The fridge is very modern looking and sleek. Everybody that has seen it has commented on how great it looks, and the overall aesthetic it brings to the kitchen. The instaview window is a cool feature to show off to friends, but ultimately isn't very practical. Overall, it seems to use space efficiently, and it seems like we can fit more stuff than our previous fridge, even with the counter depth taking off a couple inches. That said, we had to move some shelving around to simply fit a 12 pack of beer bottles onto a shelf, since they are naturally spaced a little funny. The freezer isn't huge, especially with the craft ice bin taking up shelf space, so if you freeze a lot of things, it may not be for you. A couple of small gripes from our personal product experience is 1) the water stream on ours comes out slightly crooked, which may not seem like a big deal, but at this price point it was a little annoying. It also doesn't fill up a cup very fast. 2) The main ice maker works great/fast, but doesn't hold THAT much ice for parties or coolers - it also had one situation where a ball of ice got stuck at the top, so the ice maker "thought" it was full, when it was practically empty - i had to manually remove the blockage. 3) The craft ice is a cool feature, but it's been about 4-5 weeks and we our craft ice still isn't perfectly round (the manual says this COULD be a water pressure thing, but can't be totally sure, since our water pressure seems fine otherwise in our kitchen). 4) The middle drawer is awesome (we use ours for canned beverages and wine), but could technically be additional freezer space (although it's not very tall or deep - for example, you can't fit a 12-pack "fridge pack" of cokes). 5) I have connected this to the LG app, and the smart features are not very interesting, although I'm not sure what I was expecting. Overall, we have been happy with the purchase, however we've learned that you pay a premium for some of these non-practical features (craft ice and insta view) and you might be just as pleased with a fridge that does the basics really well (water dispenser and space efficiency).

Sleek design, very well organized inside. very well made water and ice dispenser on the front door. Ultra quiet and just well made compared to Samsung refrigerators. Downside is cannot put fridge magnets on this fridge as it will not stick. Water filters are pricey between $43.00 and $50.00.

So this review does not start off as a 5 Star review but it sure did end up as one. The first fridge we got home and unpackaged a couple of days later (five to be exact) after sitting in our garage until we could get some help moving it inside and hooked up. We moved it in, unboxed it, hooked it up and moved it into its refrigerator alcove. Peeling the protective blue plastic off turned from excitement to dread as there was a very large dent in the side of the door along the edge of the glass. We had the appliance for almost two weeks and I was certain there would be problems. I went to my online order and found the number for customer service for appliance returns. The customer service representative I spoke to was very pleasant and explained that as long as we were still inside the 15 day return window there would be no problem returning it to the store of pick up (internet order) for them to process an exchange or refund. We loaded the fridge up the next day and returned it to the store where we had no problem exchanging it for a new and undamaged one. We couldn’t be happier with the new refrigerator; it’s amazing and it looks great in our new home. Thank you Best Buy!!

This LG frig is awesome. We had a poor experience with a Samsung 2014 model. The ice maker was supposedly fixed 4 times only to jam up again. This LG makes seemingly endless regular ice plus CRAFT ice. The storage itself is excellent for a counter depth frig.. Plus our grandson loves the see through door that lights up when knocked upon!

I have never had a better fridge. Always has ice ready; feels cold at all times no matter if I forget to close the door. Lots of space for my food and my homemade canned goods.

Love our fridge. It looks so nice in our space. Counter depth was such a good choice for us, standard would have stuck out way to far. Lots of storage even though fridge is not very deep. No ice production issues yet. Craft ice is cute but not ground breaking. I don't notice it melting any slower than normal ice.

Although my original refrigerator ordered kept getting canceled, I am glad that I opted for this LG model. It's a beautiful unit and stately looking appliance. Love the Craft Ice Feature and the drawer that could be a frezzer or refrigerator choice.

After 3-4 months waiting, it was worth the wait! The craft ice maker is nice, just very slow... 3-6 ice balls a day - So save up for the weekend! Overall this is a very nice refrigerator, plenty of space, and why I continue to purchase LG.

Love everything about this refrigerator. The middle drawer is a must have. So easy to retrieve items out of. The door within a door is also essential, don’t know how I lived without it. Everything stays cold or cool. The cocktail ice cubes are an extra bonus!!

Very clean lines! I love the door in door so the family is not standing there with the fridge open trying to decide what beverage they may want - they can see what is available and make their decision before even opening! The craft ice is also great!

The unit itself works well and overall we like the product. The only drawback is you cannot put tall items on the shelves. Love the craft ice maker

Outstanding in looks and shade Material is easy to maintain and clean Streak resistant Space is just a tad smaller ( our previous was just way bigger). I guess it is good because it teaches us to be more aware of left -overs… Would be great if only there was an egg container. Be aware too that space for tall bottles is limited to the movable shelf, unless you will pack the door with bottles of sauces and not drinks. The craft idea is so wonderful! The bottom Drawer just doesn’t open all the way…I feel I need to pull it more. The middle drawer does not really work like a freezer like it said it would. So be aware what you place in there.

We love this refrigerator. It does all of the refrigerator tasks well, but then you add Wi-Fi connectivity and the round ice cubes for even greater enjoyment.

Two months in - I love this fridge so much! Two ice makers are fantastic, especially the craft ice. A little short on freezer capacity, so I'm using the center drawer as additional freezer space.

I love my new refrigerator. It is the best one I have ever owned. I love how I can get the milk, juice, creamer, etc from the outer door. The party ice feature is a big plus.

Purchased this refrigeratior a few days ago. So far so good. Craft ice is really convenient feature. Also, the addicional tray that can be converted for different uses is amazing. Happy with purchase

Ive only had this fridge for a month but so far i love it. Counter depth may not work for a large family but its perfect for me. Love the craft ice and the middle drawer i use to chill wine. The obly negative is it seems very light and moves easy when you pull on the door. I love the smart features too but the black ss is probably my favorite thing, just beautiful color

I really like the refrigerator - the drawer, the InstaView, the craft ice, the color, etc. It is smaller than the fridge I had for years and, while I love that it fits better in the space, I haven't yet settled on how to arrange the shelves to work best for me. The factory arrangement makes some spaces difficult to access, so I need to experiment, but I have family staying with me for about another month, so I'll just wait. As for the value, it is expensive to purchase and I could have purchased a fridge for less, but it had the features I wanted to have and, like anything, you pay for what you get.
