This fridge is very quite and fits nicely in tight space but I don't like the cold water dispenser and it gives you only one glass of cold water.

My only complaint about this fridge is that the water doesn't dispense cold water and seems to run slow. Other than that it is a great fridge.

The frog itself is great with lots of room but the ice and water maker are an awful design. Too often we end up with more water all over the floor than on the glass

I've only had the frig for a week and the only issue is the way the water dispensers. After running it on the floor a couple times problems are solved-just hold the glass against the dispenser. Guests require instruction-LOL

Ice bin holds very little, won't dispense water or ice when door open. It's ok but nothing special for the cost. Looks nice, display is pleasing.

We were limited on our choices with the existing footprint of our kitchen. This unit afforded us maximum interior space compared against other units. Doors and shelves are a great quality. The only drawback is the water dispenser, which is awkward, but not a deal breaker.

An overall good fridge. It was one of the few that actually fit in the opening in my kitchen, and it is much higher quality that they others that fit, and are in the same price range. The only concerns I have are the longevity and brightness of the LED lights, as they don't appear to be replaceable, the water dispenser is a little awkward as it sits in on top and in front of the ice dispenser and overshoots the drip tray, and the lack of light on the touch buttons is annoying when trying to find them in the dark. My fridge also came with a dent in the side, but I decided to accept a discount over going through the trouble of getting a replacement.

Refrigerator is awesome. Plenty of room. Only negative is water dispenser is awkward. You have to set cup down to fill.

It's a good refrigerator with a decent layout and space. The LED lighting is a bit dim and the water dispenser is a bit slow. Otherwise, I have no complaints. Note that magnets do not stick to the front of this refrigerator, in case you use those for hanging photos and kid's artwork.

I bought this fridge a month ago and so far I am very pleased with it. I love the space size in both the top and the bottom (freezer). The only thing that I dislike is the drinking water dispenser. The cup needs to literally be half an inch or less away from the dispenser push button, otherwise it will spill. Other than that, I highly recommend it.

If you have limited space this is the model for you. Interior space cannot be beat for the dimensions. Good customization features with the shelving and side bins. The 35" wide model had the dual ice makers which I would have loved to have seen on this model but such is life. That being said, it does take over 24 hours to get a full ice bin and the water dispenser does not seem to cool the water very much.

This fridge is not a regular width. This was not pointed out to us when we were shopping. Also, the setup for the water dispenser is weird. If you're not careful you'll get water all over your arm and floor. And then when you do figure it out, you have to use a glass with a very thin lip! We actually exchanged this fridge.

Everything is as expected. Looks great. However, water dispenser is unlike any I have seen. Ice comes out normally. Water shoots out in an arc instead of straight down due to placement of nozzle. @@@@@@@@ Water nozzle is separate from ice dispenser) Have to position the cup just right or you will shoot yourself with water. Ok for me, but has to be a hassle with kids or guests. I have shot myself twice today already!

Lots of room for a smaller footprint fridge. Like the ice dispenser. The LED lighting is nice as is the French door option. The water dispenser is a bit slow for my liking but ok. There are an assortment of noises due to the door shelves and compressor. Nothing terrible. Just not as quiet as our last two.

    Working well but one quirk

Needed smallest option in stainless for double-door/freezer on bottom model and this LG size was right and highly recommended by Best Buy sales team. The delivery team still had a heck of a time getting it into our 1950s ranch--ended up going thru sliding doors in back of house and there was only 1 door it would fit thru inside house....so if you need a small model for your smaller older home, keep looking or be sure it will fit first (our bad). It works well enough now that its in, and we like it except for one huge quirk: the water dispenser sits so far out toward front of fridge that water spills out regularly if your cup isn't positioned exactly right under the spigot (which means that any guests or people not familiar with that quirk always spill water all over if we don't warn them about it first). It seems like it's designed to work easiest by pushing the water dispenser bar with your hand rather than your cup--for some reason there is less spillage doing it that way because then u can hold the cup down farther and avoid spillage. If I thought we could find a smaller model with a diff spigot system that would actually fit into our house I'd prob return it for that one reason...but since it was such a pain getting it in it's staying. Ice maker didn't work right away and Best Buy Geek Squad totally blew off our call for help on that (disappointing) but we finally figured it out. It works well otherwise and looks nice. I guess overall I can recommend it.

