Good budget soundbar at sale price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall good budget sound-bar at $119. Would not pay full retail price for this unit. Note, the Insignia $79 (sale) sound bar sounds just as good, but without the LED display. Best Buy description says sound-bar settings can be configured via app. (This model is not supported.) LG App Control: None (SN models not supported) Setup: Easy Ease of Use: Easy Preset Sound Modes: Yes Voice Clarity: Good Bass: Good X Virtual Surround: Fair Overall Sound: Good Optical Cable Included: Yes

Not the hype, but not a fail... I'm midway
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this on sale. Pro: For what it actually hits. I was playing around and was kind of underwhelmed (Especially with the bass). Then this came out of nowhere on certain music videos and movies. Some things it comes in strong in a clean way. Quality build, which is a LG staple. Cons: 1. There's no app for this. This thing is lying to you. LG has apps in this area but they either don't work at all or don't work well. They basically just did a app to say they got one and to get data. Site has no controls/software for controlling these either. Honestly that would've been legit if they did. I have this hooked up to a PC that I built. It doesn't work with other remote apps... well because it's a soundbar and it's not on wifi. This is a big thing for me because the most important controls are on the remote and not on the bar itself. Also I don't want to remote hunt. 2. Settings are kind of trash. The modes are ok...ish. The base, treble and the other thing does go far +5 to -5 . For the sale price I'm not expecting it to but I would've returned it if I got it for the normal price. 3. The instructions are lacking. It tells you to go to the web site for better instructions. This is good at the sale price

Poor speaker, but decent value
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you’re looking for a bare bones entry level speaker, this is it. Sound is not premium, but For the discounted price, this will fit the need in my basement. Won’t be used a ton and will likely encounter more toys thrown at it than hours turned on. With that said, it connected super easily with my LG Nanocell. For that I’m actually impressed. Although It is worth what I paid, I Can’t give it more than 3 stars. I don’t want people thinking this is a high quality speaker.

disappointing overall peak volume.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hooked it to an Sony X85J that i purchased at Best Buy and this was on sale for $119, down from $279. It received good reviews so i thought "what the heck" The bass is decent. The overall peak volume is terrible, the TV gets much louder with more treble than this unit. It works about 60% of what the tv can do, if the volume is turned all the way up. It is frustrating to have the volume turned up to 90 or more and the sound be only decent. You can't hear anything at all out of this soundbar if the volume isn't turned up to 75%. This unit might do ok for a small bedroom or so. I didn't expect much for $120, but I would be very frustrated if I had payed full price for this, but regardless I will be returning. It just doesn't do enough to keep it for the bass alone. i wish i could use my tv volume while keeping the subwoofer hooked up only.

Underwhelming Performance for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Thought I would be upgrading from my Logitech Z623. I was quite wrong, while this system offers a little bit more clarity in sound, the bass is very underwhelming. Try turning the volume up past 14 and everything just gets muffled and distorted. The subwoofer just becomes a low treble speaker. I had the subwoofer sitting next to me and could barely notice it over the sound bar's audio. The only upside was the fact that there are 2 less wires for me to deal with in this setup. Overall not the best first impression. I'm already planning on returning this product whether or not I get even close to a full refund, cause otherwise it's just going to collect dust. I honestly expected better for being almost double the price of my Z623 which was purchased over 5 years ago.

You get what you pay for
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product is ok. For the money I paid for it, it’s ok…. It was very difficult to get it to connect to my tv. After 2 days of fussing with it, finally it connected. The sound has a delay to it when I turn my tv on. It’s not very loud. I’m used to bass - booming loud when watching a movie. Now to hve it on while watching normal tv, the sound is so much better than the speaker with my tv. So there’s pros and cons. Would I recommend it? Sure !! For like the bedroom

Sound bar
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An amazing soundbar until it randomly started turning down the volume instead of turning up when I hit the up button. It drops about 10 then I have to turn it up and halfway through it drops down in volume again.

Mediocre at best
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered this sound bar from the BB website. As is the new normal, it arrived a day later than anticipated. I had out of town guests when it arrived and didn't get to unbox and set it up for about 3 days. When I did, I followed the sketchy instructions. The sound bar and subwoofer do work but the remote doesn't work at all! Now the window to return it has passed. A big disappointment but I guess you get what you pay for!

Not as good as expected results, see full review.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not bad for price paid, just not the easiest to adjust levels of treble, bass and woofer mid-range sounds. Instructions are worthless and don't show or explain this procedure, you have to figure it out. Streaming shows; the sounds are way too much woofer and bass even after making minus adjustments. Would not buy again.

Not bad, sadly dead sub woofer
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this from the clearnace warehouse and forgot to buy warranty. A month after use, the subwoofer is out. Can't return, gettin only half the experience. Speakers are good for small spaces like a bedroom. They are bad if bought second hand, but not worth it full price.

Not loud enough, too much bass
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This setup unfortunately did not work out for me. The subwoofer is massive and took up a ton of space on my tv stand. The sound quality wasn’t much louder than the volume coming directly from the tv, and the bass was thumping so loud during certain parts it became impossible to decipher the dialogue. Maybe this would be good for action moves but not so much for reality tv and heavy dialogue type of shows. I think I’m going to spend a bit more and get a sound bar that doesn’t require a separate subwoofer. I got this on sale for $150 but I think I’m going to need to spend $200-250 to find what I’m looking for. I’m sad it didn’t work out because with this SoCal hot summer, I am constantly running my portal ac unit and fans and it’s just impossible to hear my tv with all that running in the background. I was using the included optical cable to connect it to my tv, and if I had purchased an hdmi cable instead the sound quality may have been better. I think the hmdi cable should have been included for something at this price point
