Great sound. Great price! You can have the bar at a normal level, or you can rattle your picture frames. 10/10. Also. Very easy to set up. On a level of squirrel to bill gates.. it’s probably a hamster.

Sounds very good. I can use my tv remote, dvd remote, and tivo remote to control the volume. Easy to setup. The soundbar shows the vol level. Excellent deal when it is on sale. Buy it when it is on sale.

Overall great sound for the sound bar, once you figure out the best setting for your space. Although there's 4 different settings, only the Cinema settings works the way you expect. All other settings require high volume to hear a clear distinction between your TV speakers and the sound bar. The small but very powerful subwoofer works perfectly, but it requires it's own power connection, which I don't mind. Great overall value and have gifted this item to other family members.

This set is Awesome and for the price you can not beat it! Easy set up and this thing bumps.. If you are looking for a good soundbar with subwoofer this LG is the one. I am happy with this purchase.

Good sound bar for today’s weak TV’s. Wish it went a little louder. Also powers itself off if you pause TV for over 3/4 minutes. Comes right back on, but have to keep the remote close to hit power. Stinks because it’s synced with a universal remote, but we have to keep a second remote close by or else turn everything off to get sound bar back on. All to take a quick call or make a kitchen snack run. Overall, does the job, just a little quirk.

Well look for something that wouldn’t break the bank but sounded good. Found it! Not bad. Got Reid of an old system upgraded to this. So far no complaints and hooking it up was a breeze. Simple with great sound!!

This is a very good soundbar. I upgraded to this from the very lackluster Roku soundbar and I have to say that I am impressed with it so far. It has good sound quality for the money and the subwoofer gives it a nice bass boost. Easy to set up and use. Just hook it up and it does the rest for you, however you can adjust the settings if you so desire. Recommended for a smaller room. It is just right for my small living room. I thought I might need the 3.1 channel but this one suits my needs just fine.

It's really easy to setup and the sound is pretty good. Not mindblowing, but pretty good. It works best if you have an LG TV in the first place. If you do the setup is an absolute breeze, and everything works great through your regular remote. The subwoofer is good but the spatialization is what's unimpressive. Overall I'm happy with it. I've gotten so used to it that I barely notice it anymore; until I turn it off. Then I turn it right back on. Like I said, I'm happy with it.

Simple setup, decent sound. Problems: NO HDMI connection. You will hate it. If connected via optical, it can't determine if the tv is on or off, so you have to use two remotes. If connected via bluetooth, it can't detect if the tv is on or off, so you have to use 2 remotes (and the tv complains that it can't find the speakers when you power on). With optical, I couldn't control the mute/volume from the TV control. Bought an LG because I figured it would all work together, but you need a SIMPLE HDMI connection to do that. PAY FOR THE UPGRADE to get the HDMI, unless you don't mind having an extra controller getting underfoot (or lost in the couch cushions). Will probably return.

Picked this up yesterday, thinking, if it gave me decent TV sound, I'd be happy with it for the price at, $179.00 (on sale). Then I watched a Harrison Ford Action Movie. WOW, I was IMPRESSED !! Today, I decided to check out Bluetooth Music from my phone; AWESOME !! The highest I've gone or had to go on the volume, was around 15 -17, and at that, I needed to turn it down. I probably prefer the Cinema Sound Effect, even with the music. It came with absolutely everything I needed to hook it up to my TV. If it doesn't die or something, I will be Completely Satisfied !,

There may be a slight bias here as my home is mostly LG appliances/TV's/ Devices. Investigating several price ranges I found that at this price point this is the most exceptional for a soundbar/sub combination. LG has always made great products that have lasted. It goes great with the pair of rear speakers model: SPK8-S Pro: Great sound and is loud for price point Con: Expect to buy a longer optical cable if planning to mount on your wall

bought this sound bar mostly with a gift card, so def worth it as far as my out-of-pocket cost...i haven't really been able to use it to its maximum capacity yet, but i feel that it is more than adequate for the size of the room it is in (approx 12x14, lower level)...pretty easy to set up, too as i recall, although it was a month or two ago at this point (no additional trips to the store, which is frequently the case for me when i buy items like this...lol)

Incredible sound for the money. I've never had a soundbar, so I figured I'd pick up a cheap one. I figured if it proved worth it, I'd pick up a higher end one for my living room, and move this to to either my office or bedroom. Frankly, I'm not sure I need more than this. It was a significant upgrade to both my movie viewing, and gaming experiences. I run through optical (included) and it took no effort to set up. Plug it in, good to go. Plug in the sub, no screwing around required, it connected without incident and that's all the effort needed on my part.

This soundbar unit is a nice add on to my Samsung TV! Movies and Music sound incredible. Set up was quick and easy and, subwoofer had decent bass.

Got this for my brother. He's not particularly technically savvy (I run an integrated amp with my KEF Q150s, will be going full home theater before long) so a soundbar is the right move. Way better sound than his TV speakers, not to mention pointed right at him, and the sub provides more than enough low end for his needs. For the $130 sale price I couldn't imagine a better purchase.

I really enjoy this system, so much that I went and bought another one for my basement/man cave! This may not be the top of the line, but it is perfect for my needs. It is very simple to install, VERY simple, and was up in no time. The sound is very crisp and the subwoofer is equivalent to a mini Rolling Thunder. I actually purchased this LG system by mistake, but it was a mistake for the better. I also have a Bose system, but in my opinion, this is perfect for me! I would definitely recommend this system to anyone who wants a simple set up and really good sound.

Easy to set up and good sound for a smaller room. Got it on sale so was a good value for the price.
