Looks great and has a ton of space

This refrigerator is great for an apartment. It is roomy inside but it fits into small spaces. The doors and drawers have tons of space. The operation is extremely quiet. We do not hear when it turns on or off unless the door is open. We also love the door alarm. If someone forgets to close the door, it sounds until it is closed. This is a great feature for kids or annoying adults who stand there and contemplate life with the door open and all the cold air escaping. Overall, I am really happy. So far I have only found one negative - the shelf spacing in the refrigerator is such that the tall items such as my water filtration pitcher on the top shelf are so close to the ceiling that they freeze. I have yet to figure out a solution. The pitcher is too tall to fit on a door unless I remove one of the door mounted shelves. If I lower the top shelf, I will lose space down below. It is a small price to pay for an amazing refrigerator. If anyone has a solution, I am curious to see it.

I love the size, the style, the fit! I purchased this to replace an older model refrigerator w/top freezer. I had to bend down all the time and the veggie bins were on the bottom. There was never enough room for the usual frig stuff and I had to keep moving things around. This LG French Door refrigerator puts every thing at eye level. Gives me enough room for a full size platter( could not do that in a side by side) and the freezer has an ice maker. I did not buy the unit with the water in the door.Cost was $400 more..I keep water in bottles and the water dispoenser was an unnecessary add on.

We've had the LG 21.8 cu ft, French door refrigerator for a couple of months+ now. Everything works great! Plenty of light in the fridge and freezer. Ice cube machine works great. Slide out freezer shelf is awesome. No built-in water filter, so I just put one on the water supply line behind the fridge. I had a little bit of freezing in the fridge, which has gone away after moving the temp from 37° to 38°. Drinks are ice cold, and the temperature is consistent throughout the entire space. We love the slide out drawer at the bottom of the fridge. Perfect for cheese, snacks, even some leftovers if not too bulky. Has an easily disabled door alarm (if left open for more than 60 seconds). I ran the diagnostics shortly after installing, which showed how many times and for how long the doors were open. No errors. You can use the LG ThinQ app to view these figures. Make sure you check the user guide to download the report to your phone. Hope you like yours as much as we like ours!

Contemporary design looks good. Quiet operation. Nice adjustable shelves and bins. I wanted a bottom freezer unit and this was my best choice. French doors, by their nature, need to be pushed shut. LED light location top front thus items toward rear of lower shelves are in shadows. Outside finish does show smudges. I am not using the ice maker by choice. Bad design of leveling feet: screwed tight up to the chassis at the factory. Plastic foot restricts access to nut so needed a special thin wrench to loosen. Instructions advise to use a screw driver, which is pointless.

Good refrigerator buy for the money

This refrigerator is compact and basic for a French door unit. It is good looking, does all that a refrigerator needs to do, and holds an adequate quantity of food. The only downside is that the full width shelves cannot be easily adjusted because the doors don't open far enough to allow the shelves to be removed. The solution is that the mounting screws for at least one top hinge on a door need to be loosened so the door can be raised enough to clear the stop on the bottom hinge. Then the door can be opened further so the shelves can be removed. Otherwise, the refrigerator is a great buy for the money.

I previously had a side by side refrigerator and bought this Samsung. It took some getting used to with having to open the refrigerator doors at the top instead of having handles on the doors. But I like it now. With both refrigerators being 22 cubic feet, I seem to have more room in this one. I like the bottom freezer too as it can hold a lot. I recommend it.

I have a small apartment and wanted a stainless French Door fridge with bottom freezer that would fit. This fills the bill nicely. I can live without an ice/water dispenser on the door. Seems to be high quality, I like the way it seals itself when you close the doors and I like the bell that tells you if you’ve left the door open although this can be a little annoying when you’re rummaging around. The freezer is BIG compared to conventional top freezer models—a Thanksgiving turkey would be no problem. I’ll be interested to see the actual energy cost over time but it’s Energy Star rated. Also, good price.

