I recently added the LG S40T soundbar to my entertainment setup, and I couldn’t be happier with the performance! Right out of the box, the installation was incredibly easy — it paired seamlessly with my TV and even let me control everything with my TV remote thanks to the convenient WOW Interface and HDMI eARC support.  The sound quality is excellent for a system at this price point: the 2.1-channel configuration delivers clear, balanced audio for movies, shows, and music. Dialogue comes through crisp and intelligible, especially with the Clear Voice Plus feature, and the wireless subwoofer adds impressive depth and bass that really enhances action scenes and bass-heavy tracks.

I’m really impressed with my LG 2.1 Channel S40T Soundbar and wireless subwoofer! The sound quality is excellent, delivering clear dialogue and deep bass that enhances my TV-watching experience. The setup was quick, done by Geek Squad, and the wireless subwoofer adds powerful sound without the hassle of extra cables. It’s a great upgrade to my home entertainment system, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for great audio performance without breaking the bank!

Overall this soundbar is pretty great. We have had it just under a year. At first we had some trouble with it disconnecting but I think it’s because we bought a universal remote and it wasn’t paired correctly. We haven’t had any issues since. The sound is great and it’s very simple to use.

This sound bar dramatically improved the overall sound quality versus the tv sound alone. Setup was easy and the app to control the sound bar works well. Nice compact design so does not take up to much space. Definitely recommend.

It works well for a TV setup in a bedroom, it can't replace a sound system for a family room TV setup where 5.1 sound systems would be better suited but is just fine for a smaller setup. The interaction between the remote and the sound bar can be interesting because there are only a few LEDs showing what is happening. I still haven't figured out when I am adjusting the Sub volume vs the Soundbar volume. The initial setup for the sub was a little confusing to get started and to know that it worked but I was probably just overthinking it as it seemed to connect just fine in the end. Overall, it is a good product for the money and will work well for smaller setups.

This sound bar was on sale for 138.00. I bought it to use with my new LG Smart AI TV. Was glad I bought it. the size and sound makes it a perfect match.

Make a big audio impression with the slim and compact S40T. With 2.1 channels and a convenient wireless subwoofer, this soundbar fills even smaller spaces with amazing audio—without taking up a lot of room. The Dolby Digital and DTS Digital technologies give you quality sound for the content you use. I still gave it a 5 because once I got everything set up to my LG TV the sound quality for using it in my office was wonderful. The only thing was I was not able to use the Optical Audio cable that came with it. I could not get the TV remote to control the audio for both. I ended up using the Arc (HDMI) option and then I was able to use just one remote to control the sound on the Soundbar in the optical/Arc setting of the TV.

Sound quality is great Bass subwoofer sounds very good. It connects Blue tooth very easily and maintains connecqtion at a long distance range. I definitely recommend this equipment. Super Sound Bar

I would recommend this if you want something for a bedroom sound quality, this is a great option for that but for a living room that you want loud might not be the best option for that, other than that this soundbar is a great option overall.

I honestly didn't know what to expect from this soundbar. I listened to the in-store display model and it impressed me. But after I purchased it, brought it home, and connected it to my TV, I was pleasantly shocked from how full and rich the sound was. The bass sounded massive, and the midrange & treble were loud and clear as well. Plus, I found it on Black Friday, so the unbeatable price was a definite bonus. Would I recommend this soundbar to anyone looking for one? Absolutely! You won't regret it. I promise you that.

Ive used this for 3 weeks now and so far, i have no issue with it, im using it via optical input. The sounf and woofer works as intended. One thing, somehow my tv doesnt have a feature to disable tv speaker even though i output it to my sound bar so tv speakers and sound bar both active at the same time. I have to mute tv speaker so there is no sound confusion The sound quality is 10x bettet than my tv speakers for sure, i cna hear clearer sound and voices. The woofer makes the loud bass sequences sound better This is all personal experience. My experience varies from yours.

LG hasn't failed me yet. I've owned everything from phones, to kitchen appliances and this sound system is no different. The set up instructions arent great (it says its wireless but the instructions were were based on wired connections). Otherwise it's great. The sound quality it excellent.
