    Do yourself a favor and just buy a cheaper microwave because that is what you're getting with this thing. I have owned it for approx. 18 months. The light quit working about a week after the warranty expired. Some days it will melt butter in 30 seconds, some days it is two minutes all on the same power setting. I have a LG washer and dryer (over 10 years old), an lg range and an lg dishwasher. They all have been great appliances but this microwave has definitely changed my mind on what the quality has been recently. It definitely is not reliable.

    The size and operation of the microwave is very good. The only problem we've had thus far is that during the installation, one of the upper bolts to hold the microwave to the upper cabinet, the bolt stripped. Rather than taking the whole thing down and returning it, I replaced the bolt. Everything else has been good.

    overall i like the microwave but there are certain things i don’t like such as there are no backlights on the controls makes it hard to see without lights on .And if your under 5 ‘7” you cannot see the food cooking .

    I am so very happy with this microwave. I love the asthetic modern look, the timer function that still keeps going while you use it, and the modern timer sounds. A huge upgrade. Ten out of ten. LG does it again!

    I’m so glad I replaced my old microwave. This one is spacious and quick. I’m especially enjoying all of the presets. A small sauce is that it is a little noisier than my old unit.

    Have had problem with Microwave - twice the Microwave does not shut off. Had to go to fuse box and trip the switch. Called LG - they said not a big deal. Will take care of itself. !!!

    It looks like a tv in my kitchen. Which I don’t like but it works and does the thing well. My only real issue with it is there are two option for sounds. Way too many or non at all. I hated how many sounds it makes so turned it off now I forgot my food done all the time. Mixed curse.
