Love this washer! For a compact it can hold plenty of clothes. It does a great job cleaning the clothes and I love how well the spin cycle does what it’s supposed to do (We had a new washer 5 years ago (different brand) and it was awful—wouldn’t even go into the spin cycle. I’d definitely recommend this washer to anyone looking for a compact model.

This is an excellent option for people with very limited space, particularly limited depth. I couldn’t find any washer of this quality that was currently available, affordable, and met my depth requirements. (And I think it’s actually an inch or more deeper than the specs say.)
A lot of reviews mention the noise and or/vibrations. Sometimes it is noisy and there are vibrations, depending on the load and cycle. I live in a small, older apartment building and I can hear/feel when neighbors are running their own machines, and this one is far from the worst offender. The machine also seems to have a built-in sensor so it knows when it’s off-balance, and it will try to turn the drum a bit to readjust. What’s weird if that if you add a rinse cycle after a completed cycle, the drum seems to spin much smoother.
Also, use soap sparingly. This is a smaller than average washer, so when the bottle says to use minimal detergent, use even less, or else you’ll get suds at the end of the load. You’ll get the feel for it after a few loads. It’s easy to add another rinse if you need it. And if you’re coming from a non-HE washer, make sure your previously laundered items don’t have residual soap suds in them. Lastly, be sure to wipe excess water from both the gasket area AND the detergent dispenser area after the load is done. A lot of water can get trapped in the latter. Do that and leave the door ajar, and you’ll be good to go. I’m at five months in and used the cleaning cycle monthly, and haven’t had any odor issues yet.

Everything comes out clean. it's pretty quiet but you can't use all the functions unless it is linked to your phone. And the print is tiny and hard to see.

I purchased this LG washer 2-3 weeks ago. It is very easy to set up and program. Very quiet, even when spinning at the end of any cycle. So far so good.

I don't think I can put into words how much I love this washer. It washes huge loads and does a great job at it for a compact washer. Its quiet efficient and fits in the tiny spot that I had to fit it in. Best washer ever.

The size is perfect and being ventless is awesome. The problem is with the price. I should have purchased the Samsung version. It seems that it does the same thing and it's much cheaper.

Love the washer/dryer combo. It may look small but it actually holds a lot. Very efficient and works like a much larger washer/dryer! Would buy again. Wish I had switched sooner.
We love to see this feedback! Welcome to the LG family. ^Jennifer

We love this washer. It does a great job cleaning our clothes. It's far quieter than its predecessor and being a front loader, it's far more water and energy efficient.

Great purchase. Washer cleans very well, is quiet, and fits in the space! There are a few too may settings which won’t be used often but we are thrilled to have it.

This is a small apartment size washer but surprisingly it can wash quite a bit of laundry to a load. The machine takes the weight of the load into account for the amount of time needed to do the load. Very nice washer. The spin cycle leaves the load with very little water in it so it drys pretty fast

Less then a week and a handful of washes but this is so much better than my previous. To start with I have a VERY limited space in a less then normal closet. But the previous washer drum was 2 and now 2.4. A much noticeable size difference for the load capacity. Much more quite and the spin cycle dries the laundry much better than my older one.

I've yet to find a "great" compact washer, so this review and score is relative to compact washers (so don't compare to standard sizes). It gets the job done. Not as many features or cycles.
Biggest issue is cycle time. Most loads take 1 - 1 1/2 hours, with towels, sheets, etc taking more time.
If you can fit a bigger machine, I'd recommend it. If you have a small space, then this will get the job done. It was a replacement for an LG compact washer that broke shortly after the warranty ended.
