Purchased May 2021, Best Buy sales Rep. Zoe, delivery and drivers all excellent. My suggestion read the product manual some negative issues posted are normal. It would be nice if normal issues are available before purchasing. New technology is an adjustment but it has its pros. Not a quite refrigerator for the price and plastics freezer could be better. Also makes different noise and sounds depending on what the refrigerator is doing ie.. making new ice, water replenish, ice cube dropping, umm and for no reason I can’t figure out other’s noises but not all the times. I notice condensation around the inside door vents from the water first couple of weeks not an issue now. I purchased on sale and 5 yrs. warranty due to negative past history issues and ratings/reviews. I enjoy my refrigerator and so does my grandson. Sometimes it’s just a hit or miss with new appliances and new technology. Size capacity small not for me just right and love to see organization. Cons-no adjustable shelves, doors are heavy and take an extra effort to shut insta view door but the door alert helps.

I’m so glad I bought this! Purchased it online and delivery was a breeze! Delivery was on time and the guys brought it up to my second floor with no issues. Love the door in door feature! My second favorite thing about this is the ice tray. Comes in so handy. It’s pretty quiet. I do feel like the left door slightly slams when I close it compared to the right but it doesn’t bother me too much. Would definitely recommend this item!

We love our new refrigerator. We never had one with an ice maker or water dispenser. The refrigerator is so quiet. It has a slick design and fit perfectly. We would have lost footage in our kitchen if we didn't go with a counter-depth model. Even though the refrigerators that are not counter-depth is less expensive, it is worth ordering it with counter-depth. All our appliances are LG now and never had an issue with any of them. Best Buy is amazing!!!!

This is a beautiful fridge ...layout of shelving is thoughtful in design. Love the easy access door we use it often. Counter depth did not seem to reduce usable storage space but did make a difference in how far it extends into floor space, it takes up less area made my kitchen look bigger. Has 2 ice makers 1 in door with another inside freezer area .... nice feature.

A definite upgrade from what I had but it exceeds my expectations. Did a lot of research and was hoping the noise that people complained about wouldn't be too extreme...in my case, I don't even notice it! The front door is super convenient! Lots of space in both fridge and freezer. Extremely satisfied with this upgrade to my newly remodeled kitchen.

I was in the process of purchasing a new home and this refrigerator added to character, functionality and technically advanced option that was perfect for my home needs. The large capacity and the instaview feature was just what I was looking for.

This is the first time I have had a french door refrigerator, and I will never buy another one that has this feature. This product is barely an inch in each direction, but has so much space than my old one! The freezer is very well thought out with different heights to help you get the most of the space. Highly recommend!

Love the size, efficiency, space and usability. Love the look as well. Sleek. Instaview is a cute accessory.

Great refrigerator and perfect for our space and new Reno in kitchen

I bought this with a Memorial day special 2021 at a great price, I got the counter depth model and glad I did, it has soo much space inside the larger one would have been overkill and took up too much space in my kitchen. I love the design of the fridge; it’s just beautiful to look at every time I go into my kitchen. The door in door glass window is fantastic, and I use it all the time without having to really open the doors but a few times a day. It has an awesome double tap feature on the glass that turns on the led light to let you see inside and decide what you want before you open the door, great for kids and adults. The lower door in door shelves are great to put bottles of water, juice boxes, yogurts, and snacks for kids that they can easily reach without opening the main fridge doors. The dual Ice maker feature is great, one in the freezer, which turns on and off with a switch if you don’t want to use it in the freezer to have more storage space, and one in the door built in. The indoor Ice maker is so much nicer than having it stuck on the inside top shelf which takes up space. It has an air filter to take away food smells, and a water filter. Also, it makes absolutely No noise whatsoever, you can’t even tell it’s plugged in if the lights didn’t light up on the front panel. This has an inverter, energy star to save you money, and I love it compared to my old fridge which made so much noise all the time. It cools amazingly well and the settings are super easy to adjust, it has wifi as well to connect to you phone via an LG app. It has a door alarm that sounds if you leave it open too long. Lights inside are great, it lights up everywhere, nice cool light tone, plenty of shelves and storage for fruits and veggies with humidity settings, and a long drawer along the bottom where I put meats, bacon, cheese, cream cheese etc. This long drawer does not have any settings of its own. The overall space is great in the fridge, there’s still space left over after organizing a full grocery shopping day in there for leftovers in plastic containers. Milk gallons and juice bottles will fit standing up on the shelves inside, 2 liter bottles of coke or wine bottles will have to go in the door shelf to stand them up, or just lay side ways on a inside shelf. When you do open up both french doors the inside just looks really nice and well made and spacious. Nothing looks cheap on it the adjustment panel also looks super nice and easy to control, they did not overlook the panel in the details of the fridge. The freezer has plenty of space too, we like to store a-lot of meats in there, no problems for that, and frozen vegetables, fruits, and ice cream with the ice maker going as well. I had it delivered to my home, and paid like 30$ for them to take away my old fridge. I was told to wait 24 hrs to let the new fridge cool correctly before filling it up with food, so we just filled up coolers with ice to store the food while the new fridge broke in. I would totally recommend this fridge to anyone, and so far everyone who has seen it in my home has loved it too. Great job by LG with this one. 5 stars.

