However, it never paired correctly with my sony 85j tv. I ended up having to pay for totaltech to send a geek squad member to figure things out. IT was determined to be a defective soundbar if not defective tv. They ended up replacing both

I bought this on sale still think its a great deal for ehag i got it for $99 but we didnt have a place to put it for almost a month woe and behold when we open the brand new sealed box its missing the remote and power cable…. Outside of best buy return window so they told me to kick rocks but atleast lg is sending replacements still sucks to have to deal with this inconvenience

The sound on this one is a bit underwhelming and not worth the price. The subwoofer is pretty big for not giving off the best sound. My Vizio sound bar subwoofer is half the size and gives off better sound.

Good for the $$.. but…..

Ultimitely this is a low range soundbar that is good for a bedroom or small area like an office, or chill spot in a garage. If being used for music only i believe you are better off buying a good bluetooth speaker. I bought this for music and “maybe” movies, football, bball etc. after first weekend i use this only for music in another room and bought a sony 85j tv and sony z9f for my chill spot where i listen, watch tv the most

Good step up from a low cost TV's sound, but...

But that's not saying much about overall sound quality, 'cause it's pretty low cost. Paired with an avg low cost TV, and this should improve the sound a bit by filling in the low end via the sub. It's not earth shaking loud, but ok for general level listening. Paired with a high end TV, like the LG 48" C1 OLED I purchased, and this actually sounds much worse than the wonderful built in speakers and distinct sound profiles provided by the TV.

However, the sound is quieter than other units I have purchased, and it keeps turning itself off so I have to turn it back on to reconnect it to TV (ARC/HDMI). Sound when you turn it up is ok and sub stays connected (issue with prior TCL unit).

The sound quality is only slightly better than the tv and that’s mainly due to the subwoofer have deeper lows. The sound bar itself is not better than the tv speaker of an LG C1 or comparable.

I thought it would bring the sound closer to were I sit so I could keep the sound level lower. The only sound that is closer to me is the bass and that is not what I was looking for.