Have had refrigerator for a month and we are happy with its performance. Temperature stays steady in both frig and freezer sections. Love the ding when a door is not closed all the way. Lots of room and shelves provide wide space for big platters. Delivery and installation servicemen were excellent! Two things I don't like are that there is not enough space for tall items like milk and pitchers, and the front is not as easy to clean as I hoped. Must use stainless cleaning wipes to avoid scratches and streaks. Otherwise, a great appliance.

Bought item for my Dad for fathers day as his old one broke. He loves the big ice compartment and the door alarm. All surfaces are easy to clean to include the stainless steel door and handles. The digital temp display allows for no more guessing and keeps foods in the right temp. There is a lot of space for condiments and juices in the built-in door compartments. The best thing is, all compartments are adjustable making storing tall bottles/containers easy to fit. The only thing he complains about is the audible noise when the ice maker is filling up. Other than that, he loves it.

I would recommend this refrigerator! It is only 29 inches wide....which was great for our limited space but it is very roomy. The doors will hold a gallon container although we removed a shelf for taller items. Ice maker is the best and most quite I've ever had! My favorite is ... If the doors or freezer drawer is open to long it has an alarm. Great for kids!! Magnets won't stick to the front but will to the sides. Overall it is my favorite fridge I've owed!! Highly recommend Best Buy.... Excellent customer service!!

While i didn't realize this was deeper than my old fridge, I do love the extra room it provides. I wasn't happy about it being totally stainless (no magnets) but I compensated by using a stick on hook to put my wall calendar and grocery list on and its now totally fine.

I purchased this nearly 18 months ago and I still absolutely love it. Plenty of room in the fridge and the freezer is a generous size. That is wonderful for those of us who buy a lot of frozen food and the main reason I chose this style. It works well and is very quiet. Looks nice, easy to clean and moves easily to clean behind it.

If you can only spare 30" and want your freezer on the bottom, there are not a lot of choices out there. If you get this at a good sale price, there is a lot of quality there for the money. Mine is uniformly cold throughout, good lighting, tons of space and plenty of options for moving shelves about. Runs very quiet except when dropping ice. Ice bucket WAY bigger than I need, must hold 20lbs. of ice.

if you're looking for a slimmer (30" or less) width fridge, basically in french doors, it's this or samsung. i've tried both. and while it's hard to tell the difference between the two, the main difference may be some shelf configurations. just under the crisper, there is a flat pull out compartment--good for cheese or pies. and the samsung doesn't have that--and actually not only do we use it, but it's well designed to not need both doors open 90 degrees plus to use it. also, another small difference which is less important to me is that there are tiny door pouches--butter stick sized--at the bottom of the doors. maybe a snickers could go in there. anyway--for those two reasons--i'd slightly prefer the LG. otherwise, they're pretty much the same in all ways. i do love the ice maker--hope it won't break too soon--but the shape is decent. and oh yeah, one other difference is this will provide you with a target temperature as the read out. while the samsung uses a sort of bar meter (like your mobile signal) to let you know what temperature you're targeting. anyway, i prefer this slightly over the samsung.

This refrigerator is exactly what we were looking for, it fit Great underneath our cabinets where most we were looking at simply would not fit, we went from a standard refrigerator with the freezer on top to this model and found this to be much larger on the inside-there's room for everything and then some even during the holidays when you have all the extras, but yet it has the same footprint as our old one and takes up no more space, Love the digital controls set it to the exact desired temperature, also has a nice look and feel it doesn't feel cheap like a lot of the other models we were looking at even at much higher price points, The drawers look and slide nice, the ice maker makes more than enough ice for the family, I just can't seem to think of anything we don't like about the refrigerator, I would suggest if you're looking for A French door refrigerator check this one out. And Best Buy had the best price believe me we shopped around.

We bought this LG French Door model as a second refrigerator for our pantry, so we didn't need anything too large. It turns out that this refrigerator has more useable space than we imagined. It has good drawer space and the compartments on the doors are nicely sized. It operates quietly and looks great. I would definitely recommend this model.

There is a lot of space, the bottom freezer is great. I do not need ice. I can turn off the ice-maker. It gives me more space. Some complained that the compressor is loud but, no, it is quiet! The compressor of my previous fridge died in 3 years. I decided to get one with extended warranty. LG's refrigerators come with 10-year warranty. It gives me peace of mind.
