Best microwave I have had. Easy to clean, quiet love the display at the bottom

Great mixcrowave! We had one issue when about a year into having it, but our warranty covered the sensor. Otherwise the microwave works and looks great. Really like the extendavent while cooking.

This was easy to install. It fit perfectly for my in law's kitchen.

The His microwave does a great deal, but is very easy to navigate. The new dark stainless adds a very appealing look to our kitchen.

Bought LG Extendavent 2.2 microwave as an open box and is completely satisfied. The condition of my microwave was excellent.

This is a beautiful appliance. It looks great in our kitchen and cooks great - and evenly. I have two main gripes about this microwave: (1) It is very difficult to see the food when it is cooking. There is an interior light that stays on while cooking, but the shade on the door itself (the tiny black dots) almost fully cover the glass, so you can't see your food while it is cooking, i.e. cheese sauce boiling over. (2) It would be so much easier to use if the keypad was backlit. I typically keep the lights dim in our kitchen and sometimes find myself using the flashlight on my phone to see the keys. The extendable tray for the fan works great and the product itself is solid.

As a range hood, this thing is pretty great. We had a whirlpool gold builder-grade OTR, that collected maybe 40% of the cooking fumes. This OTR collects 80% of the fumes with the same rated air flow. I'm asian, and I cook alot of stir fry, and we tend to use high-heat and on the front burners, and the extendavent has significantly improved fume capture. The microwave is pretty solid. Works well, and the all-glass face was an upgrade for us. One nitpick is that you have to remove your finger to register 2 presses, so hitting the +30 second button 6 times to get to 3 mins is a bit more of a chore. The 1 less start is because the extend-a-vent build quality is not what I would expect for the price. When it extends, it works well, but it feels cheap, and is mostly plastic. It doesn't extend firmly into place, and kinda needs to be pulled the last 1/4". Out of the box the materials felt thin and too light. I can see how alot of these get damaged during installation and delivery. Once it's installed, everything feels solid except for the extend-a-vent, which needs a better track and stronger springs. We are about 2 months into using this OTR, so time will tell how reliable it is.

Pros: Perfect size. Great features and finish. Excellent steam/smoke vents. Cons: plastic tab that holds metal tray melted. Clip on top plastic section appears to be snapped. Not sure if that was from new, or somehow from the door when closing.

I love this microwave. This replaces a much smaller older GE that just wore out after 14yrs. The extend a vent is what sold me and it works like a charm. No more wiping down upper cabinets. Lots of room in microwave - makes heating up leftovers a snap.

This happened to be an open box special that I was kind of reluctant to purchase. The salesman, whom I have had help from on past occasions, assured me that nothing was missing and there was no damage. He was right, and it went up easily. And the frosting on the cake? The controls are on the bottom of the door! This is something my wife loves due to her only being 4' 10" tall. The unit is also whisper quiet and cooks fast and evenly.

This microwave works so well that we went back to Best Buy and bought another one for our recreation room kitchen. I love the extend a vent feature because it removes the steam and cooking odor better than the others. It heats up milk without boiling over and cooks everything just right by simply using the right settings which are displayed just inside the door where it's easy to see.

We ordered this microwave along with new double wall ovens to complete our kitchen appliance update. We love the functionality and features. However after install, the microwave failed to function properly as a part was defective. Customer service was efficient and easy to coordinate replacement of faulty parts. After the "fix" we have had no issues and we love the extend a vent feature.

Easy to use and exhaust gent is really good. Good size interior for cooking.

This is the second microwave that is exactly the same model as the first one. First one lasted 10 years with some rough use. The movable front fan makes the steam from the stove underneath goes where it needs to go not up the microwave glass.

This is our third LG microwave in the past fifteen years. Not bad by todays standards. All have been this model or it's version over the years. Missing on this one is the infrared warming option. Guess it is no longer a choice. I like the controls across the front. Much easier to reach. Interior is easy to wipe clean. Just be aware it is a dark gray and the light is not super bright. Extending vents work well.