Lighting is great. Adaptable shelf for extra-tall items is so useful & easy. Front edge of wide bottom shelf is a nightmare to clean if liquid spills. A VERY small amount of colored liquid spilled, and seeped under glass. To remove this 1/2" spill under front edge of glass, I can't access it without removing everything from this full-width shelf. ?? The exterior is hard to maintain: nearly impossible to clean ice & water dispenser bars! Wiping off smudges & streaks necessitates some pressure and, unlike previously owned models, I can't prevent "dispensing". A mess every time, no matter how I try to avoid it. The entire stainless exterior is very, very frustrating to clean. I have tried various products and techniques, but steaks remain.

I absolutely love my LG French Door Refrigerator. I've waited 20 years to have a French Door and it's as great as I had anticipated. I've a relatively small space so the choices were limited but the LG met all my requirements including ice and water through the door. I love the icemaker in the door which frees up so much space in the refrigerator itself. It makes plenty of ice for a one-person household and it's great that I can stockpile it in the ice bin in the freezer if I need a large amount for big dinners or family visits. The bright LED lights are such an improvement over the old incandescents and the see-through bins are terrific. I don't have to guess which jar to choose by the shape of the jar lid! The deli drawer is so roomy and I've yet to fill up both vegetable/fruit bins. I like the freezer below since I don't use it as often as the fridge and all the items are visible. One suggestion - It would have been nice if LG had included in the instructions the information that the ice dispenser won't work if the right-hand refrigerator door is open. I had a few anxious moments the first day thinking that the icemaker wasn't functioning. My only two tiny quibbles are that the water dispenser has a flat surface that's awkward. If it were curved, it would be more ergonomically satisfying. And, as with all stainless steel appliances, it shows fingerprints which is annoying. But that's a small price to pay for such an improved quality of life from my new fridge.

Best option for the hole it fills...

After retrofitting into a hole that previously held a fridge from the 1970s, I am fairly pleased. Obviously the efficiency and operation is much better than the old fridge, and overall this is really a great model to consider. However I am finding that there are a few issues... First, the water and ice dispenser: the water dispenser pours from a different location than the ice which is not intuitive and is very oddly placed. The ice dispenser makes ice quickly, however the quantity is somewhat laughable. The ice reservoir (which is inside the left door) holds about 3 cups of ice and if it's not used routinely, any ice will tend to solidify at the auger and require emptying the entire container. Additionally, since the dispensers are internalized into the left door, there is essentially no useful storage space. I have 4 bottles of beer on the lower shelf and 4 Tabasco sized bottles on the upper and I could not possibly put one more item anywhere on the door. Also, if you typically have any condiments beyond ketchup, mustard, a jar of jelly, or a jar of salsa you will likely lose the use of at least 1 or 2 of the main shelves in the fridge. Sure, you can store a gallon of milk on the door, but the shelves have always worked perfectly in the past... Second, although the lower freezer area is nice and relatively functional, I find that more of the storable area is taken up by drawers and drawer hardware, resulting in less space for frozen goods. Third, I didn't realize that none of the surfaces were magnetic. Now I have to find wall space in my kitchen to hang the various items that used to be on the old fridge (i.e. - calendar, kids drawings, pictures, grocery lists, etc.). Finally, I just don't understand the idea behind a short in height full-width bottom drawer for deli, meat, or produce. Was there no way to create a short double drawer? This may seem a little nit-picky but if you want to reach in a grab, say, a package of cheese you have to open both doors on the fridge, yet you can open both of the large vegetable drawers above without issues by opening their associated single doors. Furthermore, the lower short drawer will not accept any contents that are taller than 3". Think a Dannon yogurt container height. Anything taller will not allow the drawer to to close. No spreadable butter containers, no fruit or veggies bigger than 3" ( those are some pretty small apples and oranges), any bulk size packages of deli cheeses or meats, and if you can forget to try and fit the family-sized package of ground beef unless you want to repackage it onto a sheet pan instead. Although there are some odd usability issues with this fridge, I still highly recommend it to buyers over most of the other options and brands. It does have a lot of good features on it, and has one of the higher (if not the highest) cu. ft. measurements of the fridges in this size and width, and also is fairly efficient in it's electricity usage.
