so I wanted a bigger screen. Best Buy had great deals on LG products so I purchased an LG 50” tv and this soundbar. First time purchasing a sound bar and I was extreamly excited. I’ve only had it for a week and last night in the middle of my binge watching the sound bar turned off. No matter what I do I cannot get it to turn back on. Even the remote it came with cannot make it turn back on. I know this bar is entry level but I was expecting more use out of it than just a week. Extreamly disappointed that I cannot get it to turn back on. Looks like I’ll be returning this product.

We added the Channel Soundbar which made a 100% difference in being able to hear what was playing on the TV. I highly recommend.

Since this was hooked into an LG TV it was able to use the optical audio feature that had the TV control the soundbar without the use of a 2nd remote. Very important for my mother in law !
