You Need the Manual

What I have found is that the control buttons are finicky. You also need the user manual because the control panel does not tell you what the option is that you are choosing. Without the manual it is a guessing game. It works easily enough for simple things like cooking something full power for 1 minute. It you want to use any other function you need the manual. If I had known all of this before I purchased it, I probably would have made another choice.

Touching the number paid frequently does not accept quick entries. 2. There is a constant high frequency noise that younger people in the house hear and find very bad. 3. The control pad is impossible to read in low light conditions that I regularly use in the evenings. I really like the general form and cooking is excellent.

To enhance your experience with the control panel, try pressing each number pad button gently with brief pauses to ensure proper registration. If problems continue, reset the control panel by unplugging the unit for 60 seconds before plugging it back in.
The high-frequency sound might be due to the magnetron or cooling components. While some noise is normal, if it's disruptive, please reach out for further evaluation. My family loves all of the features. Glad I was able to disengage the child lock. Not needed in this home but great for families with small children. This is coming from a nurse who works in a burn picu. Overall great microwave. I didn’t give it a full 5 because the door swings shut while you are retrieving your food.
