DTS X is great, sync'ing voice was an issue

It has a real punch. Had lots of voice sync problems with the TV I was using (Vizio) using just the optical connector. Could never resolve so took it back and got the other version of this that has HDMI for ARC and CEC.

Not much of an upgrade over the TV speakers

I had to return the first purchase since it was defective. The replacement produced acceptable sound, but I ended up getting a Sony amp and remote speakers to get a good sound system.

Decent soundbar sans center channel

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This soundbar performed well for what it was, but the lack of a center channel and the desire to have a larger subwoofer led me to return it to purchase, first the SL8YG, then ultimately the top-of-the-line SL10YG. If on a budget and looking for a wider soundstage than your TV can provide, go for it.

The service man set up the TV. In an efficient manner, showed my Wife ,and I how to run it . We’re very happy with Best Buy..

Very Happy

They helped us purchase a new one, installed it and made sure we were happy before they left. The sound is excellent and really helps some of the family that is hard of hearing without blasting the rest of the family.
