It has little button on the side of the door (have to press down to open )for child safety. I have no complain about the product.

Replacement Microwave

Repair cost would have been more than half a new one, so went with new. Comparable unit, comparable performance. Only gripe is the musical finish tones are much quieter and hard to pick up if not in the kitchen with it.

Perfect size if you have the counter space

It is amazing when it comes to defrosting and reheating, rarely have icy middles. I also love the cute chimes it makes. And when it's done, it makes a melodic "ding dong" that my toddler loves to imitate. I am hearing impaired. That being said, I was told that microwave noises are meant to be quieter due to widespread customer feedback but if I'm in the next room with the TV on, I can't hear it. Wish there was a way to customize the volume to make it just a little bit louder. Other than that, I'm very happy with my purchase.
