Nice Sound, But Defective

But I believe the productive is defective. There are times when you will hear music of whatever you’re watching, but no actual words. And sometimes it completely stops working. Again, the sound quality itself is okay and the price is not, but I wouldn’t not recommend buying this. You get what you pay for. When I bought mine, I actually noticed that several were returned and on sale as “open box.” I bought mine new and still have the above issues.

Posted .Hey there, ChristianM! We hate to hear that your LG - 2.0-Channel Soundbar with 40-Watt Digital Amplifier is not working properly. What it usually means when you hear music, but no vocals you
are incorrectly configured. Be sure to select only PCM 2.0 in the audio settings of your TV. If it is set to Dolby Digital, it will not work well. A sound bar is a 2.0 device, so if you feed it 5.1 signaling, it can act as the left/right speakers, not the center. Only thing is the mounting wholes on the back could be better. A little time consuming to get the screws in . The screws should be longer .

I have it connected to a TV in the bedroom, and the sound quality is okay for a relatively small room, but if you're planning on this being a soundbar for a larger room you may want to consider spending a little more $$ to get a better bar.

I have tried several sound systems with my 65" Samsung TV and this little gem out sounds even the most expensive soundbars. Give it a try. I promise you will not be disappointed.

This was perfect to start out with. I love that it's bluetooth also, so I can hook it up to my phone and play music. Good purchase for a good price.
