An awesome Microwave with all the great features. The only con...is when turning on the light underneath the microwave to light up the range top, that light is so hot, it heats the glass turntable inside the microwave. I actually called on that matter and the rep. checked on that issue and they told her it was ok. Nothing to worry about. Other than that, we love the micro!!!

This Microwave has been a solid, reliable unit for the 2 months (Jan 2022) we've had it installed. The cooking selections have made it easier to use and the space inside seems enormous. One item of note is the accuracy of the 'leftover' options ... they appear spot on with the single button selection.

The purchased LG micrwave replaces a ten year old microwave from a different manufacturer that ceased working. To date the LG microwave meets all of our expectations. Items that represent an improvement over that of the microwave the LG microwave replaced include: A significantly better touch padand an interior easier to clean.

I purchased the LG LMV2031SS in December 2020 and the microwave was great. However, this week (4/2/2022, less than 16 months of use) the control panel section on the front of microwave has come loose. I’ve called LG customer service and they believe a screw that holds the panel in place came loose. The bugaboo is, the screw isn’t accessible without disassembling the microwave, which should only be done by a microwave service center. And, since it’s 4 months past the warranty LG won’t fix it. I’ve yet to call a service center to get an estimate, but you can imagine it will be at least $200 to fix. While the microwave is still working for the time being, I anticipate running into more problems in the future due to the apparent lack of quality and long term durability. In the attached photos you can see on the top-right corner the amount of movement there is in the panel with the screw missing. It wiggles/moves about 1/4” every time a button is pushed on the control panel. Unbelievably annoying and very very frustrating for this to happen with an essentially new microwave.

The microwave operates about the same as any other. The functions are great and easy to use. The shelf could be positioned a bit higher in the cavity and a larger observation window would be helpful because I’m so short I can’t keep a check on things. It’s always good to spot a boil over before it makes a mess. Minor issues, only problematic for short folks. The product is everything you could ask for in a microwave.
