Sounds good enough for living room. Although somehow it randomly switches to Bluetooth and sometimes random stuff happens. I’d spend a little more and get the SL5Y model.

Feels like we’re at a theater with cinema mode on. Seriously huge addition for our tv sound. Makes movie night that much better! Love the sleek design and easy setup too! Optical cable included is a huge help.

Easy to set up .great sound. Used a heavy duty optical cable I had. The one that came with unit was thin and cheap. Came with a different controler than showed on LG website. takes getting used to.

Sounds good for the price range and intended use. Instructions and support are not clear or helpful if you are not tech savvy.

Bought this about a year ago. Unfortunately I am just not overly impressed with it. The sound is just average. The so-called surround sound is pretty much non existent. The volume is probably good for smaller rooms, but for our open area, it is not great at all. For us, it was not a great purchase. For a smaller room, it would probably be ok. Looking back, I wish I would have spent the extra for a better system.

The subwoofer goes in and out at times. Other than that, great soud bar and subwoofer. I will be getting the additional speakers to add onto it.

Probably not the best for a really but room but does the job for our living room. We only use it for movie nights. Easy to set up and get going.

I bought 2 of these because the saws price was really good. I had to return 1 because it did not sound good on a Samsung tv. The other one was a LG tv and the sound is amazing!

I am generally very pleased with the look and feel of the product. The sound is perfect for the room that I have. I do not need any more than the 300W, so it is ideal for a small home or apartment, or condo. There is one quirk i do not understand though - every time i turn it on, the volume is not where it was when i turned it off. Every time i turn it on, the volume is almost to the max, and i have to immediately have the remote in my hand to turn the sound down to avoid upsetting the neighbors. I am wondering if this is normal? Anyone else have this same issue? Other than that, it did take a few days to get used to, but now it is very pleasing and the sound is crisp and clear. Thank you.

I bought this as a gift for a friend who had a tv with poor sound quality. This soundbar substantially improved the sound, now I can hear conversations on tv and understand the words. Huge improvement in sound quality.

Paid the Black Friday price for this and gave it as a gift. It makes listening to all programs like you are in a theater. Thunder crashes and other booming sounds seem much realer than built in TV speakers.

This is a good sound bar with the excellent bluetooth feature that you can pair with other devices (apart from your tv). Just don't expect world class sound at this price point. The sound is what I would characterize as a good sound stage with plenty of volume for most average size rooms. Everything about this sound bar is "sufficient". It's certainly a big step above the TV's built-in speakers. I would recommend this to someone who wants a little taste of that cinema sound but has a limited budget.

This soundbar works great! I prefer to use "opt" function over Bluetooth. I like the fact it comes on with the tv and the tv remote controls the volume with the tv's volume if you want that. The price wasn't bad either.

It was good . Good sound quality with write opt cord . Bought a new one because the one it came with wasn’t amazing but other than that worked great.

Must say my niece loved this new sound bar her husband reported it was very easy to set up took him little over 15 minutes. It sleek and looks very nice under their mount 60 in lg

I got this as an open box system. It is nothing spectacular and has to be controlled by the remote that came with it. I simply added it to my universal for ease. I don't know that I would buy it for full retail, due to the limitations of inputs/outputs and remote control. Does have good sound and can be expanded to 5.1 surround with the additional purchase of the surround speakers.

This turned out to be a great deal. Was looking for a soundbar and researching for a while, ended on this and was such a good decision. Easy hookup, easy Bluetooth connection, sounds really good.

Great sound nice slim profile definitely looks and sound great under our 65 inch Dry happy with our purchase highly recommended just looking for a compatible wall mount that does not show too much
