Great speaker, got this for my tv and it performed really well. it is a good speaker but the controller for it has TOO many buttons. soundbar has many uses for tv's, Bluetooth use

I was looking for a sound bar for my 32 inches TV. After researching too much on the price and functions, This one is my choice. Best buy has it on sale plus taxes, about $70 something. I like the price and the brand, and its function is easy to use and practical, especially the universal remote so I can use only my TV remote to control both TV and the sound bar. I think this specific function could not find in other sound bars in this price range. So I am happy for that.

The soundbar is a nice improvement over the TV speakers and it's small enough to fit between the legs of a 48" TV and not obscure the screen. If you remember how it was when TVs actually came with decent speakers that pointed toward you in the 90's and early 00's, this speaker is a lot like that. It doesn't rock the house but it helps a lot. I would only recommend this though if you are limited on space, there are better soundbars for not much more if you have room.

Have a 43in Samsung Plasma TV from 2008 and the volume recently started getting fuzzy when it's turned up past a certain point. Everything else on the TV works great, so a soundbar was the perfect, cheap solution. Was torn between this soundbar and another brand, but then this went on sale, so went with this one - love it! Sound is clear, there is a bass option, and it is pretty loud! It comes with a remote, but my cable and firestick remote automatically connected to the sound on it. You can also connect your phone to it via bluetooth and play music on it. I set it up so the sound comes out of the TV and the soundbar, and it fixed the fuzzy problem completely. Plus, it looks very sleek. Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to enhance the sound in a smaller room.

I needed a speaker that would provide a good sound for movies in an apartment with nearby neighbors. Anything with a sub woofer just wouldn't work because it would disturb the neighbors. This speaker is perfect! It provides excellent sound and provides just enough extra so you can enjoy a movie soundtrack without your neighbors also hearing and 'feeling' what is being watched. The digital hookup is seamless. The bluetooth feature allows connecting to any device a snap so when you are not using your TV, you can make use of the soundbar to listen to music. Perfect for bedrooms and small living rooms and apartment living!

Purchased this for our new patio TV. Since the TV speakers pointed downward the sound was lost. I used the supplied optical cable to connect the TV sound to the bar and disabled the TV speakers. We are not audiophiles but this improved volume and quality a great deal. The only negative comment I have is that with the optical connection we have to control the soundbar volume with it's remote control. That's inconvenient. That's my only reason for four (4) stars. A bonus is Bluetooth capability. If we want to listen to music from our audio systems or phones we can connect to the soundbar.

I bought this soundbar to enhance my bedroom TVs. Easy to connect and with Dolby sound it does sound excellent. I did read some reviews which didn't seem apt. This is not a "Home Theater" system and it is not advertised as such so some people may not know/understand that. It does exactly what it was made for and does so perfectly. I recommend this affordable component to anyone and especially if you are limited on space. LG makes excellent components and I definitely would regard this soundbar as excellent.

I stream regular television, lots of news, miscellaneous youtube videos, watch a few movies. Mainly I like to be able to understand what is being spoken, clear voice, without it being muffled. I think this soundbar is outstanding in that regard. The speech comes through clear and bright. It comes with an optical cable, which though I never even used one before I found it easy to install. My TV has an optical port but no arc-hdmi, so I plugged it in. Took some effort to get the TV control panel set to send the sound out this optical port though, as the TV control setting were confusing. Once I got that figured out, works great. The overall power, sound volume, is more than adequate, fills the living room. I generally have the volume set below 50%.

I have an LG TV in my bedroom that because of the internal speaker placement being in the back required me to crank up the volume so I could hear what was going on. The problem was people on the other side of the wall would clearly hear what was on TV because the speakers were essentially blasting the sound in their direction I added this sound bar and now I can keep the volume low and not disturb anyone outside my room. The sound is crystal clear and has multiple inputs - optical with SoundSync (I use this mode), 3.5mm port in, and Bluetooth. I’ve tested all and they all seem to work well, but I will be using the optical input exclusively as it syncs to the TV and I can control the sound bar with the TV remote

This is a good fit for our small living room. It was easy to install and improves the sound of our TV. My only quibble is that it doesn't come with a HDMI input for ARC so that we could dispense with the soundbar's remote and just use the one for the TV.

It’s good the only feature I’d change is that it doesn’t turn on when tv gets turned on..you half to turn it on separately. But sound is pretty good. Not too bad for the price. For someone looking for a budget item that has the surround feature it makes the audio sound more clear I would say.

Puts out great sound and isn't huge. Soundbar is sleek and compact so it can fit on smaller length tables or stands. Sound is great but certainly could be better but for $80 the sound is better than you would think

The sound quality is good. I like the wall mount ability to get it out of the way in our daughter's room. The bluetooth application makes it easy to switch from the various modalities like TV and phone. The optical connection was a little suspect. It didn't seem to have a positive connection and feels like it could come out easily if sitting on a counter with other accessories but it works fine and there haven't been any issues yet (this review is about 4 weeks after it was installed).

I didn't want to spend a lot for a speaker dedicated to a garage gym and television. The sound is great, it hooks up quickly to any Bluetooth music player is simple to use.

Sound is good. Base could be stronger. The sound bar is good for its size .Good for a small room

So overall this is a pretty good soundbar, it gets loud, gives off the bass we want in our audio. It's got a Bluetooth feature but we don't use it, we just plug it directly into the TV. HOWEVER, even though you are currently using it, someone can still connevt to it via bluetooth, and take over. I just found that out recently, I was watching TV and the audio cut out, and something else not on the TV started playing. Found out someone on the other side of the wall had connected to it. So that's a little annoying. But other than that it's good worth.

This is a great soundbar. Quality of sound is great and easy to use. I can connect to my PC through Bluetooth for music, watching videos, or gaming.

this is a great sound bar option for those looking to add a little “umph” to their audio and video experience. i use it for music and tv/movies and even though i wish the bass was a bit deeper (i love a good rumble, so maybe i’m biased), it has a nice depth and crisp sound to really get the job done. i even went today to buy sound bar with a subwoofer and this product still outdoes the one i got. well done by lg, perfect option for those looking to add a little without doing the most.

I'm using this as a bluetooth speaker for my new desktop PC. Since gaming monitors don't come with speakers I needed something other than my headset for long hours of solo gaming. I'm only giving 4 stars because the led light is distracting to me, and the soundbar only wakes and pairs automatically from a cold boot. If i leave the PC for a while and come back to wake it I have to turn the sound bar on manually. Otherwise its a nice soundbar for my purpose. Bass is lacking but it is what it is.

Custom made for LG TVs! Easy to connect and set up. The great thing is that the unit was quickly connected to both the TV and Cable remotes. Sound is solid for our family room where we watch the news and TV shows.
