It looks good and fits well in my new kitchen. However, the ice and water taste awful. We have dumped ice and water to no avail. A call to LG led to a several minute call and finding out the wrong filter was sent. We are now waiting . . .waiting. It seems to work well but I would love some ice;

First one would not go below 40 degrees and checked with three different thermometers, digital, dial, and mercury. All confirmed high temps. Next one was just a bit better. Stays about 37 degrees most of the time but can't cope with any warm food put in it. Goes past 40 and does not have the power to bring back to 37 degrees for many hours. No matter what setting I have on the front 33, 34, 35, 36 it always stays at about 37 degrees. Would never buy this brand again. I have a cheap insignia fridge out in my garage that sometimes has 100 degree temp but the insignia fridge stays at 32-35 degrees, Why can't this very expensive fridge bring the temps to what I set them to ???????????????

There is nothing that can be done to change this. I don’t want to have to continue to purchase spring water to get good drinkable water.
