This LG microwave is expensive but I bought it for the features. I love the expanded vents. So far it works well. The popcorn feature is something that companies miss out on. Most microwaves burn popcorn as this one did.

Heats foods up twice as fast and it is very quiet while running can barely tell it's on. Aesthetically very pleasing everyone compliments me on my new addition to my kitchen. Would definitely recommend this microwave!!!

I wanted the superior ventilation of a hood and chose this unit for that reason. It even has a feature that extends the vent if needed. So if you find yourself in a similar situation this is the one!

We wanted something quite with comparable features. The LG was not the highest rated on Consumer Reports, but it more than exceeded our expectations. It is very quite and easy to operate. We installed our selves, but I would recommend having Best Buy install as it is very heavy and takes two or more to install and get right.

Only downfall is that I can't see my food while it cooks but that's due in part to the narrowing viewing window + it's above my stove & I'm short. Best buy installation came on time and moved very efficiently.