Fits perfectly in the space. There’s plenty of room in refrigerator and freezer for the 2 of us as well as parties. Love the ice maker and water dispenser. Also the internal freezer ice maker so plenty of ice. The Insta view door is great for items frequently used. Grandkids love to knock on the door!

We love our new LG French Insta View Door-in-Door Counter-Depth refrigerator and freezer. Although it has a smaller capacity than our previous side-by side refrigerator/freezer, we can find food items much more easily. The door-in-door feature allows us to quickly grab a carton of milk or condiment without opening the larger doors. It keeps our food really cold and fresh. It has two ice makers, one in the door that makes cubed or crushed ice and another in the freezer, and a cold water dispenser in the door. The freezer has three compartments, which makes it easy to find items in the freezer as well. The refrigerator has a sleek modern style that looks great in our kitchen. The shelves are shallow in the counter depth model, so it cannot accommodate a large pizza box, for example; however, we just put leftovers on a plate instead.

our old fridge was a standard size, and took up what felt like our entire kitchen. Counter depth is a game changer! Having said that, this fridge is great. It makes ice fast, stays cool, and the door-in-door is soooo convenient for when you just want to grab a drink or condiments and not open the whole thing. The only thing we don't care for (and maybe we just need to rebalance it) is the left door slams shut pretty fast and we worry it will break. Other than that, love it!

I purchased this and had it delivered within one week, which in this pandemic is pretty fast as I found the majority of appliances were backordered. Delivery was stressful, as I did live on a multiple story condo but the delivery guys were troopers and ended up having to disassembling the refrigerator to get it to fit the stairways. Otherwise once everything was connected it has been functioning perfectly for the past few months. Love the wifi features that notifies me if I left the door open on my phone. Also the Instaview Door was quite handy for quick access items like beverages/sauces. Overall it has been working perfectly, pricey but perfect. No complaints, the freezer drawer is nice and deep and the drawers help to stay organized. The counter depth also goes a long way to help the overall depth so it doesn't stick out much.

We've only had this for a month, but it has been very easy to use. We ended up using the door in door feature multiple times a day, putting milk, yogurt and other daily quick reach items in there. The wife puts her prepared smoothie ingredients there so she can just grab one and mix it. The dual ice maker is nice, had one or two ice cubes fall over the edge and underneath the drawer in the freezer a few times. Our old freezer was a 10 year old side by side and our food stays so much fresher in the fridge and the freezer no longer warms up and cools down. We have definitely stacked the freezer drawer full a few times and it is nice having the wider, larger space in both the fridge and freezer to store food. The only thing we really miss is having larger fruit and produce drawers in the old refrigerator, though the deli drawer works well for the cheese and other items. Was concerned because of a number of reviews with compressor issues, but everything has been great so far. Bought the Best Buy Insurance for a few years, just in case. Hopefully we won't need to use it. Delivery guys were great, a small scratch on the floor pulling the old one out, not a big deal. They let us keep the packing box, so our son has a fort to play in. Every kid needs to play in a refrigerator box at some point. The doors do close hard sometimes, but as long as you have the stands screwed down to keep it in place it won't move around. I'll have to check the manual to see if I can increase the time before the open door alarm starts beeping, we've definitely set it off a number of times. Overall we really like our new LG French door style and it has been a great improvement over our old refrigerator.

The refrigerator has been in our home for about two months now. There have been no issues with the performance of the the product. As a counter depth refrigerator, it fits our small kitchen space perfectly. The water and ice (top and bottom) and air filter are great conveniences. If you have never owned a counter depth refrigerator, you will find that the capacity will likely be less than your standard depth device. It did take a little adjustment to the capacity and being sure to have a place for items needing refrigeration. On the other hand, it now is holding a 20 lb. turkey in the freezer without a problem. So, I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a counter depth appliance.
