Once, linked through TV settings, the volume is controlled through the TV remote. The TV sound indicator will show the volume level. The instructions are not very informational. The soundbar does include an optical cable for audio hookup. If the wireless is working correctly, on router, the soundbar can be operated wireless with the TV remote control. Not all features, on the soundbar remote, can be operated on TV remote.
