While watching television the bass will stop working then come back continuously. At first it was easy to ignore but each time it happens it is more annoying. Now I just avoid watching tv so I do not have to hear it.

Bought open box fair condition. Picked it up at the store and they only gave me the speaker and sub. No box or cables. Had to order them from eBay.

we bought this sound bar instead pf the one we wanted and it didn't preform as we wanted. sound was loud one time quite next we returning it and getting the one I started to buy first time

Had to return this item twice to Best Buy. Even after speaking to LG on the phone many times. Would not recommend.

Shipping was quick. I cannot rate the product as, the soundbar arrived without a power cord or remote control. I have been unable to contact customer support to rectify this problem. There is no answer at my local store, and I cannot hear anyone when I call the 800 number. I would like to have the power cord and remote shipped to me, so that we can try out the soundbar. Thank you in advance.

Had to sent it back because bass would not work best buy would not exchange it so had to ship back to LG still waiting

We had this soundbar installed for less than 30 days and it stopped working. Very disappointing.

I went through two different LG sounders, trying to get them to work with my LG 4K TV. Neither of them was satisfactory. I couldn't get the sound to sync with the picture no matter how much I worked with the settings. I ultimately decided to forgo a sounder and just use the TVs built-in speakers which are satisfactory.

Have problem with first one sound would not plat with the hdmi arc connection try four different cable worked with the optical cable returned it for another one. Worked fine with hdmi arc cable for about three weeks and stop working again only works with optical cable very disappointed. Been over three weeks and cannot return to store.

In the products including EarPods are written but I did not received them.

Purchased this and I regret it. The sound bar is not bad; but often, the subwoofer cuts in and out randomly. I purchased it even after reading the reviews about this in hopes that LG fixed the issue. I was wrong. It’s extremely annoying and greatly effects the viewer experience. I will be returning it.

Both of these speakers are garbage. Very poor sound quality, keeps losing Bluetooth connection consistently & the subwoofer won't even connect anymore. Now I have to save money to buy a better quality speaker system after I just bought these speakers in 01/2020. SMH!!!

slightly improve sound over tv speakers. nothing too significant

This is my first experience with a sound bar. To save space, I got rid of my 5.1 surround receiver and speakers a few years ago but I was tired of just TV sound. This is a pretty good alternative. Pros: The sound quality is far superior to the LG TV Speakers I currently have. The setup was easy (I had to use Optical because all my HDMI ports are full on my TV). The pairing with the wireless sub-woofer was also very easy. The sub-woofer is small but powerful. We have ours tucked behind the sofa and have had no issues with it losing connectivity. I like the ability to easily pair it with my existing LG remote and TV so the volume on all of them moves simultaneously. Cons: I don't like the lack of user controlled sound profiles, or the inability to tweak the sound coming out of the speakers. I was hoping some sort of equalizer via an app would be available. Of the three or four built in profiles usually one of them is good enough to hear what I want to hear, but overall it's a bit heavy on the bass and sometimes on certain movies/shows the dialog is difficult to hear. But having said that, it is still far better than the TV speakers on those same shows. If you're looking to stay on a budget but have something bigger and better than TV speakers, this is a good way to go.

Sub-woofer doesn't always work. Other than that, it's ok.

There is less than 1 decibel of bass from the useless faux subwoofer the bar sounds like it's in a tin can. I deeply regret buying this and wish I had tried it before the return period ran out. I will be dropping it at goodwill.

Worst sound bar I've ever had. Tried it for 20 min. and unhooked it. Volume goes up and down with out notice. Uneven sound. Just not good quality. Returning tomorrow.

Not a good product for the money. It wasn’t very compatible with the LG 75 inch TV. The speaker on the TV is better quality and louder than the sound bar. I ended up returning this item.

First off, this is a good system to get for somebody who isn't satisfied with TV speakers, yet doesn't want to get into a complicated and more expensive receiver based surround sound system. This soundbar is also compatible with LG's wireless rear speakers at an additional cost. Positives: + Good sound quality for the size of the speakers/sub + Included subwoofer is wireless + Supports ARC + Has USB and Bluetooth options for music play + Supports the LG Music Flow Android App + Included remote is full function Negatives: - Lacks support for 4K resolution using the HDMI input on the unit - HDMI jacks are very hard to get to if you have a stiffer HDMI cable - This unit is very picky about which HDMI cables will work - Price of this soundbar is higher than many LED 4K TV's. - LG Music Flow app not supported for Apple The lack of 4K video pass-thru using the soundbar HDMI is a real let down. This soundbar retails for $279.99, which is kind of pricey. I paid under $250 for a 49" LG 4K TV, so it seems odd to think that the soundbar cost more than the TV. The sound quality is pretty solid for what this is. The sub being wireless is a nice touch, but I would still keep the sub closer to the soundbar. I have no idea what the soundbar speakers are capable of bass wise and don't know what internal crossover is set for this system, but if you move the subwoofer too far away from the soundbar you can tell exactly where the bass is coming from. This is known as "localization" and not something you want in a system. Keeping the small sub closer to the soundbar will help blend the sound together better. The sub itself is small, about the size of a bookshelf speaker. For it's small size it does a decent job, but not anywhere near what a real subwoofer is capable of. Overall, not a bad 2.1 soundbar in terms of features and quality, but the price is a bit high. I would wait for a sale to hit in the $150-$200 range before buying this soundbar. I have this set up with a LG 49" 4K TV and LG Blu-Ray player in my basement for my daughter's "apartment" and it does the job well enough. If you want an improvement over your TV speakers, but don't want to go full blown receiver based surround sound, a soundbar is a good option.
