Looks nice and I love the wide bottom drawer in the refrigerator. I wish the ice maker was a little larger, but knew the size when I bought it. Great LG refrigerator/freezer

We have loved this refrigerator for all of the 1.5 years we've owned it. Love the versatility of the shelving, deep bins and the ease of changing out filters. Just last night, however, the compressor died. A repairperson arrived today and told us that a common issue with LG refrigerators is faulty compressors. We will never purchase another LG refrigerator again. This is too new and too expensive to have a 1.5 year life.

The refrigerator is extremely noisy, start on the first day of delivery. Service was done and told the noise is coming front the compressor, the cords are hitting against causing the noise, and cords too short to move. I was advised to contact store to replace. So, I have selected another model and awaiting delivery. Overall, the refrigerator cools well, keeps veggies crisp, I wouldn’t recommend LG model.

Item was delivered and installed by the GeekSquad. They damaged the unit during installation. I requested compensation and was refused. WARNING: Do not have an appliance installed by Best Buy. And they damaged my deck.

Purchased this LG refrigerator on December 14 of 2021. Today July 4, 2022 icemaker does not work and the new carton of ice cream has melted to soup texture in one day. I called for service and the soonest I can have a technician come out is 10 days from today which puts me at July 14, 2022. This refrigerator is seven months old. Now the error code displays on the front screen of the refrigerator CL E. Now I can’t even get water to dispense.

Poor installation, punched hole in my wall when they entered thru my front doorway. When I confronted him on the phone he denied it and said he didn’t do it. It wasn’t there before because I just painted. Also he did not level my fridge and my door keeps on slamming shut!!

Made it two months and the ice cube tray in the ice maker has snapped in half!

Love this fridge! So spacious while being narrow enough to fit in smaller spaces. That is not rasy to find! The hidden slim ice maker Inside the door frees up even more space by not protruding into the fridge cabinet. Does make for smaller ice holder but just fill the extra ice bin in the freezer and problem solved. Quiet, nice and cold, easy access to everything inside, seems to be a very efficient item. We previously had a side by side. Never again! Plus we got it on sale! Win win!

Have now owned the unit for 8 months and have become attached to LG. The fridge is a downsize from our previous issue-laden Samsung. It is consistent and reliable. Water and ice in the door is a really nice feature based on the design. Most of the components to the ice/water dispenser are in the left door. This is nice so it does not take up any room for refrigerated items. Because of this, the ice storage is a bit smaller than other models but the cubes are smaller so ice is created faster than other units. Do not expect to fill any coolers or ice containers. This does make the left door heavier and it does take some getting used to when closing the door. The first week we did bang it closed based on the weight pulling it to a slam. It is not an issue once we recognized the differences in the door. Children may have to be tutored a bit. No ice bin the the lower freezer gives more room for other items. We have been very pleased with the refrigerator and would buy again and certainly recommend. Best buy was knowledgeable and helpful with the sale and delivery

I didn’t have much choice since I needed a 33” refrigerator and the supply was all on back order. This one had my minimum requirements: An ice maker and water in the outer door and a flex drawer. The flex drawer was not as big as I had hoped, and you had to access it from the inside of the refrigerator (unlike the Samsung I had which had a much larger outside-access drawer). The ice maker is in the upper door which adds room to the adjacent top shelf, but does make the door thicker, thus a bit heavy. The freezer is roomy but the lighting for the lower drawer is dim because it relies on the light from the upper shelf. Not a deal breaker. The model has one compressor, not two (like the Samsung) so I’m hoping it doesn’t break down. I understand refrigerators aren’t made to last very long. The Samsung I had a leaking faulty ice maker and other problems that couldn’t be repaired. I only had it for 7 years.

Love my new refrigerator! It’s spacious- well organized- I LOVE the ice and water in the door. I have friends who have refrigerators with those features and they are so noisy, they drive me to distraction. But, other than an occasional “ clunk” of a couple ice cubes falling into the dispenser chute- this one is so quiet. I couldn’t be happier! Best purchase I’ve made in years! Why did I wait so long?

I've owned this refrigerator for 5.5 months and it is thee best purchase I've made in a long time. So roomy inside but narrow enough to fit in our smallish kitchen/narrow doorway. The delivery men were so thorough and professional! It is quiet, makes plenty of ice and so easy to keep clean, Best Buy financing made this purchase possible, thank you Best Buy!!

We had an odd size to fit our refrigerator into, and this was the biggest refrigerator we could find that was black stainless steel to fit in our opening. I absolutely love this refrigerator! It is roomy, easy to see everything, plenty of drawers, and the water and ice function is great! No fingerprints on the outside of my refrigerator! 

Thus far I'm struggling to figure out why I hadn't purchased this unit 11 months earlier. This LG unit is far better, brighter, more efficiently laid out than my prior unit. It took a bit of getting used to as we moved from a Side by Side to this French Door variety, but it was well worth the training time. I really like the soft touch water and ice dispenser. First, it's quiet. Second, the button is large and easily pressed. Third, the opening is large enough to accommodate all of the glasses and pitchers we typically use, and the shelf provides positive support as the water volume increases. I appreciate that the door stays open where it's opened to. Unlike our old device that the doors either swung closed, or swung completely open with a bang. The door has conveniently sized and located shelves, which has proved to keep our refrigerator much better organized, and everything is easily seen. More importantly, items placed into the various pull out drawers keep to the temperatures expected...no more frozen lettuce or tomatoes! I wasn't expecting to like the large freezer drawer. I thought it would get in the way. It's been a nice change from the tiny space we struggled with in our side by side unit. Moreover, the ice dispenser in the door takes up so little space that we've gained at least 1 cubic foot of refrigerator space just from a more efficient layout. This is our first LG appliance, and I have to say, it'll likely be jus the first of many. I'll be sure to include LG in my searches for additional home appliances.
