Previous owner of a LG OTR Microwave. I really, really liked this unit. I was hesitating to buy it, concerned would it fit as, it was 2.2 cu ft vs. I currently had a 1.9 cu. ft. Purchased the item brought it home and read reviews on the installation to give yourself enough clearance between the stove top and door opening. This one had to be returned as it is too big.

What a great microwave! While everyone else is taking down over the stove microwaves to put in fancy vent hoods, I installed mine over the stove. It has all the settings I could ever use and it’s so intuitive. But I really love the vent fan and pull out feature! It moves 500 cfm and comes out forward over the burners to capture all that steam and smoke that used to come into the kitchen.

Wonderful kills 2 birds with the extention hood i saved on a hood. Functions quielty chimes great!

Easy installation did it myself with help from YouTube. Looks good in kitchen with smart oven.

We bought this as part of a package for our new home. We like the size as it enables us to do larger items. The cooking is spot and it has some, but not too many, bells and whistles.

best feature is the the exhaust fan covers the stove below. great simple microwave wave that works as advertised.

This appliance is for a new build and has not been used yet. Looks good and appears to be of good quality, but has not been used.

The vent fan was the selling point for me. The fan is good but the overhang feature does not improve exhaust.

I am brand loyal to LG so reader be ware. My family likes the microwave so far. Had it for about two months. The one touch pre programed settings are more useful thank I thought they would be. I had to change the vent direction pre installation. Instructions made it this task easy. Very happy with purchase.

I like this microwave and the air vent that comes out over your range. It does a good job at removing odors and the steam when we are cooking. I also like all the features it has and the access to the buttons horizontally. The only thing I would of preferred is if the outer shell would protect against fingerprint marks. I know most stainless steel appliances do get fingerprint marks, but there are some that have some type of coating to protect against that. So far, the microwave is doing its job as we need.

The vent fan is great and it is easy to use. I don't ever read directions so I have had a bit of learning curve for all of the options and choices but that is to be expected.

Great microwave, the extendable vent is great. Only issue is like others have noted, the window in the door is a bit too small, and the interior light is too dim.

Good suction, LARGE interior capacity, love the extended fan feature. However, was too loud for our needs. catches grease well.

Love the size and features, the extractor is a little gimmicky

Have had microwave for about 3 months and it is easy to use and works great! The light for stovetop is bright.

This replaced a Jenn-Air over the range microwave oven I accidentally burned. Quality is not on par with Jenn-Air and I can tell the difference in the way things operate (quietness of turning plate, door closing and opening, pressing of buttons, etc. This product is still a great value for the cost, it is of nice build quality and very functional. I mention the comparison against the Jenn-Air in case someone is downgrading from a high-end product to this, so he/she understands it will not be the same...but gets the job done and it still looks good.

I can't believe how many short cut features are available with this microwave. Pop popcorn, push a button. Melt butter, push a button. Warm up leftovers, push a button. It's amazing.

The extended vent is awesome, and actually Removes the the steam while cooking The lighting inside is somewhat dim

This microwave looks so good above our LG range. The perfect compliment to a kitchen. Made with quality material.
