This was a replacement due to my wife cooking for 19 minutes with nothing inside…….. anyway we looked at reviews from Consumer Reports and LG had great marks. We’re very satisfied with the microwave; it’s easy to use, looks good, and gets the job done.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this spacious, feature rich over the range LG microwave, purchased on sale, right at the right time. Having only a couple months so far, this LG model has performed well. The special interior provides easy clean-up of splatters or spills of uncovered food or liquid. My favorite is the 30 second button with instant start, adjustable power levels, and sensor cooking, which I find all smart and convenient. This replaced a Kenmore, which was a solid workhorse for several years and lots of use until the electronic keypad started to malfunction and no replacement part found. And I didn't find a similar priced Kenmore on sale at time of purchased. The LG has good ratings per Consumer Reports for dependability and other good scores for most LG models. I wouldn't try a Samsung microwave again, since I had two of them, back to back, before the Kenmore. The Samsungs had poor dependability with failing magnetrons only after a couple year, each with light use. (I didn't want to "plan on" another purchase in a couple years or less.)

This is very good looking, good working and after all very inexpensive microwave oven!

As a skeptic of Any brand aside from GE I was hesitant to purchase this microwave, However it matched the space I had to fill perfectly. and it was the perfect size for my kitchen. I like that it had a Hood for the range, an oven and microwave all in one. I really like the 30 sec add feature and it takes less time to Heat up food than a normal microwave and the food actually tastes better than using my traditional GE. The downside is that it asked you (under defrost) what type of meat you are defrosting and it wont let you put in the exact weight of the item according to the package. Also anything over 1 lb will cook if you leave it in the packaging from solid frozen. I would also say do not Use on Deep Freeze Meats. allow them to defrost for 1 hour before use. otherwise your gonna have a bad time with that meat. I was also impressed that it did not Keep the Smell of popcorn in it, since it has the Venting from the hood that is sucked right out through your external venting. (if you use it) Super cool

After a few hiccups in our order, we received our LG Black Stainless Steel microwave. It looks great and works even better. Don't get me wrong even though there were a couple of issues in getting the correct microwave, everyone was super helpful and very friendly and worked feverishly to make certain that we were completely satisfied and got what we were looking for. This Microwave works great, looks beautiful but honestly wish I would of read the reviews on it prior to purchasing it as I am use to a clock showing up on the one we replaced. This one has a energy saver and the clock only comes on when your using it. The appearance and quality of it is fabulous but I do miss not seeing the clock on it. That is why I am giving it 4 stars verses 5.

We've had this microwave for a couple of months and have had no issues with it. It works great, it's pretty quiet. The fan is loud which most of them are nowadays. It's pretty easy to clean. I wish it was fingerprint resistant like the LG fridge we have.

Easy to install, quiet, easy to clean, works great!

For some reason, at the last minute we had to choose a different model microwave while in the store finalizing the purchase of our kitchen suite. We ended up with this one which cost a little more than the original one we had chosen, but I was ok with it because it supposedly has a more powerful exhaust fan; 4 speeds vs. 3, moves 400 cubic feet of air / minute vs. 300. However, the fan is loud in my opinion, and the one time thus far that I have created smoke with my cooking I saw it going up in the general direction of the exhaust but not in the grate/ filter area where one would assume it should be drawn. Smoke goes up regardless. So I'm not sure about how well the exhaust fan works. I had cooking smells in the house despite running it on turbo the whole time. The interior is gray, whereas the one we had originally chosen was blue like the interior of the oven we chose, and the clock read-out is also a different color than that on the stove. I would have preferred matching appliances (both are LG of course.) Lastly, the black around the perimeter of the window is so wide that I cannot see what is going on inside unless I stand on my tiptoes and nearly put my nose on the glass. I am 5'7", and I don't like to stand that close to the microwave while it is running. Oh one more point: our previous microwave had "express" buttons, so if you just pushed 3, you got 3 minutes on high. Now I have to push 3-0-0-start. I am ńot too lazy to push 4 buttons, but the express was very nice. And the more buttons that need pushing, the sooner it wears out I am sure. So, I like it fine, mainly because I bought all nice SS appliances and replaced old white ones. Just remembered! It is hard to keep the shiny black face, especially near the handle and controls, smudge-free, and we are a household of two careful adults. It s hard to even clean off the fingerprint-smudges; it just smears around.

We love this microwave! Looks great, functions well, easy to use, and cooks our food to perfection! The entire purchase and installation process at Best Buy went extremely smoothly and well. This is a solid microwave and one of the best for the price. It's roomy and spacious and can hold plenty of food when cooking. I will always choose Best Buy for my appliance needs!

This microwave does all that it is supposed to do. I love the add 30 second button for when I need to do a quick heat up of something. I also like the programmable ones. It doesn't matter that they are located inside the microwave as you open the door to put whatever in anyway. I got the black staninless steel and it looks great!

Large but not imposing, no complaints at all. Quiet and easy to clean

Love the black stainess look. Bought appliance package and really gives kitchen a high end upgraded look. Microwave is used the most, cleaning kid's fingerprints is must easier than traditional stainless. But you will see fingerprints unless you wipe down after every use. I keep paper towls and multi-surface can spray nearby. Spacious, removable rack.

Love the look of the black stainless from LG better than other brands. The microwave is working well so far with the exception of the Popcorn button that we loved on our Whirlpool we replaced. However, on this new LG, that function has been overcooking and burning the popcorn so far.

I bought an LG microwave less than 2 years ago, it died. Truth be told, the guy at Lowes talked me into it, hated it the whole time. Went to Best Buy and bought the one I wanted originally. It's quiet, has lots of options, kitchen timer, etc. Couldn't be happier. PS-The folks at Best Buy were super helpful as well.

Function: We've only had up a couple weeks, but works great thus far. We like that it's relatively simple and straightforward unlike most appliances today. The eco-light is nice so there aren't so many lights on after dark. I'm not crazy about the light underneath--its rather dark and could be better. Installation: We installed an exterior vent for this ourselves, and our recommendation to the manufacturer is 1. print the instructions on two separate pieces of paper (vs. front/back) so that one can cut out without damaging the other side and 2. Provide the retailers with copies of the templates or put online to print out. We could have used a copy of the template prior to purchasing to make sure we had enough clearance for the vent relative to some items on the outside of the house.

Lots of room inside. Easy installation. Looks great with my new stove.
