Works great. Discounted price was as good as I saw anywhere. Pickup from store was just OK. Service was not good.

We purchased the LG 2.0 cu ft. countertop microwave after our old one went out. I wasn't too sure about the purchase at first, as I didn't like the small button on the side you had to push first before opening the door with the large button on the front. Fortunately, you can disable the side button. The microwave does a good job. We use it mostly for defrosting meat, cooking vegetables, and warming up other food. I would recommend this microwave.

This LG microwave has good reviews mostly. It was those positive reviews that swayed me to buy it. I give it 3 stars only for a couple of reasons. First it rocks on my counter which is totally annoying. No matter how much I try to adjust the feet. The buttons are funny as often you need to press them more than once. One thing to know is this thing is HUGE! Way bigger than we need but not a reason to return it. As far as heating up food or water for tea it works great.

Love Love Love this microwave!!! It's the best microwave I've ever had and I love all the features on it as well. I don't have any small children, but it does have a safety latch on the door and if you want you can disable it like I did.

This is newer model of 2 other microwaves I have. Only difference is this 1 has a really nice and easy-to-use door lock. Like this feature a lot. In fact like everything about this microwave.

Pleased with the shape of the interior (somewhat rounded in back) and the space for large dishes to revolve without getting caught, The exterior looks very nice and the alert sounds are pleasant and soothing. Be aware this is a large microwave and takes up space.

Quiet, efficient microwave, great value
My Best Buy store did not have the trim kit. I was advised to have a custom one made...um, nope! I went on Amazon and got the LG trim kit for half of the cost of the LG trim kit advertised on the BestBuy site. That saved me over $200!

Big inside, enough power to warm up everything in seconds. It has little button on the side of the door (have to press down to open )for child safety. I have no complain about the product.

Excellent look, large turn table for my cooking needs. Very easy to operate. I love the pleasant chiming noise during its operation. I would recommend buying it. It definitely needs a large space because of its size (2 Cubic Feet).

One day our microwave worked and the next it didn't accompanied with the classic dying microwave smell so I had to find one pretty quickly. I knew I wanted a larger one that our previous 1.6 Cu unit and at least rated equal to or higher than our 1000w unit. While searching, this one not only popped up that fit the bill but was open box excellent new and local for an absolutely fantastic price, so off I went to scoop it up.
Unit was basically brand new. The box had just clearly went 12 rounds with Mike Tyson in his prime and it showed but all the contents were fine.
Setup was straight forward and it works well enough. It definitely heats things up quicker than our old Panasonic but there are three glaring issues that cost it two stars:
#1. The touchpad is incredibly finicky. You have to touch the buttons just right and softly to get it to work. We find ourselves sometimes striking a button more than once. Once you start to get the hang of it, it is easier but still a problem.
#2. The door open mechanism has some type of safety on the side button that must be pushed in and only then can you push the front to open the door. For someone who is right handed it is irritating. For someone who is left handed like myself, it is basically impossible. This is the first microwave I've encountered that is not lefty friendly.
#3. Non lit keypad and the way it is designed, in dim lighting you can't really make out anything.
Couple a finicky keypad with poor lettering in lower light levels and you will be fumbling around.
Besides that, it has been getting the job done. Some reviews are saying these are dying after a few years so we shall see.
