Out of the box brand new the optical cable would not fit. Took it back to the store and the sales person said, "they break all the time". Yeah sure! I have been installing optical cables many years without a problem ever.

The sound is OK however the issue is when you want to use the remote to adjust the volume. The range of the IR sensor is weak

I asked our son to hook it up. He said it couldn't be because we didn't have the right kind of connections. He wasn't sure we could get one for our TV. We returned it.
