    Not happy

    I bought this as a gift for my husband for Christmas. He was super excited. But every couple of minutes, the sub woofer disconnects, the light goes out, and the sub woofer sound drops out. No matter what we do it won’t stop. After lots of googling, we saw another review where geek squad came out to replace the unit for another customer assuming it was a faulty piece of equipment. But the one they brought did the same thing. The sub sits directly next to the soundbar, so not having it in the right proximity is not the reason. I’m just glad I didn’t pay full price and got this on sale. I think I’d rather trash it as opposed to selling it. I’d hate to anger whoever were to buy it from me.

    It stinks

    This soundbar and wireless subwoofer had great ratings and had a great discount leading me to think that I was getting a great online deal. But alas...after receiving I set it up and the sound quality was light years worse than the 28" vizio I got this LG to replace (because I moved the vizio to a different room). So disgusted with the wasted effort, I took the LG back to my local best buy getting a full refund. Just recently I bought a 36" vizio soundbar with wireless sub from someone other than Bestbuy since it has a better remote same as my 28". Just hooked it up this morning and it sounds great. So just because it has great ratings doesn't guarantee it is any good as was the case with this LG.

    Volume level automatically changes

    It worked great and sounded great for the first two weeks, but now the volume level constantly goes up and down on it's own. I replaced the fiber cable, tried different settings as well and nothing has worked. I think I may have received a defective system. Unfortunately I no longer have the original box that it came in so I don't believe I can return it to Best Buy. Not looking for a different system, I just want this one to work like it should. If it wasn't for this issue I would definitely give it 5 stars. It sounded very good when it was working properly.     Sounded Good When Worked

    After a quick set up with very little to do, got this hook up to a LG 49 Inch 4K TV with no issues. Sound was good. Well at first. Certain channels everything worked fine, however during viewing of New Broadcast or Football, all vocies became nearly indistinguishable. After a few days unit would randomly raise and lower volume. The final straw before returning this was when it started to play music over the TV sound. Which is curious, since never hooked up anything to the sound bar that produced Music. Any device that give this much problems within the first week I can not recommend to anyone.

    Would not recommend!

    Sound quality was poor...I purchased this to replace another LG soundbar from a few years ago because the woofer failed. Wow, what a disappointment this was compared to that one! There is only one sound choice option: Cinema. Or "Bass Boost" which didn't boost anything. Sound was flat, boring and didn't give the surround sound feel that my previous LG soundbar did. I hated the look of the actual bar...it's not attractive and has no words on it so you are relying on red dots which mean nothing. Save your $$! I returned for a different model, hoping for a better experience.

    Wish I Could Use Product

    Really wish I could review this product. The soundbar and subwoofer came in a very obviously digned up and previously opened box. There were 3 items missing (remote, power cord for soundbar, and usb cable). Called Best Buy customer service and they were so rude and absolutely no help - forwarded me on to Samsung (this is an LG product). Decided to contact LG and they were fantastic! Will be getting the missing parts soon. So in reference to the product...I’m not sure how it sounds, but I will never buy from Best Buy again. Such a headache!

    Never heard sound from it at all.

    Plugged it in. Power is on. And no sound is coming from it. Tried the optical wire that came with it. No sound. Tried going back to my optical wire. No sound. Tried turning everything off and then back on. No sound. No idea why no sound. I've been pressing the volume up button on both the unit and remote and the light blinks registering the signal. But still no change.

    This sound bar does not synch properly with the TV. I have called tech support and visited the staff at Best Buy several times. You have to use a separate remote as the TV does not switch the sound bar off and on nor does it cancel the TV sound when using the sound bar. Sounds like you are inside a tin can. It's absolutely terrible. Don't count on help from LG. They are morons.

    Sub Cuts out ALL the Time

    Nice design and nice rice on special, but it is basically garbage otherwise. The bluetooth subwoofer cuts out constantly which is extremely annoying when watching something. t really detracts from the experience. I should have gone with my gut, waited a bit, and bought a Sonos PlayBar. Unlikely to buy any crap from LG again.

    Terrible unit

    The unit has two critical faults: 1) The Bluetooth drops ALL THE TIME. Can’t listen to music more than 20-30 minutes without it cutting off. 2) The speakers have very limited low volume capacity for background sound All in all, though it sounded like a great deal, I wish I had spent more on a better unit. Drives me nuts.

    Avoid at all cost

    The sound quality was okay, but this thing had serious delay and lag issues. Not to mention the sub was weak for its size. Also had problems keeping the thing synced up as sounds would sometimes not play at all, unless there was consistent sound coming through.

    Don’t do it

    Listened to this at the store and it sounded great but doesn’t get as loud as the LG tv we bought. Very deceptive and a waste of money. I was very disappointed and would not recommend this. Buy the vizio or some other brand. Not worth the money

    Constant Problems

    Very poor sound quality especially for the price and our unit constantly cuts out and has trouble pairing. It is so annoying to deal with. I have tried multiple optical cables with the same result. Just simply does not work 1/5 the time.

    Can't stop other Bluetooth connections

    The speaker does not require you to press a button to pair a phone/tablet/etc., meaning anyone can connect to the device at any time. My neighbors connect to it and turn it up all the way.

    Very easy to setup but every few mins the sound would cut out for 2-3 seconds. After looking online it is an common issue for LG and there is no work around.

    Product worked fine on its own, but sales man at bestbuy specifically told me that you could use it with a receiver but you can not so I had to return it
