    Great product just needs more ice. there is only two of us and we run out sometimes. Going to add additional freezer ice marker.

    Long story short… we bought this fridge a 1 1/2 yrs ago.. when it arrived it had a massive dent in the door like someone took a baseball bat to it… then we discovered one of the drawers was cracked.. we fought to get a replacement and a year & half later the freezer goes out completely!!! it started making a weird noise and then just stopped working all together…Called best buy sinxe we had the 3 yr warranty… they said i had to call LG since it was under their 5 year manufacturing warranty. LG says no call best buy.. I went back & forth for 2 days.. finally went straight to the store and had to demand someone fix it or replace the fridge.. they exchanged it but i said to heck with LG and we went with samsung. Im happy as could be with my samsung and will never buy LG again. I later found out MANY lgs were going out due to cooling air vent issues. Customer service was horrible with LG.. no one fixes the issue they just keep transfering you to different departments and will have you reevaluating your whole life…and geek squad really was no better. OVERALL GET ANYTHING BUT THIS IR ANY LG FRIDGE OR YOU WILL BE SORRY.

    LOUD!!! And impossible customer service access

    Love the size and features, but the compressor is so loud and vibrates to the point that you cannot have anything inside touching or it will rattle. Even makes our glasses in the cabinet across the kitchen rattle. Have tried to get Best Buy to send out a repair, but apparently that appointment didn't get into the system. Today, after being on hold 4 times for at least 25 minutes each, I still have not reached anyone to help us. This is absolutely unforgivable. We purchased several appliances from them and this is only 5 days old and we can't get any help. I'm still on-hold. Will report back later if any success, but recommend shopping at a non big box where perhaps they might actually care about their customers.

    It’s a fine refrigerator but it makes a very high pitched whining noise about 85% of the time. It’s kind of loud and very annoying. Other then that it’s a fine refrigerator.

    This is my second LG, and honestly I didn’t want this trash can either, but I bought this year when appliances were in short supply. This is my second fridge with LG, and I hate it too. Both of my refrigerators have had compressor issues, last one going out twice before I just tossed it for this model. Now, 6 months in, the day before Christmas, it went out on my new model. Avoid this model completely. I am so sick of this thing and the minute it goes out of warranty, I’m going over to Whirlpool and get the model I want.

    Filters run out fast and does not keep enough ice for a family of 5. I have to by bags of ice with nowhere to keep it. Never again will I purchase with an ice maker on the door.

    Broke in 6 months! Worst customer service!

    My recommendation is to NEVER buy an LG product!!  My wife and I bought a refrigerator in April of 2020.  We really liked the layout and appreciated how well if fit in our kitchen.  Unfortunately on Halloween it stopped working; only 6 months after we bought it!  Now, over two weeks later we are no closer to having our problem resolved.  We have not even been able to schedule a repair appointment.  In fact, it has taken so long that my near daily, frustrating call with customer service has shifted from repair to replacement or refund.  The problem is that it took four weeks to receive the fridge we have.  When it is all said and done I will have been without my fridge for between four and six weeks!  At some point this surely must cross into lemon laws or possibly even warranty fraud!

    Died in less 2 years

    We have loved this refrigerator for all of the 2 years we've owned it. Last night, however, the compressor died. Best Buy said LG does not honor the warranty (even through we have a 3 year warranty). Now I have to get a entire new fridge because there are no pairs to repair the fridge even with the warranty no parts in stock.

    Ice-Maker Dead after 3 years

    Ice Maker dead after 3 years. We were forced into buying a new refrigerator when ours went out on us. Limited options with the size of the past fridge and wanted to support LG. Had problems with the ice maker very regularly until it has now totally died on us. I'll have to figure out how to replace it myself.

    Do not buy LG!!!

    Our LG fridge died after 5 years and 2 months. After waiting 2weeks for the technician he replaced the compressor for $375 - this is the price when covered by warranty! Two weeks later and it’s dead again! The technician will be here again…in 2 weeks! Do not buy an LG!
