Buyer Beware. I purchased this fridge from Best Buy on February 10th with a promised delivery date of Saturday March 4th. The morning of the delivery appointment after confirming the appointment just 40 minutes earlier, Best Buy called to cancel & told me they couldn't deliver the fridge for another 4 weeks! After a long delay, the fridge was finally delivered by Best Buy on April 5th;. Then, on Nov 7th, only 7 months later, it completely broke down. The control panel stopped working (non-responsive with 3 dots lit up but won't adjust) and the temperature in the fridge is warm. I tried to contact Best Buy for assistance on Nov 8th & instead of helping me they attempted to sell me Geek Squad coverage. Next I contacted LG to try to get the item repaired under warranty which has been a nightmare. LG lost my original repair request on Nov 8 so I called back Nov 13 to file another repair request. They told me someone in their service network would pick up the repair. A week later I received notification of a Nov 28 appointment with a tech by the name of Jason. This tech was a no-show.... Over the 28th and 29th he texted excuses that the van broke and his mom was in the hospital and then he no longer responded. I called LG again Nov 30 and LG said another technician would pick up the repair. I requested a call from an LG manager regarding the no-show tech and never got a call. Meanwhile, another servicer picked up the job with a scheduled appointment on Dec 6. Again, we waited for someone and nobody ever came. The new servicer is now saying they didn’t have a needed part with no ETA. Meanwhile, LG has been sending text notifications over the last 5 weeks that parts have been ordered yet there are no parts and no repair. It is now December 18th and the LG fridge I purchased from Best Buy has been broken for 6 weeks and I can not get it fixed under warranty. Best Buy corporate office knows about this issue and has flatly refused to do anything to help resolve it. So far I've lost 3 workdays waiting around for repairmen that never showed along with $500 worth of Thanksgiving groceries.
DO NOT ORDER APPLIANCES w/ BEST BUY. Furthermore, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BRAND or MODEL! Save yourself the time, money, and frustration. Go somewhere else.

I don’t know where to start.First i purchased a different fridge online,talk to someone on the Best Buy chat to make sure before I buy the fridge,that I can get the doors switch to the other side the lady told me yes, I ask if I had to pay extra she said no when the delivery guys come I told them to switch it they said this model doesn’t switch,i told him the lady from the chat told me it does so he proceeded to switching it and in fact it doesn’t and that he already reported that to Best Buy so he didn’t understand why they keep on telling people it does.So i called Best Buy told them I wanted another fridge that I can get the doors switched to the other side,they told me to choose another one so I did and when it finally got here there was a huge dent on the back so I didn’t even bother on plugging it on.Again another week with out a fridge so I call them again and I get my 3rd fridge delivered and I pug it on and the door alarm doesn’t work,by here I’m way over done with Best Buy but I called them again they said they would send me another fridge I told them no,I need a fridge I can’t go on like this!!! There’s always something so since the fridge comes with warranty they send someone to come look at it and when the guy gets here turns out the fridge doesn’t come with a door alarm.So tell me why does it say it does,oh and I did make sure it did came with it before I choose it but ones again they lied to me and not one person I talked to multiple people to make sure it did came with a door alarm.

Got this delivered today 2/9/24 after waiting a month because they are out of stock in black color HUGE MISTAKE that should have been my sign not ro get but i still waited over a month. After it was pluged 3 min literally a huge sound from the condenser started like a broken car engine lound and annoying. Dont trust the good reviewa here on best buy as LG as i found out LATE is having a class action law suit againt this company for having bad compressor because they dont last at all i wish I knew before . I drove back to BEST BUY and exchanged it for insignia for $500 instead of $700 . Hopefully i have better luck with a cheapr refrigerator.

This fridge does not come w/ any optional ice maker that works with this fridge despite what BB's & LG's websites say. LG (on their own LG website for this fridge) is telling BB that the ice maker that should fit this freezer is Model "LK65C"/ SKU "6282606". That's false. I bought this fridge in Sep23, & had it delivered in Oct. BB has tried 3 times as-of today to order, wait a month to get the part from LG, & try to install the LK65C. When the fridge was delivered the wrong ice maker was put onto the delivery truck. The 2nd & 3rd times (3rd=today), the installers opened brand new boxes labeled as a "LK65C" in front of me but neither of the 2 ice makers were compatible with this fridge. The problem is that the female electric plug on a brand new LK65C comes as a 4-prong plug. The built-in male plug inside this fridge is a 6-prong plug. After waiting for months to give BB a chance to work w/ LG to find the right ice maker I'm unfortunately having to return this fridge & am looking for something that has an ice maker built-in from the factory.

Do not purchase. I lost a total of four batches of ice cream due to the freezer suction being inadequate. You close the refrigerator and the freezer pops open.

I ordered this a couple months back on sale. Quick and easy installation and it was great. Tuesday afternoon it suddenly exploded. No idea what caused it so stay away from this refrigerator.
